I was having trouble with my 24 yr old solar system for my pool. Jesse and Anthony came out replaced my actuator at a great price and quick response. I had to call again as it wasn't heating. They came out the next day and did a complete diagnostic check and inspected my panels on the roof. They figured out it was a sensor that needed to be changed. I originally hired Solar Pool Services, on 07/07/2023, to install a brand new customized solar pool heating system for a new pool build, and they were patient with me when I ran into problems with the pool contractor and they honored our original contract 16 months after they were originally scheduled to install our system. At the start of our project, Riverside County did not require a building permit for this kind of project, but by the time we were ready to move forward, we found that had changed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Paige worked with me to figure out what the county was going to require for the permits and we split the additional cost for permits and a civil engineer to verify the our roof would support the additional load.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our custom system consists of (5) 4'x10' panels, (7) 4'x12' panels, and the necessary plumbing and sensors which are connected to our pool automation system. The installation took one day and they even painted the pipes to match the stucco, eves, and roof tiles so they system doesn't stand out as an eyesore. After installation, they scheduled and passed the final inspection, without the need for repairs, corrections, reinspection(s), or added costs. I know from experience how hard it is to find and hire honest contractors and I am happy to vouch for these guys. As other reviewers have noted, they're speedy, honest, and reliable! We called Solar Pool Services since the solar company we used before no longer serviced our area...unfortunately the weather wasn't great but they came out anyway to go over the 5 panels that were either leaking or disconnected by the previous solar company. After discussing the age of the panels they said they could repair them if we wanted but the panels were 14 years old and honestly having them come out and do repairs on them seemed like a never ending story. We asked them to send us a bid to replace all the panels which they did. The price seemed fair so we decided to bite the bullet and replace them all. The guys did a great job removing and installing the new panels (the previous company had just left the old panels under the ones they had replaced years ago). Solar Pool Services took all the old panels and showed us how to properly use the existing equipment which we had replaced 2 years prior. The panels look great and most important the system is already heating the pool! Bill and Amy run this company, and I believe they are worth supporting, especially if you are in the Inland Empire. Bill is very honest and kind. They have some helpers, but these two are really the important people to work with. This is a very busy time right now for all Solar Pool companies, so all of them are really booked up (may take a couple months to get an appointment with any of them). After the initial consult/service (which also took a while to get on their schedule), I needed them to come back (which could only be booked for several weeks later). Unfortunately I ultimately had to work with a company (from farther away) that suddenly was in the area and could come sooner, but Bill and Amy were kind enough to give me a partial refund for the first visit. read more

I saw their truck parked outside of my neighbor's house, so I made a point to chat with them because we were having some issues with our solar pool heater. Without an appointment, the gentleman came over and fixed my issue, it was program related. He didn't even charge me! I got their business card and stored it away. Fast forward a year and our panels sprung a leak. I called them up and they came out the next day and fixed the leak. Bill was great. I just purchased a home in the Upland hills with pool solar panels already installed. I had no clue on how they operated so I wanted to have an inspection and a training on them. I looked and looked for companies that specialized in pool solar panels but I only found companies in the LA area. I did more and more research and finally came across Solar Pool Services. I called and Bill answered the phone. He was very kind and attempted to help me over the phone. I asked if he could come out to inspect them. Bill came out 2 days later. He explained the whole process, what month I should I expect the solars panels to heat the water enough to actually swim comfortably, etc. He went on the roof and performed a detail inspection and actually discovered a leak in one of the panels. Bill repaired it on the spot. I was relieved that Bill told me that my panels are in excellent condition and that I should expect to truly feel the water heat up in around late April/ early May. Sent out a request via yelp for repairs on my solar panel. Half the businesses didn't reply, and most that did either couldn't do it for over a month or didn't offer that service. Solar pool services contacted me almost immediately, and set an appointment for Monday morning, and gave me a quote for the repair. To be honest, the guy was several hours late, but they did keep updating me through out the day, and when he did arrive he was very nice, and fixed the leak very quickly. Since it took him only 30 minutes to fix it they actually charged me $60.00 LESS than the quote over the phone. All in all I was very happy with the service. read more

I have been a customer for years, and would not hesitate to have them install a solar system on my next home with a pool. They are prompt, return calls, are experts in getting your pool where you can enjoy it. When I have had issues due to pool service people not knowing what they are doing, and unintentionally mess up my equipment, Danny is always patient and thorough in getting my pool equipment up and running right!
