Yes, I waited about 30 min on a Saturday afternoon for a full set but it was sooooo worth the wait! They have a million different design options, chrome, stones, SNS, gel, hand painted... I told the tech I wanted coffin nails & showed him this design from an online pic & he nailed it 100%. I have no complaints. Once I was I. Wonderful pedicure for $45. Rub my ankles mostly would have prefered feet and legs but the extra lotion and oil was nice. 2 weeks after went to have Gel polish changed. Young boy did it, took over an hour and now the polish is literally falling off my nails. Idk what happened, but i noticed a few steps were missed, and he got up and left over 3 times. after 15 plus years of gel manis i kinda know the norm. I gave him a nice tip cause i felt bad he seemed to be struggling. Ive never had polish with holes in the middle where polish didnt stick!! I called on 1/2/23 mid-afternoon to see if they were open, as my usual salon was open but had a 2-hour wait. They said they had availability with little waiting so I headed there. My initial impression was that the salon looks older and a little run-down, I wasn't super impressed with the ambiance, but they do have all the latest brands in nail color. There are two large-screen TVs set up in the salon and a hand-washing station at the back. But I will say, hands down, they do an AWESOME job on my nails! I've had appointments with three different technicians, and all have been good. But I think I'm partial to the older gentleman (not sure of his name). I'm lucky if my SNS nails stay on for 10 days, and they've lasted 3 weeks each time! I've continued to book appointments here since that initial visit, and my nails look great every time! AWFUL DONT GO!! Just absolutely terrible customer service. I took my mom here as a walk in for Mother's Day. Despite the fact that they did do a very clean job on my mom's acrylics they harassed me the entire duration we were there. At first it was harmless, asking if I went to school and how old I was but it began taking a turn when they asked if I had a boyfriend. When I said yes they said "Would you like two" Im not joking. They told me that the very young boy (about 15-17 years old, I'm 22) working on my mom's toe nails is looking for a girlfriend and they wouldnt back off. They insisted relentlessly, laughing in our faces talking back and forth between each other in a language as they spoke very little English. It was a confusing situation in which me and my mom held our breath until it was over. I would never go again. read more

I am so disappointed and frustrated I could cry!! I chose this place based on the Yelp reviews but They don't seem to be accurate at all!!! First no one understands English well enough, so if you have questions it will seem like too many questions. Second I said this exactly: "I don't want to use the drill on the ends of my nails. Can we use a rough grit nail file instead?" And they refused service. Again maybe a language barrier but I basically got tired of repeating myself over and over (a HIGH rate of this) and just left with bare nails. So freaking disappointing. Well this was my second visit and it fell extremely short of the first experience. The nail technician cut my toe (not once but three times)..and it gets worse... Once I got home, I noticed that the color is not well blended and it's not neat or cleaned up around the toe. That would likely explain why the tech was so quick to put my socks on when she was done. My nails are blah and I didn't get what I initially asked for. Once I brought that to their attention, they were going to add the design but by this point, I was irritated because they cut my toe. So now here is why I'm even more pissed off...I paid $115 for a manicure and pedicure, when all I really got was a SNS color change because they did not clean the nail bed or even do the massage or soak my hands in water (unlike the first visit) and a jacked up gel pedi. I forgot to mention that the under-color used on the pedi is white. That likely contributes to why it doesn't look so good. The lighting and angle in which I was sitting definitely did a great job hiding this horrible pedicure. Not sure if I want to give this place a third try. I'll likely take the 27 minute drive to the nail salon I went to in Buford vs this one (20 minutes away). Tonight, I'll treat my toe to prevent an infection. read more

With COVID this nail spa has taken many precautions. All nail tech are tested and the spaces are spread for social distancing. I love this set done. Drilling was a little harsh on the cuticles but overall the service was great. Employees are friendly and manager will see to it that you're not ignored. UPDATE!!!!! I used to run to this place to get my nails done. Now? No. The quality of work and customer service has declined tremendously since I began going here. The last straw was two days ago when I set an appointment early in the morning to get my nails done by one person, but in the middle of waiting I get out on the spot and pawned off to a guy who was clearly on his first day on the job! Absolutely rude and unacceptable. He didn't have/know where anything was. I just asked for a full nude acrylic set and it took him so long!! I watched two people come in after me and leave before me smhhhh.....Meanwhile the guy I originally came to get my nails done by was no where to be found then comes back (like 45 minutes later) and starts doing someone else's nails! I am done. Two days later and my polish is chipping..how sway? This used to be a good place but it's no longer any more. I usually HATE getting my nails done because it's so time consuming, but this nail salon is convenient for my hectic schedule and thank GOD they are good. Got my nails done there today 9/29 at around 130pm went in for SNS only and I didn't leave there til almost 330pm, mind you there was no wait. The time it took wasn't really my issue. The quality of my set wasn't the normal quality I've received. Nail tech didn't seem sure how to do SNS and left me with a few lumps that are noticeable at an angle and some fragile nails. I asked for her to smooth it more and she said she did. I also asked her to use another clear coat of the powder for the top to make them thicker like the set I came in with and she didn't, I was just offered a design till I said yes. But I am now drawn to write this review because I already have a broken nail, not even 12 hours after getting them done. The tip was too fragile and snapped off. These ladies are very nice and give an awesome pedicure. I got a SNS "manicure" that I was less than impressed with. They didn't actually manicure my nails. The $30 SNS manicure is apparently just the application. They didn't push my cuticles back or anything, I had to go home and do my own cuticles. So even though the polish still looks good a week later, there is a big gap between where the polish ends and my cuticle begin. read more

I started out having a good relationship with Michael who does nails at this location. Each time I get my nails done I pay more than $100 for special designs and stones etc.. The last several times I've gotten my nails done I've had to come back within a week because the nails come off very easily. The last time I was there on May 14, I paid $130 to have my nails done to this day I've had to go back four times in two weeks and Michael had audacity to tell me that I'm not taking care of the nails. He did a horrible job he has been doing a horrible job the last several times. To be honest they owe me a refund of some kind because I've had to make several trips back up there after I paid more than $100 to get my nails done. Gas is very expensive these days and I cannot afford to keep spending my time to come back to get poor work repaired. Beware because as long as you're paying your money and not complaining he will be all smiles but the minute he has to repair his work he has an attitude. To add insult to injury I have a big event in Florida tomorrow and I still had to go back to the salon this morning because yet another nail fell off but he is the one with the attitude I work hard for my money. I will never visit this establishment again and I advise you to think twice before you do. read more

Never again! I had to request my toenail polish be removed and done again because it looked like my 6 year old polished them. The lady was extremely rough filing my nails and hit my cuticles several times. It took over 30 minutes for a simple flower design which rubbed off when the lady was roughly massaging my hands afterwards. After two hours I told her to forget it and leave it as be. To follow that up she applied the extremely hot towel directly to my arm without even shaking it for a second to let it cool down some. They attempted to charge me an additional $5 for a rubbed off design and I told them absolutely not. Then the owner has an attitude and slams my card down on the counter when I let her know that's not how she received it and she need to hand it back just as it was handed to her. Very nice clean nail salon. I had a lip, chin wax and a spa mani and pedi which were good. The only thing that I didn't really like was the fact that they don't have nail dryers for your feet in the salon. They complete your manicure first and their is a fan at each station so you can put one hand to dry near the fan and then the nail technician paints the other hand. Since my toes were painted last, they were not dry. So of course when I walk out the salon, my toe nail polishes smudges. However, I would go back they did a decent job with my mani/pedi. read more

Awful experience!!!! I went to Solar Nail & Spa asking for a manicure and pedicure for me and my three daughters (ages 5, 7, and 11). They gave my eleven-year-old a release to sign. Then the person performing the services on my eleven year old came over to clarify the services ordered for my daughter. When I told her I wanted the children's Mani/Pedi package, I was told she was too tall for that package, and the manager wouldn't allow it. I explained the website had an age limit but no height limit; I was then told they would honor the price. My pedicure was done, but my manicure was not done. Frustrated, I decided to leave after the person who was performing my service started working on another client. I mentioned the first time client deal on the website, which should have resulted in a five-dollar discount. Still, I was not only charged full price for my service, but I was also overcharged for my eleven year old's services. Do not go to this salon.
