I don't usually write reviews but I have to warn everyone...I been coming here for years just off the strength of the fact my mom has knows these people for awhile but in that time frame I can confidently say they do not listen to what YOU WANT they'll do WHATEVER THEY WANT! And they are EXTREMELY RUDEEEEEEEEE! I've witness how unsanitary that place is and they're not problem solving oriented at all. I've gotten severe infections on my fingers and toes after getting my nails done by them. I've seen how they move from one person to the next without ever cleaning off their tools and I've been hospitalised for these infections !!! Let me say that again IVE BEEN HOSPITALISED FROM GETTING MY NAILS DONE HERE, VERY UNCLEAN TOOLS. And the employees are too rude I had a lady rush me out of the seat one time even tho my nails weren't dry she kept yelling "You can leave , go home , leave!" And the nails smeared right after I stood up so she had to do them again and had an attitude after having to do them over again....even after she redid the nails it was extremely poor quality nails and I disputed the transaction with my bank because of the way I was treated and as you can imagine those nails got infected as well! He said yes would you like a manicure also, I said yes, isn't that normally done all together. He said no.. I said OK. Gel nails and manicure please. Then said 35.00. Ok. I sit down and the lady tells me the powder is healthier just $40 I said OK when she's all done she says OK oh done I said what about my manicure all you did was put the powder on my nails what about my cuticle's massage lotion et cetera she said $10 more they won't get me again and the nail shape from the powder looks weird ​ read more

I had THE WORST experience at this place. All I wanted was a simple fill in and design....instead got meat with an unmatched fill in and broken nails 2 days later. The nail tech DID NOT KNOW HOW TO COLOR MATCH or do a simple fill in. My nails were uneven on both the top and bottom part of the nail. She also proceed to meet me with an attitude when I told her the colors didn't match. She said "I'm only doing this one more time and after that I'm done. " after that she shaped my nails UNEVENLY and then proceeded to cover the nail with hell nail polish to match the colors. And it only got worse: during the checkout our nail tech forgot to add her tip to the card so had to cancel the transaction and refund the previous transaction but proceeded to swipe my card 2 more times. After that didn't work (because my bank flagged the transaction after the first attempt) we used my bf's card. He was charged. But get this SO WAS I. So I called back to let them know they charged me twice and they said that there was nothing they could do. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME! I have been coming to this salon for over a year and I've had nothing but positive experiences with them, I have had a couple bad visits but today was beyond atrocious. I came in to get a gel manicure and I ended up with bumpy and uneven nails. I had fake nails on prior and she started using the drill, immediately turned it off and said "what is this??" in a very rude way. She was very rude and condescending the entire visit. The polish didn't even reach close to my cuticles. They also charged me $55 when I've gotten something very similar to this (maybe even more complicated) and that still wasn't more than $40. I asked for five colors, a different one on each nail, and she got the wrong color twice. I'm pretty sure that's why she overcharged me because she had to keep getting up. She asked me what color I wanted the base but it was so loud in there and she was wearing a mask so I couldn't understand her. She started getting mad. She made me rush to find a color so I ended up with one that I hate. When I chose the base color and turned back to her, she asked if I found one. I said yes and she responded with "good girl" as if she were talking to a dog. She showed me the design and I reluctantly had to agree because a) I was tired of being there and b) she was getting angrier by the second and I didn't want to make her more mad. I am very disappointed in this visit and the only reason I will be going back is to get these horrendous nails fixed by someone else. I have been frequenting this salon for 5+ years. Given I really like the Tech, I kept giving chances "recently" but today was the last day she will get to tell me "no one can see or tell" when I would point out the mis-match nail lengths, shapes, lumpy nail beds, thickness, etc...Granted we get our nails done for them to look nice, but when it's no longer important to the Tech for the person paying and tipping HER, to be satisfied, it's time to move on to someone that will take their time and value my opinion as THE PAYING CUSTOMER. If I could leave a ZERO star I would!!! I'm so upset right now! And you can see in the picture why!! It looks like a damn 5yrs old did my nails!! FIRST she wanted to cut my damn nails and they were my real nails! I asked for marble there was no blue in the marble and when I asked her to change it she had the nerve to have an attitude. I hate that it had to come to this for me to address the horrible customer service at Protop nails on scenic Highway located in Snellville Ga. I've been coming here for about a year and had to switch up technicians due to inadequate nail services received in the last. In this case, the technician who I've dealt with a few times, Pov, was extremely rude and would not accept responsibility or accountability for the poor services with my nails. SNS with a design is the service I received. The quality of my nails were poorly done. Within two days of this expensive service, I had to return for not one repair but 2, and then another and 1 more time after that. After the first repair, Pov did repair the damaged nails free of charge. The second time I returned, there was another technician that had to provide her with steps to take when applying two different colors. I believe the young ladies name was Mai. Pov acted very nonchalant about the whole situation after Mai was explaining to her what she did wrong. Pov, indicated that I would have to come back to get another set without the design. How can a nail shop tell you what type of service not to get if they are offering it?? Unbelievable! I will not be returning. Pov really need to practice much better customer service here. I really hope that management will intervene to make this right. read more

Debbie is my new favorite nail technician. Going forward I will call ahead to schedule with her. She did an amazing job on my pedicure. She took her time to ensure I enjoyed my pedicure and that my nails looked beautiful. Vu the shop manager, is AWESOME. I've never been to a shop that is managed so well. He as well as all of his technicians are courteous and extremely professional. They also use disposable liners for each client which is a huge PLUS and something I look for in every nail salon I visit. It's about a 20 minute drive from my home; I pass several that are closer, but for the type of customer service I feel I deserve and pay for along with beautiful nails, I won't mind a few extra miles. read more

My nails came out thick and uneven. Once an older women came in wanting her nails done my nail tech began rushing her work to finish in time for that client. If the older lady had an appointment I believe the nail tech shouldn't have taken me in. I was already waiting 20 minutes when I had arrived. Overall I just want to emphasis that if you are young take your business else where because once an older lady/male enters they are no longer focused on you as a client. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for years. I've read the other reviews and it looks like other people have had issues, but I always have a good experience here! The staff is super friendly and the mani and pedis I've gotten here are great, and affordable compared to other spots in the Snellville area. I usually get a spa pedicure and either a spa mani or a gel mani. Recommend for any of those services for sure. read more

My pedicure was far less than commendable. I will definitely not be coming back. The staff arrived late for their morning appointments, the lady who started my pedicure kept apologizing to the lady who came in for her manicure, although this lady arrived 15 minutes after me. Then she massages one of my legs and not the other--only after I mentioned how rushed I felt. I politely cancelled my manicure and paid for my services, and left. The pedicure was good. The manicure however was awful. I requested the simplest manicure and The woman butchered my nails.

I have come here a few times before and it's always been okay. Last time I went it was HORRIBLE. My nail broke after the first day and I went back and they fixed it for no charge. (However that has never ever happened before. Then I went out of town for a trip and two of my nails broke off within a week of getting them done. I spent $40 including tip for them to last for just one week. That is ridicilous. very dissapointed. read more

I went ahead and gave this place 2 stars because they had great customer service. All workers are friendly and greet you. However for the actual nail job, I am less than satisfied. The nail techs are not skilled and did a horrible job on both me and my mom. I got SNS which turned out completely uneven and chunky. Some nails were round and some were sharp, even after I asked her to make them all sharp. It just seemed like she didn't know how. She filed one nail way too skinny to the point where it looked like a completely different shape from the rest. My nail bed was uneven on all nails. Also, the sides of my nails barely had any color on them. My mom experienced the same thing from a different tech. Her nails were filed rounded even though she wanted squared. The nail tech did a terrible job with her gel. The sides of her nails were missing some polish!!! The top coat was dingy and wasn't super shiny like it's supposed to be. Would not recommend this place at all. No one is highly skilled in doing nails. Would rather travel to the city of Atlanta to get my nails properly done. read more

I came in two weeks ago, just to get a fill in for a gel polish set I had done at another salon. I had a basic color and all I wanted was a touch up, and since i had just gotten my hair done at a nearby beauty salon, I decided that I could go ahead and get it done here. What a mistake. I clearly tell the technician that I want a gel polish fill in. She proceeds to start removing my acryllic and even painfully breaking and cutting it off. I ask if this is necessary since I only want a gel polish fill in. She says "Oh no we are going to put SNS, it's healthier. It is stronger and doesn't fade. " I was angry but in a slight hurry so I complained that I had wanted gel polish but didn't cause a big protest since there was no going back now. She even tried to get another technician nearby to tell me how great SNS is. Once my nails are done, I am not fully pleased with the look. The polish wasn't even at all. I just wanted to get out of there so I paid and left. Not even kidding - the "stronger" SNS nails lasted less than a week before I got a chip in one of them. Before two weeks, three nails were completely broken. I will never go to this salon again. If I am paying I should get the service I asked for. Horrible customer service. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it had good reviews and is close to my house. I ended up getting a manicure with gel polish and a pedicure. Everyone was nice and they did a good job at the time but the gel manicure did not even last week before it started lifting up at the edges and rubbing off at the tips. My pedicure also started rubbing off at the tips in less than a week. I wasn't even doing my normal daily work like cleaning, hands in water, yardwork, etc. because I was out of town on business. At the old Chris's I went to, I typically had to take the gel polish off because of the grow out, not because it was starting to lift! I'd have a hard time spendings money here again. read more

I used to go there frequently and had positive experiences. The last two times I was there--not so good. With my first unpleasant experience, my toe nails were not cut the way I asked for them to be cut. In addition, half way through my pedicure, the woman who was doing it left with two other people and I was given a substitute technician. I stayed away for a while after that. I went again last week, and had asked for a specific technician. I was told that the person didn't do pedicures any longer, which I knew was not true as my daughter-in-law was having a pedicure just prior to the time I requested with that technician. I had planned on getting a manicure and pedicure. The girl they gave me seemed nice, but my feet sat in cool water more than 30 minutes waiting for her to get to me. Within a few seconds of the technician beginning my pedicure, she had drawn blood on the cuticle of my big toe--a huge NO NO. It was obviously fresh blood and the technician said, "you've got a boo-boo." and pointed out the blood. I told her that was not there before I came in. She said she didn't do it, but she did, as she was pushing the cuticle back with the metal instrument. She put antiseptic on the cut and proceeded with putting polish on my nails. I declined the manicure. With two bad experiences in my last two visits, I will look for another salon. read more
