Is Aloha a smaller company, yes, but will Gabe answer your call when needed, yes! Fast forward install happened within a couple weeks of signing the deal. Minas was the head installer it seemed (all people are internal employees with Aloha and work is NOT contracted out, that was a big seller for us), and two other guys Rigo and Matt. All were super nice and very professional. Minas walked me through everything at the end, and major bonus points once he installed the piping going from battery to roof, he asked if I had paint that matched the exterior of my house. I did, and he then painted all of the piping! I know he did not have to do that, so that was a fantastic touch. My skylight had been installed incorrectly by another company, which was contributing to the moisture issue. Since skylight repairs can be a relatively small job, I found that not many reputable companies were interested in doing this type of work. I was very happy to find Sunline Energy. Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

Just recently, the condenser fan fell off and broke leaving the AC out of order on our STR in the middle of August. First of all, the phone number gets you to an AI attendant, which is fine, but then no one calls you back. It took at least 4 calls and finally me booking a service call on their website to get a call back. Short story is that they couldn't get the parts (2.5 yr old unit), had me scheduled in two weeks to fix it, but would not call me to confirm parts arrival. Literally a dozen calls, no call back. I would avoid them if you can, until they figure out how to call a customer back. Oh, and they sold me an AC system that was not coastal rated right on the coast (therefore, no warranty coverage).

Absolutely do not use this company!…read more I signed a contract with Cosmic Solar & Roofing to install Solar Panels on a ADU we are building. I gave an initial deposit and was told the next step would be to pull permits. What actually happened next was they came onto my property and installed solar panels on the ADU without ever contacting me, making an appointment, or getting any kind of approval. They never spoke to me once -- they just showed up and did the entire installation without my knowledge. It wasn't until they contacted me demanding full payment that we realized they had installed the Solar Panels. ( again this is on an ADU so I never even knew someone was on the property working) They have now demanded full payment and have filed a mechanic's lien against my home even though the system is not operational and the permit has not been signed off. I made numerous calls and emails to Pey and the owner Bahram Shadzi and did not receive any response. This behavior is outrageous. I have now filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board. Stay far away from Cosmic Solar & Roofing.
