My experience with Solar Price Discovery could not have been better. I researched several companies and found them to be the best overall. The customer service and support was outstanding. Yoan was very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful every step of the way. Of course the best part of going solar is saving money on my electric bill. I will highly recommend Solar Price Discovery to all of my family and friends. read more

this company did such a great job on our solar and roofing project. they installed a tile roof and an 8.8kw solar system with panasonic solar panels. ariel, our main point of contact was able to simplify the process for us and give us a step by step plan so we know what to expect during the process and after its finished. also, ariels team had great customer service and attended to all our questions and concerns. they were quick to reply on time and very professional. we really appreciated all the hard work that went into our project and cant thank you enough for making it stress free for us read more

I was referred to Ariel at Solar Discovery by my real estate agent back in January, and I am so glad to have made the connection. I was in the middle of being stuck with another company that could not navigate the city bureaucracy when I needed to get solar panels installed on my newly constructed ADU. When I talked to Ariel and cut ties with the other company, we moved forward with Solar Discovery and panels were installed within a few days. Checkpoints with the city and the LADWP began to move forward again, and we recently received the Permission to Operate. Ariel handled all of the interactions with the inspectors and the whole process was incredibly easy - such a relief when trying to finish an ADU construction! They even had a financing option that was easy for me to get set up with. Did I mention that the cost also ended up being more than $10,000 less than the other company was going to charge me? So glad I went with Solar Discovery! read more

We simply had an estimate done today - but they were wonderful. They were on time, and extremely knowledgable. I appreciated how much information they shared. Bobby made sure I had all my questions answered. Very impressed with them! read more

I'm glad I discovered this company. They took very good care of my solar roof top system. They were patiently listening to my questions and always had the answers. And even now, in a while, after my system produces properly, Ariel always has time for me and my questions. So, thank you! read more

These folks are great. For us, they are the exception to the rule in this industry. We had our Panels and Battery installed by a company who then went out of business (Petersen-Dean/Solar America). We never got a briefing on how the system was finally setup, what we needed to do to maintain etc. Not long after - the LG Battery failed - though it wasn't initially obvious whether it was the battery or the inverter. I contacted several companies and individuals. A couple came out and evaluated - then never returned my calls. Some never returned my initial calls. Several wouldn't work on a system they didn't install. One charged me to come out and look at the system (for about half an hour) - then proposed to charge me several thousand dollars to come back out and "really" look at the system and then work with LG to replace the battery. (Don't know what the initial charge was for then??). Working with Chris and Lisa and the other folks at Solar Price Discovery was an exception to all of these experiences. They were up front, true to their word and reasonably priced. As much as anything they were great at keeping me informed all along the way. They ultimately installed the replacement battery (under warranty) - no additional "hidden" charges. Made sure I understood what was happening at each step. We couldn't be happier and will certainly call them again should we need more help. HIGHLY recommended. read more

I am so happy that I decided to go with Solar Price Discovery for my new solar and solar battery installation. They were prompt, friendly, honest and even worked late in the evening to finish an installation. I had called three other solar companies for quotes, and a friend suggested I call Solar Price Discovery. I found that their prices were very competitive, and they upgraded my solar panels to the newer Panasonic VBHN3 330 watt panels. Ariel was the knowledeable salesman, but I found he was also an engineer, co-owner and installer, too. He knows how to do everything, I think. Plus, he kept us abreast of the work progress, what to expect next, and when he or the workers would arrive. It was a smooth operation. Also, the company does all the paperwork for the solar panel rebate, the solar battery rebate, and the federal tax credit I can claim. I received a large check from Uncle Sam, and the other rebates have been cashed, too. I can monitor my solar battery and solar panels on the SolarEdge website. I have saved 5742 pounds of co2 emmisions. Some solar companies will send out a salesman. You get a certain rapport with him, but you'll never see him again. Other workers for the company then come and go. With Ariel, you talk to the main guy, the man who organizes all the work and workmen and deliveries. He shows up on site on most days. He will answer the phone and get back to you promptly. And he is very pleasant and caring. You owe it to yourself and your solar project to contact Ariel and see how he can make your solar dreams a reality. And, save money, too. read more

Extremely pleased with my solar system from Solar Price Discovery! Agonized over the process for the last few years. Multiple quotes and decisions to make. I finally met with the owner of Solar Price Discovery, with his knowledge and all the information provided. I found the company to work with. Went with a 28-panel system that should make our electric bill essentially zero. The installation crew was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly in explaining what they were doing. Excellent financing options! Thanks again! read more

Solar Price Discovery did a fantastic job. I had a previous solar company add panels but it wasn't enough panels to begin with because the bills were still high. Spoke to the representatives of Solar Price Discovery and they sat down and explained everything from the beginning to the end. I was hesitant at first because it would need an extra 14 or 15 panels. After they installed the remaining panels I was advised that it would cover around 95% of needed solar panels. Well I'm here to say that the extra panels made a huge difference. The electrical bills lately have come in at $5 a month and even at times it was zero dollars, believe it or not. I would definitely recommend Solar Price Discovery to anyone needing solar panels. Kudos to everyone. read more

Fast and efficient. They removed our old roof and installed a new one all within a week. Nice and professional.

I have recieved several quotes from various solar companies and Solar price Discovery gave me the best hands down!! Their customer service was impeccable, their rep answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about their product and what would be best suited for me. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is seriously thinking about solar installation as they clearly know what they're doing respond quickly and listen to your needs without being pushy or giving you the typical salesman speech which I cannot stand. hese guys were amazing. Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it. read more

I couldn't be happier with the Solar Price Discovery team! Ariel was there from our first meeting, through installation, and beyond. He tracked down a data transmission issue and fixed it promptly. His professionalism, personal attention, and follow-through were above and beyond what I expected. Their bid was reasonable and the final price was lower than the quote! The system works as promised and they have been diligent in checking in with us to make sure all is well. If you are going to "go solar" go Solar Price Discovery. read more

We had started interested in solar solutions about a year ago, it was after we got 2 months' enormous electric bill. We were looking for solar solution. We had interviewed few well-known companies, but we found out it all about sales approach. By mistake we mate Solar Price Discovery after they installed our neighbor solar system, we had decided to invited them in. Two guys come into our house, they represented themselves as educated engineers. We spent with them about 4 hours till we figured out that solar is something else than we had told before. They come out with a different approach consistent with transparency based on knowledge. We have our solar system installed for few months and we are confidence to recommend on the company. read more

I wondered what the name Solar Price Discovery meant when I called them, and now I know--it's when you discover that the price they gave you to win your business is almost 20% lower than the price they will do the job for. This was a classic bait and switch situation. Their initial bid for the roof (using a DaVinci single width shake) was $55,200. Unlike the competition, their bid was very thin on detail, which concerned me, but Yoan is a good salesman and convinced me that they could do the job well. I then asked them for a bid on a tile that was more expensive (both for material and labor); I knew from other bids that the difference should have been about $5000. Theirs came in at $71,000, and I told them I didn't want to spend that. They came back at $66,400, and I told them that it wasn't worth it for me, that I would just use the single width instead. It was then that he told me he actually couldn't do the single width for $55,200, that the price of the material had gone up in the mean time. When I asked him for the new price, he said he'd have to find out, but instead of waiting, "let's do the multi-width and I'll make $65k price for you." Now, it's worth mentioning at this point that this is not the way bids generally work. When a roofer gets a written bid from a supplier (which is what everyone else did) there's a 30 day guarantee on the price. Had Yoan gotten a written bid for the material in the first place (he claims that he didn't), neither he nor I would have been in this situation. So now the price for single width is $61,400, which based on what I heard from DaVinci, seemed high. But the DaVinci rep told me that there was another material that they didn't raise their price on which would look better than the single width anyhow. For my job, that should have made the bid $1000 less, but Yoan whined about how little margin he was making and so I agreed to the same price of $61,400. Yesterday, I hear from him by text first thing in the morning that he will order the tile and complete the contract that day. By the end of the day, at 5:45pm, I haven't heard from him and so I text him. "All good?" The response was "Could be better just got the final quote from ABC we are very very tight with the price.." I will cut to the chase here. He now wanted $65k to the job, the same price he gave me for the multi-width, which was far more expensive both for material and installation. He knew I was in a rush and he thought he had me over a barrel. Solar Price Discovery is exactly the kind of discovery you don't want to make--they are the most unprofessional contractor I have ever dealt with. read more

Everyone else told me no, solar is just not possible on a manufactured home. Ariel took the time to investigate and although the process is different, it is possible; My solar panels are proof of it. My house is the first in the mobile home park to have it. Ariel and Yoan were patient and explained the process every step of the way; from engineering to permits, then installation, even taking care of signing me up for net metering with the electric company. They even instructed me on how to take full advantage of the tax benefits. I am recommending Solar Price Discovery to all my neighbors. Taking the time to help me find alternative financing since traditional options were not accessible since we only lease the land was a game changer. They are true professionals AND gentlemen. read more

My experience with Solar Construction Price Discovery has been outstanding. For the past 3 months, major renovations have taken place at my house, including landscaping, a new roof, attic insulation replacement, added A/C, new furnace, removal of popcorn ceiling, new recessed lighting, removal of shag carpeting replaced by vinyl flooring, upgraded plumbing and wiring, interior painting and brand new kitchen and bathrooms. Alex, the project manager, did an excellent job scheduling the work each day. Each crew arrived on time and kept to the work at hand. The workers were respectful of my schedule as I was living in the house during the renovation. Everyone was friendly & trustworthy. I had no fear if leaving the house to run an errand. Alex would answer my questions and addressed my concerns. He also arranged the financing which was super helpful. I found Alex to be honest and caring. All work was done to Code with frequent inspections by the City. No short cuts were taken and I had confidence in the work performed by everyone. Despite the noise, dust and demolition, the transformation has been amazing. The house is like new, especially the new kitchen cabinets, appliances, lighting, island, quartz countertop, walk in pantry, new bathtub/shower, tile and sinks. Nimi did a great job with the design, and Jonathan was always on top with the follow up tasks with the contractors. I highly recommend Solar Construction Price Discovery for any remodeling jobs. I would not hesitate to use them again. I can now live comfortably in my retirement. read more

Solar Price Discovery was a great surprise. I received estimates from other solar panel companies and they came in way under the others. They also spent a lot of time explaining exactly what they'd do and how much it would cost. They were very patient, which was good since we were new to the solar energy game. They were prompt, courteous and kind. And it cost exactly what they said it would. Yoan Zagury is a pleasure to deal with. We are so happy we hired them. I can't recommend this company highly enough. read more
