Given that it was my first time buying a home and not knowing anything about permits and the procedure, Marat walked me through it. He advised that I needed to call LADWP to schedule an appointment with a tech who would mark the spot of the new meter. He then said once there is a meter spot, Marat will get to work --and he did immediately after I got the meter spot. In fact, Marat was there the next day! He worked on the panel for a couple of days, along with his son, and once he installed it, he took care of scheduling the appointment with LADBS. Since I saw how excellent Marat was as an electrician, I also had him install recess lighting in the living room, hallway, family room, and kitchen (amazing job) . I had him install 5 hardwired POE cameras throughout my house. And I also had him check all my GFCI outlets throughout the house and had him replace the ones not working. Scheduling with this company was incredibly frustrating. Communication was poor, and I repeatedly had to follow up just to confirm whether their technician was actually coming. The bigger issue? The electrical installation failed inspection, and I was subsequently quoted an additional $1,100-$1,300 to correct the issues. This was especially concerning because their company had performed the original electrical work. When I questioned why I should have to pay more to fix something that should have been installed correctly in the first place, they claimed their original work had passed inspection approximately five years earlier. I repeatedly asked them to provide the original inspection report to substantiate that claim. Despite multiple requests, they never provided any documentation. I also tried to give them the opportunity to explain the discrepancies, clarify what had gone wrong, and work toward a reasonable resolution. Instead, they stopped responding entirely. What bothers me most isn't just the additional expense. It's the lack of accountability, transparency, and customer service when a legitimate concern was raised. My advice: Get everything in writing, request copies of permits and inspection approvals, and don't assume that work was properly inspected just because a contractor tells you it was. The pressure to make an appointment was made immediately when I first called, little did I know, this was just the beginning of my terrible experience. I was assured over the phone that I could make an appointment and cancel at any time, only find out that there is a $99 fee, effectively locking me in. That alone set the tone for this downward spiral. When the technician arrived, the visit lasted approximately 15 minutes. No meaningful diagnostic process or repair was performed. I was led to believe they would install a dedicated circuit to properly address the issue, but instead I was told they supposedly "reconnected a loose wire." For this minimal effort, I was charged $450. The same day, the outlet tripped again, exactly as it had before. When I called to get help and tell them the outlet tripped again, they literally told me to press the reset button. I cannot believe they actually told me reset it when my original problem is that I have to constantly reset my outlet because there is a ground fault causing it to trip. I am posting a photo of the $450 troubleshoot estimate that does not disclose any details about the project that they basically tricked us into signing. If you work with this company, do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN. You can see for yourself they left the estimate blank intentionally to not actually bind them to any work. There was never any proof of repair, or proof of any problem that they were troubleshooting. When I called and expressed my concerns, the heartless owner basically shrugged off my concerns and told me if the technician had to return, it would be another $350 charge because it is a separate issue. This is quite unbelievable the amount of greed and lack of caring this company has for its customers. They do not care if the customer is satisfied and their only goal is to extract as much money from you as possible. I was told that if a technician returned, it would cost an additional $350 because it would be considered a "separate issue." There was no accountability, no attempt to stand behind their work, and no concern for resolving the problem they were hired to fix. What's worse is the ongoing experience after the visit. Despite delivering ineffective service, they continued to call and solicit additional work like telemarketers. Meanwhile, when I attempted to schedule a follow-up to actually resolve the original issue, it became difficult to even secure an appointment--as if my prior experience didn't matter. Their so-called guarantee is meaningless. Their communication is inconsistent. Their priorities are clear: maximize charges, minimize effort, and move on. I'm now left with a $450 bill, lost time coordinating around their schedule, and the exact same electrical issue I started with. This experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, technical integrity, and customer care. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. If I could give six stars I would!…read more I had an issue with my electrical panel with a test block was arcing. After I figured out what was wrong I started calling electricians in the area. Few of them told me that I would have to replace the entire panel, a few of them told me they couldn't come out for a few days, but when I got a hold of Chris says he can come the next morning. I sent him some pictures and he was able to quickly find the part and give me a quote. He showed up the next morning on time and completed the job pretty much in 30 minutes. I had my electricity back again. Chris is very friendly and easy to work with. He's honest and did a fantastic job. I referred him to a couple of my neighbors hopefully they hire him as well.
