I called Marat, told him I wanted a 200 electrical panel, and he was able to quote me with an excellent price by seeing a picture via text of the existing electrical panel. Given that it was my first time buying a home and not knowing anything about permits and the procedure, Marat walked me through it. He advised that I needed to call LADWP to schedule an appointment with a tech who would mark the spot of the new meter. He then said once there is a meter spot, Marat will get to work --and he did immediately after I got the meter spot. In fact, Marat was there the next day! He worked on the panel for a couple of days, along with his son, and once he installed it, he took care of scheduling the appointment with LADBS. Since I saw how excellent Marat was as an electrician, I also had him install recess lighting in the living room, hallway, family room, and kitchen (amazing job) . I had him install 5 hardwired POE cameras throughout my house. And I also had him check all my GFCI outlets throughout the house and had him replace the ones not working. Marat is not only the ultimate professional who excels at his craft, but he is also very nice and easy going. I highly recommend him for any electrical job.

They started the job and then at the end of the day left the job saying they needed parts. However, the sewage system was now completely non-functional for the next 3 days while we waited for parts. Wouldn't it have been a good idea to make sure you can put the electrical system back together before taking it apart? Guess not. So 3 days of no sewage use, and the electrician comes back with a used part (only to find out later that it was the same faulty part he took out from my system). Puts it in and says he finishes the job. The same problems came back (surprise) and within 3 days the sewage overflowed due to faulty electricals. I called other companies had initially provided an estimate(but then mistakenly went with American Electrical Service) and they showed me with pictures that the system looks the same as before. Nothing had been done. So what did I pay AES for? I spoke with the AES electrician and he offered me to go with another company and he would refund my money. So I hired another company who got the job done. After agreeing to return my money, the electrician in charge ghosted me and never responded. It has been over SIX MONTHS and nothing yet. This is not the first time I have dealt with unscrupulous contractors but I am surprised a 4+ star company on Yelp is this untrustworthy. I am taking the appropriate actions on this matter including contact with the licensing board, but want to warn others that this company is unethical, irresponsible, and in my opinion, crooks. I don't want to mention the electrician by name, but I personally would not work with Mike from American Electric Service. BE WARNED.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY!…read more After having issues with my breakers & electrical main panel from the new installation of my AC, II contacted a different electrician referral whom had never followed up on my text, after we initially spoke. The referral was located much further away, in fairness. My expectations became questionable.. Afterwards, I called Nexus Electric to try to get an estimate. Based upon the reviews & pictures, I figured it was worth a shot.. Yet, Ismael from Nexus Electric called me back within 20-30 minutes ready to listen, address my issues, and help with getting it resolved! I texted him photos of my jam packed electric panel & breakers. I explained I recently had the new AC installed. From the pics I texted, he helpfully mentioned it could be the straps for the breakers & was sending his techs out within the next few hours.. Ismael was friendly, professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable. His constant communication is on point. Most importantly, Nexus Electric is licensed & bonded to put your mind at ease.. The techs (Fernando & Jose) came and tested the main panel resistors & breakers. Adjusted the jam packed breakers & put everything back in order, after confirming all the electricity was working again. My AC contractor has already referred him new business bc he knows a reliable professional electrician is hard to find! Well earned Ismael; keep up the stellar service from the Nexus team..

We were first introduced to Ismael (the owner) and his team for our new solar panel installation and the experience was night and day compared to any other electrical contractor we've used! Their work was flawless, but what truly set them apart was their professionalism--they were prompt, communicative throughout the entire process, and clearly take immense pride in their craftsmanship. In fact, we were so impressed that we immediately hired them again to install the electrical for our smart toilet right after our solar panel was done. Once again, their service was first-rate, Ismael answered all of our questions, any concerns we had, meticously labeled both of our breaker boxes for our home and pool and spa breaker box and the quality of work was the best we've ever seen! Nexus Electric is now our go-to for everything. We are currently having Ismael replace our main electrical panel and install all the wiring for our pool and spa to ensure everything is updated and most importantly, safe! If you want a team that is professional, reliable, and does the highest quality work, call Nexus Electric. Ismael and his crew are simply the best in the business!

I contacted Prime Electric regarding a recurring issue with an electrical outlet that trips every…read moretwo hours. What started as a simple service request quickly turned into a frustrating and costly experience that ultimately left the original problem unresolved and far worse. The pressure to make an appointment was made immediately when I first called, little did I know, this was just the beginning of my terrible experience. I was assured over the phone that I could make an appointment and cancel at any time, only find out that there is a $99 fee, effectively locking me in. That alone set the tone for this downward spiral. When the technician arrived, the visit lasted approximately 15 minutes. No meaningful diagnostic process or repair was performed. I was led to believe they would install a dedicated circuit to properly address the issue, but instead I was told they supposedly "reconnected a loose wire." For this minimal effort, I was charged $450. The same day, the outlet tripped again, exactly as it had before. When I called to get help and tell them the outlet tripped again, they literally told me to press the reset button. I cannot believe they actually told me reset it when my original problem is that I have to constantly reset my outlet because there is a ground fault causing it to trip. I am posting a photo of the $450 troubleshoot estimate that does not disclose any details about the project that they basically tricked us into signing. If you work with this company, do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN. You can see for yourself they left the estimate blank intentionally to not actually bind them to any work. There was never any proof of repair, or proof of any problem that they were troubleshooting. When I called and expressed my concerns, the heartless owner basically shrugged off my concerns and told me if the technician had to return, it would be another $350 charge because it is a separate issue. This is quite unbelievable the amount of greed and lack of caring this company has for its customers. They do not care if the customer is satisfied and their only goal is to extract as much money from you as possible. I was told that if a technician returned, it would cost an additional $350 because it would be considered a "separate issue." There was no accountability, no attempt to stand behind their work, and no concern for resolving the problem they were hired to fix. What's worse is the ongoing experience after the visit. Despite delivering ineffective service, they continued to call and solicit additional work like telemarketers. Meanwhile, when I attempted to schedule a follow-up to actually resolve the original issue, it became difficult to even secure an appointment--as if my prior experience didn't matter. Their so-called guarantee is meaningless. Their communication is inconsistent. Their priorities are clear: maximize charges, minimize effort, and move on. I'm now left with a $450 bill, lost time coordinating around their schedule, and the exact same electrical issue I started with. This experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, technical integrity, and customer care. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Their guarantee is worthless, their word is worthless, and now I'm stuck with a $450 bill, hours of time, effort and planning my office operations around their schedule and I still have my original problem left unresolved. Thank you for absolutely nothing and wasting my time
