Like many Burbankers living in a 70-year-old fixer, turning on the iron and the toaster oven at the same time was an iffy proposition. It was electric panel replacement time, as my old fuse box was straight out of The Shining. Having no power one day, I found Burbank Electric on nextdoor.com, where Wayne + crew were recommended 10x more than anybody else. That same day, Wayne appeared with a fix to get the power back on while we plotted a new panel replacement. It's not cheap, but you are only going to do it once. Wayne pulled all the permits, handled the inspections, and did a seamless job. Now I can turn everything on at once. Many of the the "Yelp-sponsored" electricians (there are 18) are not even in Burbank, and dispatch from some other location. Go with a local superstar who has probably already done work on your street. Wayne's been back to my place for minor stuff, exactly as scheduled. He's also the nicest guy in Burbank. Electrical problems? Dry your tears and call this guy!

He then said no need to pay the $95 fee and said no one will do my work for his original quoted price. I called licensed electrician: Ken Electrical, Inc. and he quoted me 1/3 of the price and he came back to check everything was ok for free. In-n-out electric should of just took my money and not argued over a foot-3feet of electrical wire.

One couldn't come out for almost two weeks, one never responded, and one was Flash Gordon Electric. Lonny from Flash Gordon was able to come out the next day. He is very friendly and personable. He tested several outlets and wires including fixing a couple of weirdly wired outlets. He also replaced half a dozen of the old (pre-1990) outlets including a couple outlets that were original to the 1970s when room was added. It was affordable and done in under two hours. Would definitely recommend them for future work.

As soon as the two electricians came by, they got to work by taking the fan up into the attic, finding a good enough power source to create an additional line, and were finished within an hour or so. They were all business, in and out, very efficient. Not very personable, but they did communicate their efforts without running into any difficulties. Definitely Experienced electricians. I would surely recommend this business if you need something installed --and don't want to go through the business of wasting a morning talking to someone else, who will charge you more. A team member came out before they sent their estimate to view the location of the project so they could offer an accurate estimate. No other company was interested in looking at the property first. Once we found a day that worked for both of us, they arrived on time and did the job. They cleaned up after themselves, and it passed the inspection easily. There was one miscommunication regarding an item listed on the estimate that was not included in the final project. It listed that the permit and inspection with LADBS was included, which was why I went with them, but afterward Vilyam said that was a mistake. I did not confirm it before they started the job, so I will take responsibility for that. It was easy to obtain the permit and inspection on my own, so it wasn't a big deal.

We needed a complete electric rewire of an…read moreolder home we just bought so we had multiple electric companies come by to do an inspection and to give us a quote. The technician who came by was pleasant, but when he heard we wanted a complete rewire, he did not even inspect the property or the amp panel. He just ballparked us a random number that made absolutely no sense. It was when I asked him to do an inspection to review the scope of work that he half heartedly opened a few outlets and said "ok, we're just going to replace them." In the end he gave me a quote verbally and never even sent me an actual quote that was promised. I would be extremely careful working with this company or choosing them for any high level electric work. If you review them on BBB or the California licensing board, you'll see that the owner is C-10 licensed but his workers are contractors who are working under his license. In comparing them to other electric companies in SGV in which the workers are licensed, this company uses just random contractors so the quality of your work varies.
