Great company and great service! We installed our roof and solar system a few months ago and I was waiting for a few months to pass before posting this review. Everything looks amazing, we passed the first rain with no problems and the system is working as promised. I also wanted to point out that we received a great price compared to other estimates we received and for good quality work and materials. Definitely will recommend! read more

I was contacted by Lisa from Solar Discovery. I have been a customer for years, and they informed me my system was not working properly. Lisa made it so easy and convenient for a same day appointment to come out and resolve the problem. Within a couple of hours, Lisa had a crew out to my residence and fixed and replaced the inverter. The technicians were friendly and very efficient in fixing my system. I would like to thank Lisa and her team they amazing read more

Solar discovery did a fantastic job in recovering an abandoned project initiated by Loyal Energy through American Solar Advantage in Chino. Solar discovery picked up the pieces, took the project through final inspection and the SCE quagmire to interconnection. Lisa was attentive, empathetic and positive throughout an ugly process with City and Edison. All the folks who were involved with the site visits and installation were friendly and knowledgeable. They showed up on time and were totally customer focused. I cannot say enough about the quality of this company. read more

I was given a referral by a good neighbor and friend. So I reached out for a quote and spoke to a woman that we very helpful and she had a technical sales person to return my call the same day. I spoke with Ariel, the Sales Person that was so knowledgeable about Solar and had a strong technical background. He approached our call by taking the time to explain to me the advantages of Solar for my home. He reviewed by electric bill and bisected it by usage by hour and day. He helped me to understand how to get the best savings for my investment in solar. He far exceeded the other solar companies marketing sales reps in understanding and explaining Solar to me. I recommend that speak with Solar Discovery before you make your final decision. read more

Amazing service!! Prompt and attentive to the detail! Highly recommend!! The communication and hands-on style by Lisa are simply superb!!

We initially almost went with one of those door to door salesman, but ultimately decided against it. Then, we started researching going Solar again and came across Solar Price Discovery. They were absolutely great to work with and we are so happy we chose them to install our Solar. The whole team was so knowledgeable and professional, from the sales team to the engineers, and on to the owners. The price was very good and the product has been superb. They sent a detailed proposal customized to your home and energy needs detailing exactly how much power you use, how much the panels can be expected to produce, how much money you would save each month, a rough estimate of how many years/months you can expect to break even, and the final cost of the system and installation. Everything is transparent and upfront. They setup all the paperwork and file everything for you. They were really fast and efficient and got us up and running with our utility company really quickly. We had an issue with one of our breakers after the installation, and as soon as I let them know they sent an electrician out the next day and fixed it right away. I highly recommend this company if you're thinking about Solar. There won't be any pressure, just reach out and they can help you. With rising energy costs and the tax incentives that come with Solar, it's a good time right now. read more

Great Company, great experience. I worked with Ariel and he was responsive and is extremely knowledgable. He helped me figure out the right configuration and helped strategize on how to lower the overall cost of our electric bill. After a year, I checked in with him and he got on a zoom and he went through my usage numbers and helped me better understand my complicated electric bill. I highly reccomend Solar Discovery. read more

I have a small 2 bdrm / 1 bath single family home and after taking a loan we wanted to do a few improvments which one of them was installing a solar system. Ariel from Solar Price Discovery was one of the 5 companies I called for an estimate quote. He came onsite and gave me an estimate that was almost three thousand dollars less than my best offer while matching the *same* equipment that I had been quoted for. He did something that no one else did and it's taking the time to explain in very details and answered all my questions and on how this product and services really works. When we were done talking, I knew I will go with Ariel and Solar Price Discovery. It wasn't only the money, it was just that it felt as if he would do a great job. Ariel personally attended the installation as well as the day after and answered any question I had. He even helped us with a tree that dropped a shadow on our roof and he trimmed it. Once it was all completed and done I immediately  noticed a $150 less on my bill - exactly like he said What an amazing company with excellent products and super customer service. Impressive. I've already contacted him for another solar installation on my home in Santa Monica. Solar Price Discovery treats you with respect and care but above all, integrity is first! You will be impressed. read more

Solar companies make me cringe. I found Solar Discovery on a google search. Prior to calling Solar Discovery I spent hours dealing with solar edge, and the original installer of the house just purchased. It has been the most miserable experience. I give Solar Discovery a call and Lisa answers the phone. This girl is a GEM. She was able to register my system to my address, something the installer never did and wouldn't do despite a $300 visit to power cycle my unit. She was also able to start working on a quote to move my inverter and add panels to my roof, just by looking at my system remotely and pictures of the area and roof. If their work is as good as Lisa's service, Solar Discovery is my go to ALWAYS! read more

This is a great company. Our solar company went bankrupt. Solar discovery helped us when no other company would. We spoke to Lisa she was very up to date solar questions she was very kind and helpful she made me feel secure about having solar. Solar Discovery - Solar installations in my house - Solar Installation Near Me - Northridge, California

Absolutely the best decision we could've made when deciding to go solar. Ariel and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, efficient, honest, kind and reliable. The panels look aesthetically great and are operating perfectly. My parents also had solar installed with Ariel and had the same experience. On top of everything, their pricing is very competitive. Solar Discovery saved me after my installer went out of business 3 years into my solar journey and my panels stopped working. They had to troubleshoot multiple problems and replace multiple parts. Let me start this review by saying Thank you Solar Price Discovery. Going into this project I have heard many things about solar installations gone bad or people overpaying for the panels, so I was extra cautious and really did my due diligence before choosing a company. To make a long story short, I could not be happier with this company, they are reliable, professional and reasonably priced. The team was also very passionate about solar and that was evident throughout the entire project and resulted in great workmanship and attention to detail. I am excited about the results and would highly recommend them. read more

Had them install our solar panels 4 months ago, and so glad we switched to Solar and went with Solar Discovery. They are also GAF certified roofers, which allowed us to maintain our roof warranty. I have a great experience working with them!!!!! Recently I figured out that my solar system does not work and I contacted with manufacturer they told me that inveritutor does not work and they recommend to contact with the company who installed the system but unfortunately they are out of business, after several useless calls to the companies I contacted with Solar Discovery, Lisa, Client Services Associate, was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful, she coordinated everything at one's, explained the whole process, ordered new inverter from manufacturer(free) , gave the lowest replacement price and as soon as everything arrived she figured out that there is a rebate on it and I ended up paying even less for installation. I can not recommend this business more! Really great experience!! Thank you Lisa and staff!!! read more

So my wife and I decided to get solar in time for the rebates. And I have a plug-in hybrid. And just like the environmental benefit. After a number of other estimates and meeting with various contractors, we chose SPD. Yoan and his team were great. Solid communication, timely installation, and very professional. We've been up and running for two months now and we're very happy. If you are interested in solar, I highly recommend SPD. read more

After over a year of educating ourselves and researching solar companies we decided to go with Solar Price Discovery. We are so happy that we did! Ariel and his team were professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. We had them install a new roof as well as solar panels. The project came in on budget and on time. Everything was clearly explained to us at each step and it was clear that everyone working on our project cared about the details and the quality of the product and support we received. We recommend Solar Price Discovery to anyone looking to go solar. read more

Ariel and his technical team are all very personable, knowledgeable, and explained everything along the way. Out of the 15 companies I contacted Ariel & Team, at Solar Price Discovery, have by Far, the best customer service of the local solar companies. I have already referred their company to 2 other people. Here is the reason I had to contact 15 companies. I had My solar system installed in 2018 by Peterson Dean, who has filed bankruptcy and no longer in business. Since then, my Solar Edge inverter quit monitoring and was told the 3G communications card needed to be upgraded to 4G (at my expense). I then received a notification from LG, my battery was on a recall and would be replaced. 6 month into the wait, my backup system quit working. During this time, I attempted to contact no less than 15 solar companies Large and small. Most I could not get a live person, and never received a call back. The 2 -3 companies I got to a real person said they would not work on a system they did not install. Even companies that were factory authorized to work on Solar Edge and LG products. Finally I reached out to Solar Price Discovery, Inc., I got through to Arial, explained my problem and he had his technician our 2-days later. They checked the inverter, and the new battery, removed the 3g cell card and added a Wi-Fi, receiver for the communications. They discovered the invertor had several error codes that could not be corrected, so they contacted Solar Edge, and got approval to replace the whole inverter. As soon as they received the new inverter, they came back out replaced the inverter, re-programed the backup system and for the next 2- weeks monitored and adjusted my system. 5-STARS for excellent workmanship and awesome customer service. read more

I had researched for years different solar companies. Tesla being one of them. I read many reviews and interviewed several companies. Solar Price Discovery was the one that I went with because Ariel my rep was knowledgeable, informative and really cares. Things that are important to me. The price was not cheap or expensive just where I had expected it to be.. The crews were prompt, courteous and more importantly knew what they were doing. I live in Burbank which has its own set of construction rules but Ariel met the challenges that the city set forth. I passed inspections with no issues. If you want an honest, caring, company that responses to your every question or concern than I highly recommend Solar Price Discovery. Ariel has the patience of a saint and the knowledge of a genius. Good luck! read more

They were prompt, professional and very competent. They were not my original installers but they took ownership of my solar problem and fixed it. Every person I came into contact with were real professionals. I can not say enough good things...these folks are FANTASTIC!!! read more

I cannot speak enough about LISA who took care of our very complex and confusing situation. Like most fly by night operations (trust me the warranty is meaningless as they wont be around to honor it) unless you find someone like Lisa who was able to get a brand new battery out of LG and get our modem working again. Kudos to Solar Discovery for having Lisa and the technical staff who took care of our 5 month old problem that no one wanted to touch. read more

I have been dealing with solar issues for sometime now due to my original installer leaving me hanging with a temper mental system. I fortunately was referred to Solar Price Discovery installers who so far have been extremely informative and responsive. They solved and repaired one of my issues and gave me a plan to rectify the others. I highly recommend this company. read more

This is an awesome Company. Lisa is wonderful to deal with. She gets right back to you. Every suggestion she makes is right on. Took over when Petersen Dean went out of business. Over and above all 17 companies Solar Edge gave me to check out Many would not have anything to do with another Company that put in solar (or were out of business). Even though the inverters and their SD cards all come from Solar Edge. Solar Edge has the warranty on most inverters. Lisa assisted in making sure they lived up to the warranty They didn't want to send the SD card which is warrantied for 5yrs when our inverter went out just before 5yrs it's an additional $600. Solar Edge hedged a bit but she handled it. She even made sure they paid for part of the service fee to install the battery and told us how to get around the SD card. Which will prevent us from ever having to buy one when the inverter goes out again. After the warranty is up the inverter costs approximately $6,000 when it goes out. Great Company. read more

We had our solar installed with Solar Price Discovery a couple of years ago. Not only was Ariel so accommodating and friendly, he really worked with my husband and I to find something that fit our needs. Recently we had a question regarding the finance we took out on the solar. I called the main line and immediately received a call back from Ariel saying that he'd check on this for us. By the end of the day, our questions had been answered, and I received an email with all the details I needed to more than adequately answer our questions. Even after all this time, Ariel remembered exactly who I was and was so genuine about getting the help we needed. It's amazing to have this type of interpersonal relationship with a company...we were so happy with them when we installed our solar and continue to be impressed by the amazing customer service we receive to this day. We highly recommend using them if you are looking to install solar on your home! read more

We started the installation with them after getting 3-4 estimates from other companies. We didn't feel really comfortable with any of them as it was clear they all tried selling us stuff we didn't need! Solar Price kept in touch with us through the whole time and their panel install team was just great. They made it easy. It's been a pleasure working with Ariel @ SPD. Everyone we came in touch with was helpful and fast to respond. Call them for an estimate and see the difference read more

I had a great experience with Ariel at Solar Price Discovery with my recent solar purchase. Ariel did a great job explaining everything, including giving me a full accounting of my expected savings, and how to get the best bang for my buck (I went with Panasonic panels). His team was able to install the system and (more importantly) get LADWP to connect it extremely quickly (which is not always the case with solar companies). I wanted to make sure I was able to get the full federal tax credit, and Ariel committed to getting it connected before the deadline, and delivered. The system is working great, and I'm excited to get my first electric bill post-solar. I would highly recommend Ariel and Solar Price Discovery! read more

We installed our system years ago with another company that has since gone out of business. After noticing we were missing a panel on our online monitoring, we called around looking for a company to come and fix our issue. Most companies don't want to work on a system that they didn't install, but Lisa at Solar Discovery was so responsive and helpful I felt like I was a customer already. She was quick to contact the manufacturer to be able to look into our system and as soon as she could see what was going on, she sent a technician right out to fix. They worked through the problem and took almost every panel off to re-label and organize the system since we discovered it was off from the original installers. They even discovered one of the panels wasn't hooked up correctly! Lisa and Solar Discovery were amazing in troubleshooting a system they didn't install. While I hope to not have any more issues with my system, I know I am in good hands sticking with Solar Discovery! read more

After requesting quotes from multiple companies, I choose Solar Discovery to install solar on both an ADU we were building and our main house. I worked primarily with Ben, and he was extremely helpful both in the beginning of the process at explaining all the different factors to consider with our job and throughout the installation process in helping coordinate things. Our job was a little more complicated because we were wanting to install solar on the ADU which was under construction and our main house. We were also having our electrical panel upgraded. They installed the panels on the main house immediately and were patient when there were delays due to weather on when we were ready to have them install on the ADU. Ben and Ariel were always available for questions and kept us updated on all aspects of the project. Everyone was fast, knowledgable and polite. I would definitely recommend them for any solar installation! read more
