If you want a company that rips you off and don't know what they're doing Evergreen solar is for you they put my solar panels in a year and a half ago and they still don't work right I got pictures to prove it I go back and forth text messages from them and me asking them to fix my system they're incapable they got their electrical license in a Cracker Jack box I don't see how they're still in business I would run from this company don't get ripped off a year and a half later really wow

I am writing this because I had solar panels for 3 years from a previous company and they never answered my calls when I needed them. I felt stranded ! I had a true up bill of $600-$1000 a year. Shane helped me by adding 12 panels. Ever since i got them I pay pgne ONLY grid ! :) Finally technology has advanced Im thankful for feeling like I saved money and made a difference in the environment. My main concern was having my voice heard, and when the panel stopped receiving a signal once, I called them and they came out with a service tech and repaired it the next day!I am a satisfied! Deff recc them!

I had been considering going solar for a while, but I have always been hesitant because I truly didn't know if it would be worth the hassle. I got to speak to Mike, who came to my house, and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he made the whole process easy for me. It took about a week from the initial consultation to have the solar panels installed, since the installation I'm saving money every month on my electric bill which has turned to practically nothing. I do want to see the difference it makes during the summer because that is when my bill spikes the most. But so far it is great! I also want to point out this was not the only solar company I looked at/spoke to... but they offered the best prices and equipment to go along with it. They provide great warranty and the panels are the ones with micro inverters which was explained to me so if one panel does go out the system stays running and only that panel would have to be replaced. Luckily I have not run into that problem but it definitely makes me feel more secure with the system. From the convenience cost and investment I think solar is a must for anyone that owns a home and I highly recommend Evergreen Solar to anyone considering switching to solar

Their quote, plus their high reviews made them the logical choice, and we have no regrets. From the person who did the site inspection, Jose, to the installers, everyone seemed very friendly, respectful of our property/wishes, and it was clear they were experienced and knew what they were doing. Being up against a deadline, we really couldn't afford to fail the city inspection, and we passed easily. Thanks to the salesman Mark Howe for his direction, & to Henry Melling for a great design and implementation. We were not excited at the idea of having all that stuff on the side of our house, but honestly, the installation was so neatly done, with a few plants added over there, I'm sure we can acclimate. The battery placement in the garage was genius -- up and out of our way! Everything is functioning as it should, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend California Solar & Electric. THANKS to them for a job well done, and ON TIME!! We couldn't be happier.

DroneQuote and Energysage were the first outfits I reached out to. Multiple quotes (7 to be exact), some conversations and submitting my LADWP bills to all. Now I heard that 4/15/23 was a deadline date where the electric companies (i.e. So. Cal Edison) would claw back rebates for credits, and everyone I spoke with said yes that is true, so I felt some urgency to this get this done. After getting the quotes and the multiple communications from these outfits, I went to Yelp to see what my community had to say, Lord, Help me, I'm glad I did (saved over $20K). A shout out to Paul S. of Torrance. His review turned me on to Cali Energy and Maria, as they were not included in the companies referred to me, and I had not heard of them. I was so impressed with his detailed review, and even though I had not heard of this company, I made a phone call and asked for Maria. She took all my information and told me that my electric company LADWP was not part of the deadline. WOW! I could have just waited to move forward, but I was sold on her honesty! You can't get any better than that! She scheduled her tech to come out to do a detailed job walk within the next couple days. And, boy, I was really impressed with him. He happened to to be a close relative, and I liked that, a close family owned company. Long story short, after I awarded them the contact, she was able to get the permit in a couple days, and schedule the installation date the very next week. I was thinking several weeks, but that was fast. Their crew came out and installed all 24 panels in 11 hours, a very long day. Then the final crew came out to finalize the pieces and get ready for inspection. All went well and LADWP came out to install the final roof connection. A week later a LADWP tech come out to remove my old meter and install the new solar meter. All this took 3 weeks! Maria was in constant communication with me by text (which I prefer) and updated me on all aspects of the installation. I waited a month to post, so I could see how the system was performing. The Enphase software is spot on, in real time reporting, in all the aspects regrading my consumption and production (software is free). I received my first electrical bill (today) and even through it has been only one month (out of a two month cycle), my bill has decreased 86% (any number you put in can compute the difference). After a full 2 month cycle, LADWP will be owing me money! OK, I'm done. It takes me a while to write these reviews and include pictures, but when a company preforms above and beyond expections, it is only fair that I spend 45 mins or so to help my Yelp community. Thanks again Paul S.

TL;DR: Rose is incredible. Honest, patient, actually knows solar and is not just a salesperson. She…read morewill answer every single question you may have and follows up. Has a professional installation crew and executes flawlessly and everything stays on track. Incredible follow-up and will not try to upsell you like other installers. If you're looking to install solar, you should absolutely go with OneSun. Give Rose a call to at least get a consultation and I'm sure your interaction will immediately stand out from other installers. Installing solar is something I kept putting off. When I found out that the tax credit would be going away at the end of 2025, I realized I couldn't put it off any longer. One of the reasons I kept waiting was how annoying solar reps were. Clearly just sales guys who didn't actually know anything about the equipment, technology, and process. I did a bit of research on local installers and OneSun came up a few times, all with nothing but great things to say and especially highlighted the installer's knowledge and patience. Before reaching out to OneSun, I informed myself as much as I could to the point that I knew what panels I wanted, size system, even what inverters I wanted installed. My first phone call with Rose immediately proved that all of the positive feedback I had read was for a reason. She took the time to actually listen to the specifics of my project, what I was looking for, and what questions I still had based on my research. She took the time to answer every question and even went into the technical details that I was interested in. It was clear that she was extremely familiar with not just the logistics, but also exactly how a solar system works as well as the technical details of all of the components in a system. She had my business after that first meeting but of course I still did my due diligence and got a quote from one other local installer which also had similar reviews. Although the sales rep was very nice, it was clear that he was just a sales rep and only reinforced why OneSun was the installer to go with. OneSun's pricing happened to be better but even if the other installer would have come in at a cheaper quote, I would have still chosen OneSun for the install. Rose started the permit process in July and made sure that everything stayed on track, especially since I wanted to make sure that the system be on before the end of the year in order to qualify for the tax credit. The timelines she provided were right on point and the install was scheduled for September. About a week before the install date, there was an unexpected problem. The panels that were originally planned for my install had gone completely out of stock. There had been some kind of manufacturing issue and those panel would not be coming back in stock for another couple of months which could push the project out to the following year. Rose let me know she could acquire slightly larger panels for the project and install it on schedule. I was about to ask what the additional cost for the larger panels would be, but before I was able to, she let me know that there would be no additional cost to me. I'm sure any other installer would have used the situation as leverage to add additional cost to the project. A testament to Rose's commitment to her customers. On installation day, the crew was professional and efficient. They completed everything in one day and made sure to keep everything as clean and organized as possible. Towards the end of the install, I had noticed that they ran one of the grounding wires out from the attic and down the face of the house where I had planned on completing another project in the near future. I knew that the wire would need to be redirected if it was left there so I asked the foreman if he could run it through a different path. Initially he felt like it would not be possible given the layout. I reached out to Rose just to make sure and see if she possibly had another solution. About 10 minutes later the foreman showed me another possible option which was much better for what I needed. It may have seemed like a small thing, but that was another instance in which I believe any other installer would have dismissed my request as pickiness and told me there was nothing else they could do. Rose took the time to speak with her foreman and truly assessed the situation to come up with a solution that fit my needs. It took LADWP about 6 weeks to get my meter installed and for my system to be turned on, but it was still well before the end of the year (and yes, I just got my tax refund with that hefty solar tax credit). It's rare to come across someone like Rose who is honest, patient, and who truly has her customer's best interest at heart. Combine that with impeccable execution and communication, and there is no one else I would recommend for a solar install project. In fact, my parents are considering a small project and I've already told them about Rose/OneSun.

When I first contemplated getting solar panels for our house, the entire process looked daunting. I…read moredidn't know anything about the technology or equipment and I felt ill prepared to make any decisions about what our house needed. There are so many companies out there, it's hard to know who to trust. As soon as I did a few online searches, I was flooded with emails and texts from multiple companies with high pressure sales pitches. One company charged me $350 to do a site survey, just to get a quote for the project, then came back with a revised quote adding $7000 to dig a trench for electrical wiring due to "the location" of our electrical panel. I found OneSun on a yelp search and as soon as I spoke with Rose Avakian, I knew my search was over. This company stands out from the others. There was no sales pitch, pressure, or upsell. Rose explained the technology and equipment in a way that made it understandable and approachable. When her team came to look at our place, they found no need to dig a trench and simply connected to our existing electrical panel. Had they needed to dig a trench, the price they quoted was nowhere near $7000.  From start to finish, the entire experience was transparent, seamless, professional and expedient. The attention to detail and care the team put into making sure everything was done right far exceeded my expectations. If you're looking to go solar, look no further than Rose and OneSun. This is truly the best company I've ever worked with!
