However, if anyone is thinking of Grow…read moreand Control, do give them a chance as Jesus had been nothing but professional during our entire interaction. Prompt followup, prompt responses, no pressure. If it was in my budget, I really would have given them a chance on their professionalism alone. I didn't have to 'chase' responses. They came timely. Not overwhelming. They have a very comprehensive price breakdown and payment schedule, so payment isn't all upfront but in increments as the job is completed. Even declining they remained professional. Thank you again Jesus for your patience! I wish you and your company success for the excellent customer service.

Sadly, based on this, I do not think I'm going to try a third time if I cannot even get them to call me for an estimate. This is not a good start. Also, the phone number on Yelp does not match the phone number on Google. The phone number on Yelp goes to a busy signal. Sad that I have to let this opportunity go by. I also wasted some time hoping that I was going to get an estimate by them this week.

He also installed a pressure relief valve while he was at it, which I hadn't thought to ask about but he flagged as something worth doing given the issue we had. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what was going on in a way that actually made sense, and got the repair done without any drama. The valve install was a nice touch since it should help prevent the same kind of failure down the road. Fair pricing, showed up when he said he would, and cleaned up after himself. I'd call Javier again for any irrigation work without hesitation.

He was very confusing about payments and spontaneous about what time or day he can do the job.. I put down a deposit in cash, he called me randomly to say he is free to swing by. Very naggy and pushy behavior. Not professional.

He was…read moreable to schedule me for the following week, arrived right on time, and was professional and easy to communicate with from the start. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He took the time to pull the weeds growing between the decorative rocks around our pool area, which is a high-traffic spot that has always bothered me and was often overlooked by previous gardeners. He didn't just do a quick surface-level cleanup--he was thorough, and the difference is noticeable. My front and backyard look so much cleaner and better cared for. He was also completely comfortable working around our chickens and rooster, which was a big plus for us. I'm very happy with his work and am looking forward to continuing with monthly service. I would definitely recommend Ignacio to anyone looking for someone reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

Manuel is not reliable or honest. The first yard job was done well, trim hedges and clean up weeds…read moreon the front lawn. The second time was terrible. $200 for 20 minutes of incomplete work and a trashed garden. He lied about the price for work, discussed in weeks prior in person and by text. On the day he showed up, he said he would not do it without more money. This was to remove an existing pile of dead branches. I said don't cut the roses, and they were ruined. He actually ripped out a small rose bush and hid it in the trash. Grass cutting and branches left everywhere, debris blown not raked up. There are now sharp stems from weeds on every lawn, some 5" tall. Dangerous to step on. Photos don't lie. We now have days of work to clean up the disaster left behind. Don't hire Manuel, the first and second visits were clearly a bait and switch.

My wife and I recently chose Joel to complete a long overdue landscaping project for our front and…read moreback yard and we are beyond happy with the result. Our project consisted of pouring 2 concrete slabs (1 along the side of the house and a second in the backyard), planting a boarder trim, and installing sprinkler systems in our back and front yard. Joel and crew completed all parts of this project with attention to detail and communicated effectively throughout. First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout out to the team lead managing the concrete part of our project. His attention to detail in recommending ideal drain setups in the sections where water had pooled in the past are exactly why we went Joel - we want to do things right the first time. After chatting with Joel, we installed the recommended drains, preventing a potentially expensive fix down the road. The rest of the project was completed with professionalism and Joel was great in communicating and working with our needs. Our one constructive feedback is that we did not receive a mock-up of the project before work was underway. We had a few last minute changes (the width of the trim around the backyard and the size of the mulch area in the front yard), but Joel & team communicated effectively and worked with us to make sure our needs were taken care of. All in all, we are so happy with our completed project. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and our new back/front yard makes us confident that we made the correct choice in choosing Joel for our project. Thank you!

BRING ON THE SUPER EL NINO!…read more Joel and Sons recently completed a much overdue project at our home. For years, our outside drains were clogged, and I found myself setting up pumps during the storms to get the pools of water away from our home. Every year, I would tell myself that I would get the drains cleared. Before the rains came this past winter, I hired a company to hydro jet the pipes. They tried to clear the drains, but because they were so clogged, their equipment failed. Again, I was setting up the pumps during the rain storm. So, I researched and found Joel and Sons. I met Joel and he examined our front/back yards. He gave an excellent and fair estimate that would fix the drainage problems. Throughought the entire project, Joel sent videos of the work being performed. He and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't have any future issues. I am so impressed by Joel and Sons, and I will call them again for future projects. More importantly, I will make referrals to my family and friends.
