I had originally went to "xtreme tint and audio" to get tint and amp/subwoofer install for my 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Long story short there was definitely a problem with the install. Every time I would accelerate passed 1000 rpm the subwoofer would go off . I took it back and was told my car was "too new" therefore they couldn't determine the problem and they refused to issue a refund citing that it was the cars problem and not the install. Stuck and frustrated I decided to try Soho Audio. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and asked how I could be assisted by Oscar. He went outside with me and heard the issue, he got Duane the owner involved as Duane has been in car audio for 30+ years. They stayed working on it for hours. They asked if I could swing by in the morning as it was getting dark. As promised I came back and they worked and troubleshot the issue for hours on end. They even contacted a sound engineer in California for assistance. They finally found the issue. For all the hours of work and trouble I was only charged the original quoted price of $30.00. Throughout the hours of work I got to hang out with the techs and owner, they are very friendly and we quickly built a great rapport. They took their time and it was evident that they care about what they do. I also ended up purchasing mids and highs, installed for 120. All in all I only spent $150. Not too shabby. I highly recommend anyone looking for stellar customer service and great prices to skip the other places in El Paso and go to Soho Audio. read more

I want to write a quick review on the professionalism demonstrated at Soho. I brought in a new 2015 Focus ST that was ABSOLUTLEY butchered at another car audio shop on Dyer. Not to mention any names but the sub par quality and hack job install was far from OK. My brand new cars electronics were damaged to the point where sensors and computer malfunction become a nuisance. After researching Yelp, I found Soho. I brought my car in and they were more then helpful in getting things right. Hats off to Alex on his installation which he did professionally, rewiring my car completely, speakers, and amps. He took his time and fixed everything that was wrong and used only quality wire. No electrical tape and cheap wire here! All work was professional using quality wire. The finished product was crimped, soldered, solid, and neat. Alex took his time and takes pride in his work ensuring the customer satisfaction. This quality of work and service is sadly rare in El Paso. Mundo, the manager was extremely helpfu suggesting just the right touches to tie in needed components to make it all come together. I also had a chance to meet the owner. Very polite, welcoming, and struck me as almost engineer smart when it comes to electronics. So to anyone reading this, If you care about your vehicle and want the best for your ride in El Paso, do your self a favor and give Soho a call. Scott at Soho was extremely friendly and easy to work with, and sharp! They (and he) know their car audio. I tried them because of the stellar Yelp ratings and decided to see for myself. I think I saved $300 on parts alone by going to Soho, compared to other car audio dealers whose radio advertisements are frequent here. And if I talk labor savings over what those other guys would've charged me, there goes even more money. If you want GOOD car audio/satellite/nav, and even if your car is a 2015 (ie brand spankin; new) model with difficult cabling and dash installation issues, check Soho. You'll get straight-shootin' information, not biased toward pushing one product over another onto you. Soho seems genuinely interested in delivering a total satisfaction end-user experience, even if it means them spending extra time and money adapting to tricky cars like mine. I can't say there's a more honest, no gimmicks, no hidden fees, plain good people than the folks at Soho. I have literally never done a single review in my life. However this is by far one of the best experiences as any customer of any sort ever. Walked in with a sub and amp asking if they could do an install. Pete was the man behind the counter and instantly said to come around the back for it. Told me the necessary products along with a great price. I agreed and he started working, he kept me in the loop and was very knowledgeable about his profession. One thing leads to another, I am there for a couple hours. Now I have Pete and another fellow associate, Mel, working with one another on my vehicle. Recommended I needed a new amp due to trouble shooting my system as my sub was not getting enough power. Only to find out I did not need it, so they removed the sub and provided the correct solution which was a voltage amplifier I believe. They finished installation and tuned the system. Down to Earth , outstanding customer service, prices cannot be bet anywhere in El Paso. I'm new to El Paso and didn't have a very good welcome to the city. My car was burglarized, my stereo, subwoofers and amps where stolen. Called my insurance who referred to the Car Audio Sounds on Ft Bliss. What a bunch of crap there service awful! Did my research found Soho Audio and spoke with Dywane. I didn't know what to expect at first. Let's just said it was the best decision I made.
