Audio Express

**DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND POSSIBLY YOUR CAR.**…read more I brought Audio Express brand-new Skar Audio equipment, still untouched in the boxes, for installation. Within roughly 30 minutes, I was told my amplifier was "smoking." I don't know much about car audio, so I trusted them and purchased another amplifier from the store for $230 just to get my system working. After waiting over 3 HOURS for the installation, I finally left. Before I even got home, the bass stopped working. I brought the car back the next day. Less than 30 minutes later, I was told my BRAND-NEW Skar subwoofers were faulty too. So somehow my brand-new amplifier AND both brand-new subwoofers were supposedly bad. Instead of wasting even more money, I got a second opinion from West Texas Tint & Audio. They tested my equipment and told me it was WORKING PERFECTLY. They also found that Audio Express had wired my amplifier and subwoofers INCORRECTLY. And it gets worse: when Audio Express removed my equipment, they left exposed wiring in my vehicle. West Texas Tint & Audio warned me that touching those wires could potentially cause a short, damage my system, or even create a FIRE HAZARD. The amplifier Audio Express sold me was also SMALLER than the one I originally purchased from Skar, yet I paid $230 for it compared to the $170 Skar amp--and it couldn't properly power my subs. When I tried to return the unnecessary amplifier, I was refused a refund. I walked in trusting a "professional" audio shop and walked out feeling like I had been taken advantage of because I didn't know enough about car audio to question them. Thankfully, West Texas Tint & Audio FIXED EVERYTHING, explained exactly what was wrong, got me in quickly, and treated me like an actual customer. **My recommendation: GO TO WEST TEXAS TINT & AUDIO. Avoid Audio Express. I would not trust them with my vehicle or equipment again.**

Luis provided expert advice and top notch customer service. He understood the mission and delivered…read moreresults beyond my expectations. I didn't feel belittled by my lack of industry knowledge at all. He was very informative and explained multiple options without putting a ton of pressure to buy or purchase equipment/parts I didn't need or want. They even recommended a tint shop that was top notch when asked if they provided said services. Amazing experience with a great crew. I will be returning soon for more upgrades to my vehicle and definitely recommend them to everyone.
