Updating my review because we came back and the quality and service are amazing if not even better. Tried coming in with a toddler and they were so accommodating. A high chairs, place mat, kid plate and utensils!!! They even gave my daughter a little probiotic drink at the end of our meal which she absolutely loved. Thanks to all the amazing employees who make this establishment stand out.
I don't think I'v had KBBQ outside of Ktown but Soh Grill proved me wrong! We came on a Saturday night and ordered the prime boneless short rib, brisket, kimchi fried rice and the soybean paste tea along with some yogurt soju. All excellent. usually prefer marinated cuts, but everything here delivered. Service was warm and attentive, and theyed cook everything for us tableside. If you want KBBQ but don't want to deal with the traffic of Ktown, Soh Grill is it. I will be a regular here!
Soh Grill House is a KBBQ restaurant in downtown Pasadena. It's a bit more upscale, and has a clean aesthetic, but still feels like a warm environment. We liked that there was good ventilation and didn't feel icky after leaving the restaurant. The waiters were really friendly and were willing to accommodate our stroller. We ordered the Lucky Split~pork belly, beef brisket, 2 tofu soups, 2 rice, 2 drinks, and ofc the appetizers. Everything was delicious and there was some leftovers between the two of us. We enjoyed not having to cook because the waiters do it for you wooo.

The brisket, galbi, and bulgogi are non-negotiables and yes, they cook it right at your table on the grill, which honestly makes the whole experience. You also get Korean side dishes to snack on while everything sizzles, and I always round the table out with steamed egg, japchae, bulgogi tacos, wings, and dolsot bibimbap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean, spacious, and the staff is genuinely so kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
The bulgogi was so good that we ordered a second one and easily ate all of it. The corn cheese was also hella good. I feel like the sides and prices are way better at other kbbq places though so while this was good and definitely satisfied my craving for kbbq I'd just go to ktown.

We were greeted and sat right away with very friendly staff, and I immediately loved the modern aesthetic and cleanliness of the restaurant. This was the first time that I have had Korean BBQ where the staff cooked it vs. the guest cooking it, and it was a very nice experience. They cooked everything perfectly and so fast. The meat was tender and juice and so flavorful. I especially loved the kimchi pancake and kimchi soup! Everything was bursting with flavor and full of freshness. Each item hit the spot and overall it was a fantastic dining experience!
Our party of 4 plus our dog visited on a Saturday night with a reservation. It was all of our first time at Soh and we did not know what to expect. It's definitely not like most kbbq places where the smoke gets everywhere and you come out stinking of it. The smoke is very well controlled and the restaurant itself doesn't even smell! The meat was cooked for us at our table and it was delicious! I would most definitely return.

Most KBBQ places we've been to are either smoky, cramped, or a little grungy--but this one was the total opposite. It's sleek, modern, and surprisingly upscale while still feeling casual and welcoming. We didn't have a reservation, but they seated us pretty quickly, which was a nice surprise. The service was top-tier, with waiters constantly checking in to make sure we were happy with everything. One of my favorite parts was that they cook the meat for you (yay not having to worry about doing that myself), and then they give it a final blast of torch to finish--such a cool touch. Everything was sizzling hot and served at just the right pace. I also loved how I didn't walk out smelling like a campfire. The bulgogi was a standout--sweet, savory, and packed with flavor. Every bite was juicy and satisfying without being overly greasy. The array of side dishes was generous and delicious. Portion sizes were just right--not so much you feel overwhelmed, but enough to leave full and happy.

Came to Soh Grill House because we wanted quality Korean BBQ but didn't want to go all the way to Koreatown. Not gonna lie, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of the food here. Ordered the Prime Flower Boneless Short Rib, Prime Rib Eye, Prime Seasoned Boneless Short Rib, and Prime Galbi. All the meats were pure quality! I definitely shade more towards marinated meats than unmarinated meats, but all of them were fantastic. Service here is really good as well. They're all really friendly here. As expected with a non-AYCE KBBQ place, they do cook all your meats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will also note that this is one of the nicest KBBQ restaurants I've been to from a layout perspective. Unlike most KBBQ restaurants which seem very crammed, the tables are really spaced out and the ventilation is top notch. Felt very comfortable in here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although Soh doesn't compare to the absolute best KBBQ restaurants in Koreatown, I would definitely take it over some of Koreatown spots for sure. Went here on a Sunday afternoon, no wait and we were seating promptly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is so clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Opted for the Lucky Split for two people. Ordering outside the butchers choice deals seemed a little pricey. The waiters were kind and kept checking in on us. They also cook the meat for you. We had the bulgogi and pork belly which were cooked perfectly and the combo even came with alllll the best banchan, tofu soup, and even two beers. Um yes please. All for $117 with taxes etc. Overall 10/10 would be back again for one of the butcher's choice combos. read more

First timer trying out this KBBQ in Pasadena (Raymund Ave and Colorado Bvld.) There's 4 adults and 1 child in our part. FOOD: We ordered the "DUDES PLATTER (FOR FOUR) for $165 and it came with the following: BRISKET, SEASONED BONELESS SHORT RIB, PORK BELLY, BULGOGI, 4 RICE + TWO DRAFT BEER OR THREE SOFT DRIKS I love how the meat presentation was, it came in a huge box and I thought it looked fancy. Taste: 100% recommended. I love KBBQ place where they cook the meat in fornt of you rather than we cook it for ourselves. We got to enjoy the meat while chatting over with good friends and not worry about cooking Portions: Each meat are served in a decents portion. It was enough for everyone in our party and our tummy were all happy. They even have complimentary cotton candy that they make for their guests (to anyone who loves cotton candy) my 11 yr old had 2 sticks ) SERVICE: 100% Customer service satisfaction, all the servers here where very friendly and attentive and they do check On our table quite often. Soh Korean BBQ is the best kqq in Pasadena! Located off of Colorado, easy to commute to. The servers are super friendly and accommodating. The portions are big. The meat and sides are very high quality. They have a variation of Korean beers and even serve cotton candy made in store!! read more

Came in a Saturday just looking for some lunch. We ordered the lucky split set which was perfect for two people just as they advertised. It came with brisket, pork belly and a choice of soup and two drinks. It was the perfect amount of food. WE LOVE SOH GRILL HOUSE. Love the clean, sleek layout that is perfect for large parties. The employees are all very attentive and they cook the meat to perfection for you. They also teach you which sauce is best with which meat as well as how to eat certain meats. We got the lucky split and added the marinated short rib - it did NOT disappoint. Everything tasted high quality and they take great care in cooking each meat to our preference. The only thing was it was so much food for just the two of us!! We're not from the area and were craving Korean BBQ, so we checked reviews and saw this place had consistently great feedback. That's what made us decide to drive over.When we got there, parking was a bit challenging. Most of the parking is street metered, and because it's a highly walkable area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, available spaces are limited. It's definitely something to plan for, but once parked, everything is close by.There is a parking garage directly across the street, which is convenient, but it costs $15. We weren't thrilled about the fee, though it is an option if you don't want to deal with street parking. We walked into the restaurant and were nicely greeted. It was around 5:00 p.m., just as dinner service was starting, so the place was still fairly empty. The restaurant itself is very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We were seated right away. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated, but we felt overlooked as the staff focused on another table. Dinner is $98 per person, plus extra charges for additional sides, and automatic gratuity for parties of five or more. After reviewing the menu, we decided it wasn't for us and left. Ended up at a Korean BBQ 4 minutes down tge way nearby for $50 per person, which was a better fit for our group. read more

As of July 2022, the long tables seemed to fit 8 chairs. Unsure if they are able to add in additional chairs. The large combo for 4 people is $150 and comes with 2 draft beers. The large combo for 5 people is $190 and comes with a soju.
