Very cute and cozy cafe! Staff were super friendly and kind. Can get busy, but coffee is delicious. Tried a Vanilla Latte with a banana cold foam and their açaí bowl was super delicious! Great place to study and to get some good coffee
This is my second time visiting Soft Cafe. At first, I wanted to order a coffee but it was already late in the day, so I ordered a refresher as a sweet treat. My colleague ordered a strawberry matcha as well as a caprese croissant. I forgot to take a picture of the caprese croissant but my colleague loved it! The strawberry matcha was also highly enjoyed. My colleague described it as a smooth and creamy. She appreciated that the matcha was not bitter, but robust. The strawberry purée reminded her of fresh strawberries caramelized in sugar. I rarely drink refreshers, so I didn't know what to expect. For one thing, this is a powerful drink! It is in no way a weak herbal tea, but rather a potent citrusy drink with a sweet strawberry purée accompanied with a tangy floral twist of the elderberry. I also expected a perfume taste, but it felt more like an island drink. Perfect for summer! Soft Cafe is a very chill and vibrant space filled with board games and cool people hanging out. I went in late September, but being So Cal, it was still rather hot. They have a fall menu which I hope to try in a windy day! Til next time!
Checked out this spot for fun first time and really liked the atmosphere. It's spacious, plenty of spots to get work done, plus WiFi and board games, which is a nice touch. I tried the açaí bowl, and the best part is the unlimited toppings. I'd recommend getting the regular size, the price difference is $2, but the portion is noticeably larger. The bowl was overall okay. I've heard good things about the matcha, so I'd probably try a drink next time. Service was good, but there was only one staff member working and the line picked up quickly. Plenty of street parking, which is always a plus.
So I stumble into a nice cozy small place and try the strawberry matcha and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Matcha is delicious and the strawberry flavor was just right! Customer service is amazing very friendly and polite! Definitely coming back
I love coming here! It was a hot day so I got one of their limited time lemonades. Staff was really friendly I feel like there's a lot of tables which is good for working and they had ac inside which was nice because of the hot day! I love how aesthetic the interior is!
This is place is in a great spot and it was easy to find. I'm from out of town so whenever I visit LA I like to discover different coffee shops. I really wanted to like this one because the service was so great & the place was so cute and clean. The coffee was ok and the food was also ok. It's a very just place and there are a lot of kids that like to hang out so it was a little noisier that I would've liked but it's still a cute shop with great service. I just wasn't a fan of the coffee, I didn't really like the flavor. It had a bit of an instant coffee taste.
This is such a cute place! Love the warm vibe inside. There's lots of plants and even a little table for kids to color. It was full of people so I knew it must be good! I ordered a vanilla latte and my boyfriend got a flat white. Both were very delicious!
Cute little local spot that opened in the summer of 2025. Glad I gave it a shot and tried it! Street parking was relatively easy and there's a decent amount of tables to sit and study. The decor is great and gives a warm cozy vibe. Owner here was friendly. The Madagascar vanilla latte was fantastic. Perfect warm temperature to sip right off the bat. Rich and creamy but not too sweet. I also appreciate how the vanilla flavor is homemade as well as the honey cake. The honeycake was a great combo to pair with the coffee and would love to try the cheese cake next time!
Cute little café with plenty of seating and serves many drinks, food, even ice cream. Got the matcha cream top, which was decent, albeit a bit sweeter than I would've liked. Overall, Soft Cafe is a solid spot to stay and enjoy the gentle vibes.
I've been to Soft cafe a few times and I'm hooked. I tried their regular matcha latte at half sweet and it was perfect. The matcha is hand whisked to order and has a grassy earthy taste. The grinch matcha latte is on the sweeter side and very creamy. The toffee cloud latte is also a fave! It has the right balance of bittersweet. Their chocolate chip, coconut, and oatmeal cookie is also very tasty! The service has been consistent and friendly. I will absolutely come back for more!
I really like the vibe here. Very chic decor and comfortable seating, with great choice of coffee, pastries, ice creams and sandwiches. Their summer seasonal menu looked really interesting too. Plus plenty open parking sparks right in front of the cafe! I'm a cold brew girl, and was most satisfied with the cold brew here :) nice cafe!
A super cool coffee place. I actually found it on Yelp and the reviews were pretty accurate. I'll start out with what was a miss for me and then finish with why you should still check it out. I went there to meet a friend and talk and most of the tables are occupied by laptop campers. It's as quiet as a library in there. It's so quiet, whatever you say can be heard by everyone else. On top of that, it was super cold. Maybe they made it so cold so the laptop campers would pack it up sooner. It's a beautiful space and they add a lot to the business area. Street parking is plentiful right in front. A woman with awesome glasses took our order. We both had one of their craft lemonades. They were way too sweet, even sweeter than a soda pop. I wish there was a way to order the level of sweetness you want. The woman who served us was so kind we didn't have the heart to send them back. Still, they have all kinds of drinks, so you can surely find something you like. They also have sandwiches and artisan ice cream. They do a steady business, so the word it out! Give it a try!
Good quality matcha but you do need to get double shots like two extra shots for it to be strong but once it's strong it's really smooth and you taste the notes of matcha. It just gets pricey adding double shot I wish they used more matcha when making the matcha at its baseline so I'm not having to pay so much to actually taste the good quality you know. Also love how they make their own syrups in house (rose one was really good. I LOVE anything rose lol so was excited to try bc I hate store bought rose syrups). read more

Coffee before Dr appt. I got the Banana Matcha 10/10. Earthy, nice color, banana flavors are delicious. Hunny got the Sugar Free Vanilla latte. 10/10. Perfect sweetness with it being sugar free. I'm so happy Soft is here! I've tried a couple of their items. Banana Matcha is my fav! It's the perfect amount of banana and the Matcha quality is good every time. In the summer I tried the guava matcha and it was also good and refreshing! Recently they have a tiramisu latte and it was also good. It's not overly sweet but just right. Beautiful and clean cafe with a pleasant wicker-wood ambiance, friendly and helpful baristas and excellent selection of breakfast/brunch treats. The iced banana matcha was delicious; the blueberry muffin had a crumbly, almost cornbread-y soft texture that was lovely. My companion got a gingerbread Biscoff cookie with his latte, a nice and much-appreciated accompaniment. Their ham/prosciutto crossiant sandwich (it's not both, it's either, FYI. In my case I chose prosciutto) was amply filled, made on a soft buttery croissant with a generous medley of greens, guac, cream cheese, cucumber and, you guessed it, prosciutto. Delicious! This review is a little late but I wanted to say how much I loved it here. Such a wonderful study environment with high quality drinks. I went a month or so ago and the workers are very friendly and warm. They additionally gave me and my friend two free lattes since they were doing a photo shoot with the two drinks. Out of the 3 drinks I tried, I can safely say this is high quality coffee. I also loved the caprese croissant I had for lunch. Such a cute cafe with delicious matcha and ice cream! Came here with my friend on a Saturday afternoon and it was a very chill vibe. The woman helping us was super friendly and helpful. I'm the type of person will order multiple coffees, and food, when I post up at a coffee shop to do some work, but not when it's $7 for one the size of a small. This place has a nice layout, wifi and plugs, making it comfortable to work in. I was only here for about one coffee's worth of time, so I don't feel so bad. The mocha I had was more of a dark chocolate tasting mocha. If you are looking for a more Gen-Z, minimalist looking coffee shop then maybe this is more of your thing. read more

A hidden, family owned gem in Hawthorne! They have such a variety of options here. The matcha and coffee drinks as well as sandwiches, pasties, and ice cream! It's a one stop shop that will make everyone in the family satisfied. A great place to study or hang out with friends. They have games and a few areas so sit. Cute, clean, small coffee shop. When I went there was plenty of seating available, definitely a place to come study if someone wanted to. I was greeted by friendly workers and helped with the questions I had. I tried the Banana soft cloud. I rate it a 7/10 not the best I've tried but still good! There was more of the foam then match. My wife and I are always looking for coffee shops to enjoy a cup of coffee. Luckily we found a new local spot here in the neighboring city of Hawthorne. They just opened a month ago so we're the first of what I'm hoping is many future visits. We both ordered the Madagascar vanilla latte. Mine was hot while my wife's was iced. I have to say I preferred my wife's iced version but I'm just a sucker for hot coffee. Both options are delicious. We also ordered a cinnamon roll and it definitely hit the spot. I recommend you get that warmed up. Service was fast, maybe waited about 5 minutes so be patient with them since they're a small operation. It's a calm environment with some music playing so nothing loud or annoying which is good, we can enjoy our coffee. It's safe to say that we found a local spot that we will be regulars at. I started coming here with my chihuahua after her sister passed away, and we were both feeling pretty down. I was so grateful to discover that this place is dog friendly--it gave us somewhere warm and welcoming to go while we healed. Every time I visit, the staff is genuinely kind and makes me feel right at home. I've been drinking coffee my whole life and have tried just about every coffee shop in the South Bay, and this one is hands down my favorite. The coffee always tastes high-quality, and their matcha is absolutely to die for. Unlike other places where the drinks can be hit or miss, every single visit here has been consistently perfect. Their quality control is on point. On top of that, the aesthetic is beautiful, the couches are super comfy, and the vibes are truly immaculate. I saw their menu and saw some of the drinks. The reviews were high so i thought the place would be fire. And I'll say damn that was some good coffee. I told the barista is was my first time here and she was really helpful and welcoming. Told her I had a nut allergy so she was very understanding. I had the Belgium mocha I think it's called. Iced with extra ice cuz I like my drinks cold cold. The taste was amazing, kind of like dark chocolate but having that coffee taste. 10/10. The inside is really cozy and I love the fountain they got in the corner. Parking is no issue. U can park near the outside spots or in the neighborhood area. I parked in 130th street cuz I just wanted a guaranteed spot and I like to walk. This place is a banger. I want to try the French lavender latte next. It looks awesome. Quality coffee. Probably a place for coffee enthusiasts when they want something authentic. They have decent food options, too. Love to detail to the interior and design. It's pretty small and it kind of feels sterile. But it's cute. The service is good. They're attentive, and quick. Soft cafe is a great new spot in South Bay, currently in my top 3, not gonna lie. Coming in seeing roughly 40 reviews, I knew it was fairly new on the scene but they came with it! We ordered the French lavender latte (7.7/10) & banana soft cloud matcha (8.8/10). For someone who is a huge fan of banana and matcha, that drink was chuggable! Service was amazing and they were very helpful when it came to ordering our drinks! I love the setting of the shop too, it is a great spot to mellow out and get work done if needed or going with people to have conversation. There were some board games and books to read also! The vibe is calm and cozy , ideal for studying, reading, or simply unplugging for a bit. I appreciate that their coffee isn't overly sweet, which is a rare find and exactly what I look for.
