Just had a great meal with my non-adventurous foodie wife. Her first time eating at a Latin restaurant and we both loved it. Authentic food, friendly servers, local craft beer on tap, great value. read more

The food is excellently prepared and the restaurant is presented very well. Good for family night out.

We came here to eat, the food was so delicious. Prices were fair. The concept of "fast Restaurant" is great. Be ready to order at the front desk with Host/ sit and wait. Enjoy! Worth it We had churrasco, Colombian burger and grilled chicken, Malbec wine and flan. I wasn't crazy about the flan but overall a 5 star. Friendly staff but because of restaurant concept, not much of a service, which I am ok with. Sorry no picture, we were too hungry Family, delicious food, great prices, quick service. read more

Great prices for Tourist town. Nice beer on tap. Cuban and Pork Sandwich were A+. Good yuca and papas rellanas. Mojo was soo good. Very pretty place and nice service. read more

My family of five had our lunch there while we were on vacation, everything was delicious and on point. I took off one star because we tried to get deliver the night before but couldn't because apparently they work with über for their deliveries and you have to order online , I was not able to because it kept saying it was unavailable. That was really frustrating. But other than that, the place is clean and and staff was really friendly!' read more

LOVE IT !! i'm venezuelan and the food was great the staff was super friendly! and service was great! will recommend to everyone i know ( they're also open on holidays ) read more

Had to try them out due to their yelp reviews and sick of Walt Disney over priced food. This place is the best of the best! Came back over and over again while in Orlando. read more

I saw a lot of good Yelp reviews so I had to taste it for myself. The atmosphere is a comfortable sit down restaurant but the truth is it operates more like a food truck. You order and pay at the counter and the meal is brought to your table but that is the only "service". Beverages are self serve with beer / wine available at the counter. I think the food was delicious.... I made the mistake of using the dark colored hot sauce and burnt away any flavor that was present. Staff are all friendly and prices are appropriate for the tourist area where they are located. read more

Three nights in a row my husband and I ordered pick up, three great meals! We've had the roast pork, lomo saltado, chicken soup, and a couple other items. Everything has been delicious! If you're staying in the area, this is a great place to grab a meal or two or three. Very fair prices too. read more

The Lomo Saltado was amazing!!! The sangria was also very good. Thank you for an awesome dinner!

We came in on a rainy afternoon we were a party of 4 the only ppl in the place and still our orders were wrong. They brought out all the entrees out at different times. My husband and I ordered the pork and it was very salty. My mother ordered the skirt steak well done at it was med rare. I am giving them 1 star for friendliness, place itself was nice and great music but thats it. read more

Food was decent albeit nothing was hot (potato balls were dead cold in the middle). It's a restaurant where you order at the counter then they bring your food to your table; thus, I wasn't expecting stellar service. However, interaction with staff was poor as they were not very pleasant--hate to say it, but it really felt like this because we were not Latin/Hispanic. read more

Definitely do not miss out on this place! Very authentic food and very tasty. We had the shrimps al ajillo (with garlic) and the red snapper. Both were great and the portions are perfect; not too much and not too little. Churros were a bit overcooked but chocolate and dulce de leche sauces were awesome. Venezuelan empanadas were a highlight! Service was very attentive and nice. Would definitely recommend and go back! read more

Ousting food. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The roasted pork is to die for. No wait although they were very busy. Food came in about 10 minutes. read more

This place is always great. Authentic Hispanic food. Churrasco and Cuban sandwich were outstanding. The Cuban empanadas are unreal, the beef is the best but chicken is also very good. 5 stars always! read more

Not sure if this reataurant is attempting to imitate Panera restaurant model or if this is their new spin of self serve or perhaps they were runing short on staff. We are from NY and as a new yorker we have a vast experience of restaurant services from Biergartens to food trucks to 3 star michelin restaurants. We are here for a family vacation and while trying to look for a spanish local place at a reasonable price our driver recommended Sofrito Cafe. Place looked was nice and there were only 2 other tables with customers when we got there. Althought the place was practically empty we waiter for about 5 mins to get seated by the bartender/cashier/waitress as there was no hostes on door to greet us. The bartender/cashier/waitress walked us to a dirty table while seated she asked me to pick up the menus for my family (6 people) and ask us to place our order when ready. I thought this was very odd, she could handed our menus before we got seated, anyways i proceed to head back to the main entrance and grab wooden menus for my family, remember we are 6 people. I grab 4 wooden the menus because they were bulky and heavy. While checking the menu we waited for someone to clean the table and bring utensils. After about another 10 mins the same woman came to only clean the table without any utensils. She was very friendly and ask if we were ready, thinking she was going to take our order i started to tell her what we want and she stop me and ask if i have any questions to which i said no, and proceed to tell me once again that i have to place my order on the front. I wrote down our order on my phone and head to the counter. There was another cashier there which ask me nicely what i wanted, when i proceed to tell her our order of 2 argentinan churrascos she tells me they ran out of churrascos. I wonder why the first woman didnt bother to mentioned this while she was cleaning our table. I had to head back to my family and check what else they can eat. Finally i went back to the counter and place order of 3 lomo saltados, 1 grill chicken a bunch of sides and sodas. The order total was 105 not including tip. I gave the standard 20% tip on the order (which i know i regret as i was the one that almost did all the work) once i paid the cashier gave me 6 sets of utensils (forks, knifes, spoons) plus napkins to bring back to my table, keep in mind we are 6 so i have to bring all those back to my family. We waited for our food, the drinks came first, following by the Lomo saltados. Wow as a Ecuadorian which had plenty of peruvian food this was bad. The lomo tasted like vinager than soy sauce. There was no ginger or siyao flavor, only a tart vinager taste. The rice was undercook, the only good thing was the fries. The grill chicken came after, according to my niece is was good so i will not complain on that however her salad was serve on the same plate where the rice and grill chicken was served so her salad looked her soggy and when i tasted the lettuce was dripping in chicken juices. We asked for extra plates and waited at another 15 mins for someone to come back with any plates, and this is after the cashier acknowledge she forgot twice the plates. I had to go back to th counter and ask for a 3rd time. From the rice, beans and yucca sides, we only like the yuca and beans as both yellow and white rice were undercook. Half of the lomos were left intact as tye vinager flavor was too strong. We left very dissapointed at the service, food. Not recomending this place at all. Im only giving 2 start, the place looks nice however the service and food is bad. There was not even ambience music. read more

Loved the food! Very warm service with personal attention. Could not believe how low the prices are compared to the quality of food!

Service was excellent, food was fresh and delicious, pretty close to a home cooked meal if you order a big plate

This was a surprise as we were out of town tourists looking for something different but authentic for lunch. We were a party of 11 and we all enjoyed the food, service and the outdoor patio. We enjoyed everything from drinks, mains and desserts. We will surely come back if we are ever in town again. read more

We discovered this hidden gem today. Food was fantastic as well as atmosphere. We were well fed before heading to Disney. Wished we discovered it before our vacation ended. My Puerto Rican husband was very happy. read more

OMG! We stopped for some Latin food... It was a super fast service, and the flavor!! And you cant beat the prices! I highly recommend it!

Found this new Venezuelan restaurant while down in the Disney area of town. Excellent fresh tasty food, great prices and very neat and clean! If you want great empanadas or cachitos this is the place! Make sure you check it out if you love latin food. read more

Wow! Finally some quality food while on vacation in Orlando. The soup was great. Reminded me of the one I make at home. The Pabellon was amazing, the meat was just like Venezuelans make it not soupy, not dry. Just right. The Lomo Saltado was great also, spicy. We had Colombian empanadas. Being Colombian I do need to say they were missing the potatoes and the ground beef was a little salty. It totally taste homemade and everything was good. Will definitely order from here again. read more

Delicious venezuelan food, friendly staff and great prices! Definitely coming back ^_^

One of my dining colleagues found hair in her sandwich. Since she is blonde and the hair was dark, it's safe to assume it was not her hair. I had eaten there once before and had enjoyed it. I have yet to decide whether I am going to go back. read more

Stopped by because we were in town for a wedding. Food was incredible and management was super nice. We had the chicken soup, lomo, rotisserie chicken, Cuban sandwich, and veggie sandwich. Everything was delicious. read more

I did pickup. I had the churrasco meal. And I enjoyed every moment of the meal. I wish I would've stayed to experience the atmosphere. I wouldn't say anything too amusing. But except overall it was clean. read more

This place is amazing!!!! Good food, the best "tripleta" that I have ever ate since I moved to Florida.

Good food, reasonable price. I had the roast pork, with 3 sides. Yellow rice, black beans and fries were all good. The meal also included a salad. Friendly and helpful staff. Left very satisfied! read more

We are very grateful they accommodated our request of a non spicy lomo saltado; and they delivered for free. Thank you so much!

The most amazing food. I could eat the pollo la plancha everyday! Service is outstanding!!!

I drove over here and they closed 30 minutes early. That sat there looking at me as I'm tugging on the locked door. There were people inside eating, but I wasted my time driving over here. read more

Wow, the service at this place is horrible. Ordered Togo, spent almost $100 and they don't have an extra plate?? Seriously? Ordered 5 items and they give you 2 forks? Are we suppose to eat with our hands, is that how you eat? We are here visiting from Cali, am I suppose to have utensils and plates with me? The lady in the front was super rude! We asked for one extra plate and she told us she doesn't have it. Asked her if she had Togo boxes and she said no. How the heck is she packing Togo orders??? Not sure if she is having a bad day or if she is on her rag but we as customers are paying you to serve us otherwise you wouldn't have a job. Pretty sure your going to be furloughed as Florida should be shutting back down again. Appreciate that you have a job and treat others the way you want to be treated. We are from California and this is our second time ordering from this restaurant, we will no longer be spending our money here. For the price we are paying for the meal, we should have better service. Sucks because the food is decent. So disappointed read more

This place was good but I wasn't impressed! The bathrooms were nasty and not clean! The food was very salty for my taste. But the service was great!! read more

Great food and great prices. Fast food mentality with restaurant style taste. Order at the register, sit down and have the food brought to the table. Went here with the family. The churrasco and pollo a la brasa had a great taste. The chicken soup was fun if chicken and vegetables. The staff was friendly and courteous. A lot better than the other big name Cuban places near Disney. read more

This was a great stop for us as we were passing through the Orlando area. The Wedge Salad was delicious but big so I'm very glad we split it. Even so, we could only finish half of our sandwiches. It was7:45pm when when we stopped in so I'm not surprised that it was not crowded. It was a relaxing atmosphere for us. I would definitely recommend this place for hungry adults; yes they did have a children's menu too! read more

Service is good, the people friendly and the music was very good. The set up was different. It's fast food dining. You order and pay at the register. Then your food is brought to you on disposable plates with disposable utensils. However, some of the food was bland. The black beans taste like they poured them out of the can, heated, and served. The roasted chicken was flavorful, but undercooked. The "sancocho" was ok. Not a place I would recommend. read more

Really good! The scent of the restaurant alone when we walked in let me know I was about to eat some good authentic food. I had the Roasted Pork dinner with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. The meat was tender and the plantains were perfect! My Daughter had the Roasted Chicken and she loved it. The flavors were all great! The Tres Leches didn't seem to be freshly made. First, it was refrigerated. It was a small bit of cake in the bottom of a cup soaking in the milks topped with whipped cream. Not my favorite version of this dessert, but it didn't taste bad. Just not prepared how I like. All in all great experience! Planning to stop by again to try the empanadas. read more

This place is amazing!!! The chicken plate is good, steak is good, Cuban roast pork sandwiched by corn pancake is to die for, empanadas are also good. I wish we have this in LA!!! Definitely coming back again tomorrow. Simply amazing. read more

Sofrito Latin Cafe - Latin American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

See all

Food was good, but the service was pretty slow. It's counter style, so you have to order your food at the bar and then find a table and it's brought out to you. I think if I went there again it would be for takeout. read more
