I wish this place was close to home! Everything about here was amazing. They have board games for customers to use and play while you wait for you're food to come out. (We played Jenga) We got unlimited refills the food portions were very good and the food was fresh and amazing. The staff was helpful in explaining the menu it was all around a great experience! read more

I went there for breakfast I was disappointed that the breakfast was so poor. Two eggs over cooked. And a Cuban bread that was smaller than the slice of orange. read more

Our family is here for a week on a disney world trip. I found this place searching for dinner and im so glad we came across it! My husband is from Nicaragua and has a true heart for food, especially latin food and his mom who can be a food critic enjoyed everything she ordered which was a big plus. It offers a variety of Caribbean dishes that lots of latin cultures share. We shared it with our family who will be getting lunch there tomorrow. I know they wont be disappointed. They also offer a kids menu. Chicken trips were made of scratch and my kids devoured them. Thank you. It was a little busy when we went in to pick up our order. If you have an order you're picking up and it's packed at the ordering desk in the front of the restaurant, go to the bar and ask if you need to wait. I am sure someone will help. With the pandemic and the demand now for dining in, be patient. Our food was ready when they said and besides a small miscommunication with the pick up, we are satisfied with the food and services provided. From Cali, big thanks!! read more

Totally authentic cuban and empanadas, great specialty coffee, friendly service and quick turnaround. Churros were heavenly! Would definitely return. read more

Hands down the best Latin food we have eaten. Even the kids loves it. It's our 3rd day in Orlando and it's our best and least expensive meal so far. It's a hidden gem. Fast and courteous service. read more

First time at this restaurant based on Yelp awesome 4.5* reviews. Indeed it was very very good Latin food. Ordered the Argentina and Cuban empinada which both are delicious. The steak and roast pork are not disappointing either. Everyone was very pleased with their food. Will definitely come back when I am in Orlando. read more

Everything was splendid, absolutely incredible. I would come back everyday if I could. TOTALLY RECOMMEND

I had the "colombian burger".... I'm colombian, straight out of Colombia so I know how colombian burgers are and I don't mind it when people add more ingredients but this place added coleslaw. It didn't taste right. It also had more bread than any other ingredient. read more

I have been looking for a great Latin Cafe here in Orlando and I finally found one. Love their Cafe Con Leche and Authentic food. Highly recommended. Now if they would add guava pastries, I'd be set! But that certainly is not a draw back as this place is top notch. read more

The food here is very authentic. We came for an early dinner and the quality of the food and the friendly service were fantastic. I would highly recommend if you are looking for low cost, high quality latin option while in Orlando. read more

This is a total gem! We were in Orlando for the week and I found this spot on Yelp. We checked it out fo dinner and ended up coming back another day for lunch. For dinner I had the camarones al ajillo. Definitely would come back for that! My husband and I shared a chachapa with beef. It was AMAZING! My husband had the pork with rice and beans. So tasty! My daughter had the rice and chicken tenders (the crispiest I've seen!). If we lived close by this would be a weekly dinner spot for us. read more

We ate here the last time we were in town and were looking forward to our return on this visit. We had a long drive from Atlanta and drove straight to the restaurant before checking into our hotel. Unfortunately, this was not as good as our previous visit. The staff was not as friendly and none of the food came out hot, it was just lukewarm. My husband's snapper was overcooked and dry. I had the steak with the shrimp which wasn't seared at all. This experience was just disappointing after our high expectations following our visit from last year. Initially, we thought we may eat here twice on this visit, but I don't think we can. read more

We had the tequeños, pork and a beef patacon. I have very high expectations for Latin food and all I can say is that Sofrito met them! The tequeños were on point, the patacon was delicious and my fiancé's pork meal (which came with three sides. He got fries, rice and beans) was very good. I'm originally from Miami and am always looking for good Latin food; Sofrito will definitely be in my rotation moving forward. read more

Sofrito Latin Cafe - Latin American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This was an excellent place to eat , food was very fresh . The prices were reasonable. But the seats were uncomfortable metal seats , like they don't want you to stay long and the service was not good. We asked for a spoon three times and never got one . read more

Annoying ordering process where you have to look at extensive menu while standing then order and pay. Then you get to sit and wait 20 minutes for your drink and an additional 20 minutes for your food. Get some waitstaff! Food was just ok. Rice was bland and under cooked. Skirt steak was under cooked. Yelp ratings are skewed on this one. Tables on either side of us sent food back so it wasn't just our table that wasn't happy. read more

Well, the food was lukewarm, and the portions were tiny. The price for five people ,three kids and two adults was outrageous. You have to order your food and then sit to be served! Really! LOL. Save your money eat Dominos. Was really looking forward to real good Latin food. Since I am from NYC! read more

Simply the best. Was on vacation with my family and I was impressed on the quality of food along with the service.

Our family ate here last week while in Orlando. Our daughter ordered the chicken soup and she loved it, she said it was better than my homemade chicken soup. I had the roast pork with rice, beans, plantains and the salad that comes with it - the portion size was huge! I was very happy with the flavors of all of the items I ordered. My husband had "a humongous burger with an egg on it and it was good" We will be back next time we are in Orlando! read more

Went to this restaurant because we were craving a Hispanic coffee. It took the staff at least 5 minutes to acknowledge the fact that We was standing in line to order. We ordered one pre-made item that was in the warmer, and a coffee. We say to eat in, but it took 20 minutes from the time of ordering to the time we received the coffee. They need to focus more on customer service, and not gossiping amongst themselves to efficiently serve the people who are paying to eat there. We were excited for the 4.5 stars they have, but they do not deserve those stars based on the service we received today. This is the first, and last time we will be visiting this restaurant. read more

Not a good place to go. Food is inconsistent, and was mostly bad. Also you serve yourself which is weird because they still ask for tips.

Had the lomo saltado today. It really hit the spot! Sandwiches looked great as well. Very friendly service.

Good food, served quickly with friendly service. Glad I passed on the chain restaurants and came here.

Came here with my wife when we were in Orlando for a vacation in November. The food and service was amazing! Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. We'll be coming back when I go back to Orlando. read more

Wow, just delicious Latin selection. Very well prepared. Staff is smiley and pleasant. I couldn't ask for better

Being Hispanic I always look for the right Hispanic/Latin spots. Sofrito has the qualities that you would expect in a Latin restaurant. Simple, yet organized menu, Latin sodas, several beers (drafts, bottles, cans). They provide a great breakfast ambiance that works well for lunch and dinner as well. Large outdoor patio for entertainment. Great, large portions of food can feed an entire family no problem. read more

Absolutely love this place!! Here for the weekend to go to Disney parks and didn't want to eat park food ($$$). Looked around the area and saw that this place had great reviews. We ordered an Argentinian empanada with cheese, Patacon and churrasco with yuca, sweet plantains and yellow rice. Everything was amazing!! I wish I would have taken pictures of the food but it smelled so amazing we couldn't help but dig in! You won't regret trying this place. read more

This place will not disappoint you. Service was good and the food was nothing but AMAZING! I would definitely come back here. I had the Churrasco, with papa criolla, papas sofritas, and yellow rice. I ordered my meat medium rare and trust me, it was great. Their chimichurri sauce did not overpower the steaks flavor. It was perfection in a dish. I also had their coconut flan. It was really delicious as well. read more

Ok so this place has a lot of improvements to make. If it's a lunch spot then fine, but a steak dinner should not be served on plastic plates and eaten with plastic utensils. The appetizers we not thoroughly cooked or warmed, outside was hot but inside potato ball was cold. We ordered a pernil platter and the pork was extremely dry. Sent it back and got churrasco steak that was better. Flan desert looks like a mini flan you get at BJs...so all in all not impressed. The place looks nice that's why they got two stars. read more

This is our last meal in orlando before heading back to los angeles. We had a churasco and special of the day chulata. Churasco was delicious! The chulata was tender and the rice was flavorful! We also had a jupina and malta india soda. Everything was good. A great way to end our trip here. Despite strange honking and shouting from people driving! read more

Average, with so many options for latin cuisine in the area, this place was just decent. The good: Price was right, relleno de papa, yellow rice and beans, serving the mayo-ketchup for the tostones. The not-so-good: churrasco didn't have that good grilled flavor, service. read more

Very good. Found this place because of Yelp. The Tripleta and Cuban sandwiches were very good. The tres leches is very good too. Very friendly staff. read more

Stopped by yesterday for a quick lunch with my gf & we were impressed. From the hospitality & respect from the staff to the food everything was pleasing to say the least. Priced very fair & the food is worth much more. I'm probably going back tonight for a takeout dinner! read more

Empanadas good in general, churrasco was ok as well... Service super friendly and accommodative ... I will consider this place to crab a quick lunch not for dinner surely read more

This awesome place opened their doors to us even though they had already closed. They took pity on us haggard out of towners. Both of our brothers served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ in Venezuela and we were anxious to try the food. The food did not disappoint. Different in a good, pleasant and familiar way. Yum. read more

In town on business and was looking for a bite to eat before heading to the Outlet Mall. Saw this place had great reviews and it didn't disappoint! Ordered the Churrasco steak with tostones, black beans, salad, and Papa Criolla. The steak and beans was very well seasoned. Had the Papa Criolla which were delicious. The only thing I would change would be the tostones which were hard. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're looking for authentic Latin food in Orlando! read more

Wow where do I start? We tried several items on the menu, which are from different parts of Latin America. We liked the food so much we decided to order more as takeout so we could enjoy it later for dinner. There's plenty of parking out front. read more

Great change of pace. Very friendly staff, we enjoyed ducking in here on a rainy afternoon. Nice variety of small plates and even had the Cobb salad which was excellent. Owner/chef came out at end and she has Mexican place nearby. We went next day for the lunch buffet there (el Patron). Also 5 star!! read more

Awesome variety latin food. Great empanadas. Prices are reasonable and affordable if you are in a budget.

I can't believe the high rating on this restaurant. There is no way this place is even 2 stars. The food was completely cold., and the empanadas greasy. Will never come back. read more
