I have the most PERFECT couch made from this wonderful company. I was able to describe what I wanted and they came up with great ideas to complement what I described, and then I picked out a material that was so luxurious, the owners were using it themselves. And even the legs were great (stainless steel round), but no matter what will work for your space needs, you really need this company to try to give you what you want, and for a price that is unbelievable compared to most any store. And trust me, go for the extra good foam and then add down stuffing, amazing! My couch is used as a spare bed, besides everyday use. And the compliments come every day from visitors. A few months ago I had been looking for a new sofa and chair for a few months. One day, one of my clients cancelled and I found myself with some spare time to fill. So, I looked for local furniture stores in the area that I was in, as it wasn't too far from my home. Sofas Tables and More showed up on my phone and had great reviews here on Yelp, so I stopped by. I have to say that I'm very happy I did. I was instantly greeted by Gabriel, who asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I told him what I had in mind and it turns out that they were able to create a sofa to my specifications. He and his wife, Vannesa, were very professional and accommodating. I/we had gone back and forth on several options such as cushion filling and fabrics, but they were very patient. So much so that I decided to have a wing back chair made as well. I'm very glad I did... Love them both. The only thing I'm debating on (which is not their fault and they told me that I could change) is the seat cushion filling on the sofa. I'm still trying to decide if I would like it more structured and squared edge than casual and soft around the edges to retain it's shape after being sat on. Again, this is no fault of theirs, just a personal preference. I would advise anyone that is looking for well made furniture at a reasonable price with excellent customer service to go here. Went in with my family, immediately when I walked in I was loving what I saw. The ambiance and smell was lovely. The showroom is small but I was looking for something custom and heard great reviews plus I follow this store on Instagram. We drove down from Granada Hills just to visit this store. We were there for all of 5 minutes. We were greeted by a women who asked what we were looking for, I said a custom breakfast nook table and bench. She said they do much larger scale items that are expensive. Then she referred us to another location down the street, Fantastic Deals. She said they will have what you're looking for. I was caught off guard not really knowing what to think of this. We left, discouraged that she brushed us off so fast. No, I am not looking for a store like Fantastic Deals, we went and there was nothing Fantastic about that store. People will judge, I get it. They will treat you nice take your money and stab your back! Its up to you how you spend your money! I feel fortunate that I have never felt the need to post a review on here until now, and it appears, after reading recent posts that I am not alone in my experience. I purchased a custom sofa and loveseat from Gabriel almost a year ago. When it was delivered, material on the sofa was damaged, studs were missing from places on the loveseat and the feet were wrong on both. They took the sofa back, didn't return it for 2 weeks and when it finally arrived the piece of material they had replaced was damaged worse than the first time. They took it back again and promised I would have it back in a week. Needless to say, I didn't get it back for 10 days. Gabriel apologized and offered me a great deal if I would return. Well, I did so this week. I brought a picture of a console I had pulled from a catalog and also wanted to order a coffee table and end table. His price on the console was more than I could have ordered it from the catalog for and he wanted to charge me over $900 for a coffee table which consisted of 6 pieces of wood put together, when he charged my friend $750 for a custom made dresser with multiple working parts (i.e.drawers on tracks). All in all, my experience with Sofas Tables & More has been a giant headache!!! read more

Terrible experience ordering a custom piece from Vanessa. While her and her husband were very nice at the beginning they were unable to deliver what was ordered. When they were unable to fix the issue Vanessa became extremely rude and unprofessional. Ended up costing me extra just to get a refund on an order they messed up on. I seriously could not be more pleased with this company. Vannesa and Gabriel were both so easy to deal with. Their customer service was AMAZING! I sent Vannesa an email on a Sunday night, she responded right away saying she would call me the next day, and then in her phone call, she apologized for not calling me the moment she got my email! All of her emails and phone calls were professional and extremely pleasant. I had one small issue with my furniture, and they addressed it immediately and fixed it! This place is amazing! Custom designed furniture at a reasonable price!? The choices were nearly endless. All sorts of styles for all kinds of tastes. Vann is great-- very helpful and creative. The manufacture of my new sofa and throw pillows took only a couple of weeks, and they are simply gorgeous. When the delivery men arrived, I was thrilled... only to find that the sofa wouldn't fit through the front door! But the men persevered-- they tried EVERYTHING, eventually taking the sliding door off and bringing it through the garden. They put the sliding door back on, and everything is perfect. I think any other delivery men would have given up far sooner, but the guys with Sofas, Tables and More couldn't have been more helpful. Really above and beyond! Just had our sectional delivered this past Sunday and we couldn't be happier! We are so pleased with the whole process. Vanessa was great to work with. We went to the warehouse in Torrance where we were able to customize the size and design of exactly what we wanted. She had a ton of great fabrics and colors to choose from. Delivery was super easy, took just 3 weeks. They don't nickle and dime you for small changes, and they are really flexible. We would have had to pay twice as much and with a longer lead time at any retail store. The quality is amazing, so happy we found this place. We will definitely be coming back! read more

We went to this store on the recommendation of a friend. Gabriel was super-helpful, including loaning us fabric samples so that we could pick the best colors to coordinate with our existing furnishings. The pieces we ordered were ready in just 2 weeks -- so fast that Gabriel & Vanessa had to have the factory hold on to them for an extra week to give us time to dispose of our old furniture. The 2 men who delivered them rose to the challenge (including removing & rehanging the front door!) of getting our GORGEOUS pieces into place without a blemish. We LOVE them. We got the custom colors, fabrics, styles and sizes we wanted for a LOT less than the bigger chains at which we've previously shopped. Plus they are super comfy. Vanessa, the very sweet owner of the store, helped me pick the perfect furniture for my room. They have a variety of colors to choose from, and I found exactly what I was looking for. Vanessa told me it would take 4-5 weeks for the furniture to be ready... About 2 weeks later I got a call saying it was ready I was in complete shock! I found this store on BargainsLA.com. They always have awesome referrals and this was awesome as well. Vanessa and Gabriel can make any custom couch that you'd like. And they'll help you figure out what that is depending upon your needs and taste. I was looking for sort of a mid century look but super deep and also short to fit into a small room. They were able to take the standard couch I wanted and make it the size I needed. They have a beautiful selection of fabric and were both patient and helpful when trying to decide what I wanted. And they have good taste. When there was a mix up with my order they were happy to fix it. The couch was made and delivered in afew weeks and I love it! Highly recommend. read more

Wonderful custom furniture store! Purchased a bed, upholstered in velvet with tufting and nail heads. Gorgeous and reasonable! The quality is exceptional. The bed was a few days delayed, not a big deal at all for custom furniture! But Vanessa and Gabriel kept me informed even of the short delay. The bed was delivered and assembled and it is better than expected. We are ordering a custom coffee table from Vanessa based on their customer service and quality. I'm disappointed my husband insisted on purchasing our sectional from Kreiss because they were having a "sale." (Before we discovered Sofas, Tables and More!! I wanted a restoration hardware sectional and he insisted on kreiss) It was a fortune even on sale and after seeing the sofas at Vanessa's showroom....we could have saved thousands of dollars and had a custom sofa or sectional! When we are ready to replace our furniture, Vanessa's showroom will be our first stop. Do yourself a favor and before buying from Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn or Kreiss (Melrose location is now closed) check out the selection and prices here. Just want to start by saying that my wife and I were very disappointed with this place, our experience with them, and the quality of their work. NOTE: THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK/PRODUCTS. Their customer service was terrible and the owner, Vanessa, was extremely argumentative and unapologetic. She also didn't give us the time of day and acted like we were an inconvenience. Furnishing our home was supposed to be the highlight of our remodel, but due to our experience with Sofas Tables and More, it was the most disparaging part of the whole event. We live in Rancho Cucamonga, so each trip out here was well planned and extremely important as distance was a major factor in our travels (61.5 miles/1.5 hour drive). My wife was very specific in her requests for the couch and the day bed cushions, yet Vanessa just jotted down very lackadaisical notes. Due her laziness and lackluster attitude the finished products were nothing like what my wife had requested. Just a couple examples..... The day bed cushion was supposed to be one long cushion, Vanessa gave us 3 medium cushions instead. The couch was supposed to have silver studs running up and around the couch, Vanessa gave us bronze buttons instead. Being that these pieces were being delivered to us by a friend, no free shipping as advertised on Yelp, and we were give assurance from Vanessa that everything was in order, we didn't not get to see the finished products until they arrived at the house. At that point, we realized that the furniture was not as we ordered it so we gave Vanessa a call. Not only did she deny that there was any problem with the order, but tried to blame it on my wife. She stated that my wife should have reviewed the order...... The order was written by Vanessa in keys and codes that consumers would never be able to understand..... Vanessa did realize that she made a mistake and took partial blame for the cushions, but still lectured my wife. Not only would Vanessa not take responsibility for the mistakes, but she would not pick up the items and correct the mistakes. She stated that, "if we wanted it corrected we had to arrange transportation and pay for the cost of materials." Being that we wanted the problem corrected, we arranged transportation and brought them back to her. After the problem was corrected, 1 month later, we arranged for pickup again and brought them back to the house. Total of 184.5 miles travel and 4.5 hours later the furniture finally arrived back at the house. Just want to say that if you are considering going here, think twice. Make sure that you are cautious and have her triple check her notes and order details as she does not pay attention to what the customer wants and then blames the customer. She says that she sends emails, but we never received any from her. She says that she calls, but we never received any call or voicemail. Also, Vanessa does not like to give out invoices. My wife paid the 50% that was requested of her to start the order and when she requested an invoice Vanessa stated, "I've never been asked for an invoice in the 11 years I have been doing this." She refused to give my wife an invoice or receipt of any kind for the money that we had put down. Looking back there were a lot of red flags, but we learned our lesson and will not be returning customers. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS IF YOU DO DECIDE TO GO HERE!!! read more
