I returned there recently to attempt to purchase an additional piece of furniture. When I entered the store, nobody offered to help me and I had to go on a scouting mission on my own to find the type of table I was looking for. Before I left one of the sales people was helping me, after I approached him. He was supposed to call me last week about purchasing an additional table, and after a week of waiting, I still haven't received a phone call from him. The good: Our house will soon have Arhaus. They have some fancy fabric here that is stain proof but looks super stainable. I was impressed. I got the Polanco dining table but originally came in to view the Telluride dining table. I loved that the table was so interesting looking with the oyster-shell type ash wood look of the table top. I figured it'd be good to get a busy-looking table so that scratches would be less noticeable. I liked the darker color because I wanted contrast with my light floor. Their pieces stand out and look very different from other furniture shops. Customer service at the store was great. They were helpful without being overly pushy. They provided me information sheets in a fancy folder prior to my decision to purchase the table. The bad: Shipping is $200. They didn't have the Telluride table on display (which was why I ended up getting the Polanco because I was able to see it in person). They did, however, have the Telluride sample block for me to see what the color/textures would be like. Everything here is pricey. The interesting: They claim 50% of their materials come from recycled materials. The Polanco table is supposedly from fallen scavenged trees in Mexico. read more

Probably the worst customer service and product I've ever purchased. Bought a grey fabric sectional for over $6k but the slip on covers don't fit. The fabric started to fade and become yellow within a year. The covers will start to droop and become different length's on the bottom and the corner never fit right. Love this place! Talking about the TO location. The furniture is beautiful, we have ordered furniture and bought floor samples for various rooms on and off for years. Just recently grabbed two floor sample couches one was kipton style the other owen, the price was a steal! I just love walking through the store to get decorative ideas and take in the vibe...love to decorate and redecorate. The accessories are great, the cowhide throws are amazing, the glass works...work! Our most prized piece is the glass crank desk. Knowledgeable and helpful salespeople and they don't bug you buy. Arhaus has, I think, some of the worst customer service practices I've experienced from a higher-end furniture retailer. I purchased an item covered by insurance. It got damaged. Montage, the insurer, covered the claim, and per the agreement, I was provided the option to replace it with a like item from Arhaus. I had many challenges: The chair was part of a matching recliner set and couldn't be matched. There were no suitable replacements. Instead, we opted for something different: A chair with an ottoman to replace the recliner. Both items were under the replacement value. The designated Arhaus manager at the San Diego store (we had purchased originally in Torrance) assured us that it wouldn't be a problem to order the two pieces. After waiting for notification of the order #, I inquired and was informed of a technical problem. Not one person was proactive. In all fairness, the manager at La Jolla (who explained that she was stepping out of that role) tried. But, once it got taken over by the manager of the Torrance store, the tenor changed. He was defensive, snarky, and acted "put upon." Since I wasn't paying for the item, they were out to punish me for opting for a replacement vs. cash. Plus, they had switched to another insurer/ He pointed out that we had been provided the wrong information and that the ottoman wasn't included--this was a month after we selected it. I checked the contract. Technically he was right. From a customer loyalty perspective, it was wrong. We had relied on the information from the original manager that it would be covered. A great deal of time had passed. Plus, he was snarky and defensive. I requested that he confirm with his supervisor, "a very busy, IMPORTANT VP." (As the President of a company, I'm chopped liver, I guess). She denied it. I requested a discount on the ottoman. He asked and never received a response. After following up yet again and hearing more excuses, I canceled the ottoman request. I'm still waiting for an order # for the chair. I guess that by the time I receive the chair (if ever), I will no longer need it. This company has mediocre furniture and terrible service. NOT a good combination when there are many better alternatives. I suggest you spend your money and time elsewhere. read more

Once again they have failed. They sent new cores and one did not fit properly, it was made defective and when they tried to insert it into the casing it broke the zipper. They have changed their material and even though it is called the same it is not the same quality and is different. They then sent a core to replace the defective one and it was cut 2" to big all the way around. I have asked for a refund or a whole new couch and no answer yet. This has been going on for close to 2 years with one thing after another not being made correctly. I am now at a point where I am going to file with the State Attorney General's Office and the Consumer Affairs Bureau. I can't even sell the couch if I wanted to as the core is defective and the casing is torn. They are the WORST. read more

Do not order overpriced furniture here! Looks great in the showroom everything else is a nightmare. We Ordered a new dining room set Dec. 5 2021, and have yet to receive all pieces in late June 2022. At this point I have no idea when my final item will come in, and I will have to have the entire purchase paid for prior to even receiving the item- very backwards. I was told originally that the table would deliver in Feb. '21 and dining bench in April "at the latest". My sales associate Noemi "gave me a delay credit" in April which is a complete joke and nothing more than a piece of paper, has yet to show any credit to my actual card account in 3 months and zero follow up from her, after repeated attempts to request clarity. Completely incompetent sales associate who don't seem to care let alone want to help. I've had it! They have just lost a customer who has already spent nearly $8K with them to date. One star is far too high for the experience we've had with this company. We spent thousands on a "custom made" couch and ottoman back in 2021. Somehow our "custom" couch was made incorrectly and the exchange process has been something of a nightmare. It's now a year later and we still don't have the products we've paid for. Staff could not care less if you have the right order, they get paid either way. Company already has your money so they take their time (meaning months-years) getting the right product to you. I'm convinced they haven't even started making our correct order. Not to mention the couch came stained and is already starting to sink in the middle. if I could give this company no stars I would. My complaint isn't with the showrooms but with the post purchase costumer service. We chose Arhaus for their design aesthetic and also the fact that their products were made in America. We constructed a large outdoor covered patio and needed a sofa, four swivel club chairs, four bar stools, a dining table and 10 dining chairs. The Hampton table had strange bubbles on the top that when they popped they revealed the unfinished wood underneath, The concierge service was great about replacing it. The new table has a bubble on it already. The sofa collapsed in the middle and the Arhaus contractor found that none of the springs were attached. The cushions were smashed down. Arhaus replaced it. Then the fabric on the Devon chair slip covers became full of holes...it seems it really isn't an out door fabric. Naasira, the concierge manager, claimed it must have been an animal and wouldn't replace them. So I guess the animal hopped over the Serena and Lily side chairs and ate one end chair, then hopped over and ate the other? come on! Terrible... I bet they end up going out of business. One of THE worst companies I have had the misfortune of working with. Customer service is non-existent. In June 2024, we placed a large order for various pieces of furniture to furnish a new home. As of this review, we still have not received a single piece of furniture from the order despite having paid in full for the "in-stock" furniture that was allegedly "in transit" from one of their warehouses in Ohio or Texas for delivery in the next week or so. This week, expecting a calling to arrange delivery, I received a call claiming that there is an unpaid balance on the account (for additional furniture that is not in stock and to be delivered later this year) and, as such, "someone" canceled the delivery from their out-of-state warehouse until the additional payment is received. I explained the situation to the agent who was of no help. As such, I called the Torrance store to speak with my salesperson, who was not in, and referred to the store manager, Jimmy Nguyen. Jimmy was apparently unavailable as well, but I was told he would call me back shortly. Still waiting this morning, I called again, got a rude salesperson on the line who, once again, passed me on to Jimmy. Jimmy finally picked up at which point having reached my boiling point, I told him I simply wanted to cancel the order as I have no confidence that I will ever receive the merchandise. He said yes and then HUNG UP! No apology! No attempt to resurrect the transaction! Nothing but a dial tone! Having had very favorable experiences with RH, I will take my order to them and NEVER set foot in an ARHAUS store again. In my opinion, companies with such terrible complaints on public sites, including YELP and the Better Business Bureau, are likely to have a short history. I enjoy perusing Arhaus from time to time...something about the eclectic decor that piques my imagination. When I'm stuck in the Pottery Barn blues (I love Pottery Barn, but sometimes I have to kick things up in my decor) Arhaus gives me just what I need. The saturated and bright colors can change a room in seconds flat. Lighting is as interesting as Rejuvenation, about the same price, but here you can see what it looks like in a room where budget has no limit. Furniture is nice (pricey, but what furniture isn't), though I haven't purchased any....yet. I'm obsessed with throws and pillows, candleholders, vases and wallpaper. The wallpaper is gorgeous and will absolutely make a statement in any room. Watch for the clearance deals. I'm not a shopper so if I catch these it's by luck or by chance and last time I scored on some beautifully beaded velvet throw pillows at almost 75% off! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE.Writing this for my mother. If we could leave 0 stars we would. This has been an overall terrible experience in what should have been a very exciting makeover for my mothers living room. My mother ordered a custom couch and wooden console from Arhaus in Torrance back in march. She understood that with covid 19 things would be delayed in terms of delivery so her couches and console didnt arrive until June. On the first delivery pieces of the couch were SEVERELY stained and the wooden console was broken. Even the delivery driver was in shock that these couches were sent out. She sent the couches back and Arhaus offered to clean them, they also offered to send a new console. She agreed this would be fine if they looked like they were still brand new after the cleaning. On the second round of deliveries, one piece of the couch appeared clean however the other one still had the stain! The delivery driver once again noticed before pulling this piece of the couch out so this part of the couch had to go back again! This time my mother asked for a new couch piece to be made because it appeared that this stain would not come out even if it was cleaned again and my mother did not want the couch fabric compromised. My mother kept the "clean"part of the couch. She began to inspect thebpart ofbthe couch that was left later that day and noticed that the staples underneath the couch were completely ripped off and that part of the cloth underneath the couch was hanging off. She texted the store manager David and asked if Debbie, the sales manager, could replace this piece of the couch as well. David texted my mom that it was my moms responsibility to inspect the couch before the delivery driver left and literally blamed her for not noticing the faulty couch that was delivered!!! Ridiculous. After this my mom was very upset and then noticed ANOTHER stain on the backside of the couch. At this point she was very worried as she paid almost 6000 DOLLARS for this couch so she really began inspecting the piece that was left. She noticed along the crease of the couch the fabric wasnt even sewn completely and she could feel the wood paneling of the couch!!! She also noticed the back paneling of the couch was literally not constructed properly and was falling off! At this point my mom started to get really stressed because she began reading all the terrible reviews about Arhaus and decided she no longer wanted the couch after how terribly she saw it was constructed and after the Arhaus team handled the situation so poorly. My mom has been blamed for not inspecting these couches, has had a difficult time getting a hold of anyone, and has been told the sales manager is too busy to handle her proble. Now they are refusing to refund her because its "custom".... DONT GO HERE DONT BUY FROM ARHAUS. Wayfair, overstock, and Living Spaces are much better options with better quality furniture and amazing customer service. The quality of the furniture is truly top notch! I purchased the Dune model sectional sofa in 2018 and I love the natural linen fabric I choose for it! After a year the seat core cushions lost it's support and I called and reported it to the store. The cushions were mailed directly to me, it took a bit of time due to the pandemic. I couldn't put those cushions in by myself, and called for a technician to come out and do the replacement for me. Again, due to pandemic that wasn't available. The Arhaus, Torrance store Manager, David Amuso, said that he could do it for me, as he has replaced many floor model cushions in the store! They arrived in the store for pick up on 8/24/16 All 3 chairs where shipped to the store to save me $150.00 in shipping charges which I appreciated. Now this review has nothing to do with the staff of Arhaus, the quality of my new chairs where nothing short of looking like used outdoor furniture. My 3 chairs all had rust on the surfaces, base and underneath. I'm now awaiting for another 3 chairs to be sent to the store so I can exchange the rusted chairs I received. I was going to purchase one of floor sample white sofa and the staff named Leslie informed us to make a 50% of payment to make a hold of sofa. We went back next day to make a 50% of payment and the manager told me that we need to make a full payment in order to hold the sofa on the floor. Well, I was a bit upset of the fact that the staff didn't inform us the right rule (making extra trips) but tried to understand because we all make mistakes! But the worst part was when the manager told me that even after making full payment (over $4000) they refused to move the sofa from the floor because they can't leave the floor empty. It's a linen white sofa and I was going to spend over $4000! Who would want to waste their money knowing that your white sofa will be touched by other people for next 2 weeks? What kind of rule is that? The manager had horrible attitude which almost made me to think that she is not happy with her job at all. Compeltely unprofessional! This is the worst company I have ever come across. Not only is the staff extremely stuck up, they won't ever do their dam job. I was in this location easily 5 months ago now. The first time I stepped in, the sales people would not even acknowledge me. I was not dressed fancy, so they saw another patron with no cash not worth their time. I had to ask for a sales person multiple times, to show me stuff up stairs. Each time they said they would send someone up, and never once did anyone come. And I was the ONLY person in there, so I left Came back a few days later, as I still wanted the items hoping this time I would get help. Same situation walk in no one willing to help, just standing around on their asses. I again asked for help this time the same woman who ignored me last time, got off her azz to show me what I wanted. The entire time she was brushing me off, because I was asking for a lot of high value items. I had to force her to give me a total price, which was around $3500 when I said ok how about I pay in cash can you give me a better deal. She smirked and laughed and give me this look of yeah right kid, and flat out said no Now I searched for these items in different stores, and I could not find that specific table I wanted anywhere. I had no choice I had to buy it from this company. So got my cash went to the store, that same woman was there again. Yet again she ignored me, I was the only person in the store. Yet she just stood there refusing to look at me or acknowledge I was there. After 15 minutes of me standing by the table I wanted, I finally called her over. I said sorry to bother you since I know you were busy, and she just gave me this sour ass look. I said I wanted to buy this table now, and she said let me get someone to help you and walked away. I mean WTF do I have to become an employee to buy shit form here!!!! After another 15 minutes and no one come around. I went back to the woman tossed the cash on her counter and said, I am buying that dam table NOW THIS conceded woman finally was super eager to help me. I purchased the table and a bunch of chairs. I asked about a warranty plan, she said there is one but buy it after you get the items to ensure you like what you purchased as the warranty is not refundable. So I took her suggestion paid the bill, and was told delivery I will be notified in a week or 2 max for delivery. 4 weeks went by no phone call no email no nothing. I called to store to ask what was going on, as I was told the items were in stock. I was not being told the items were not in stock and I had to wait. One month passes and still no items. It took 2 months for them to finally deliver the items, and guess what. The chairs were miss matched, some had different tops than the others. And they were dirty and scratched like they were used I called in to voice my opinion and my extremely disappointment. And at the same time to get the warranty, since the items had arrived. I was then told I can't do the warranty because it has to be purchased before delivery. That was NOT what I was told, now I am stuck with mismatched furniture that took wayyy to long to get to me. I proceeded to argue with them now about the warranty and all they would say is there is nothing we can do So I told them take all this crap back, I don't want any of your shit in my house anymore. Then all the sudden I am put on with a manager, who before was never available and would never call me back. He proceeded to tell me they will fix the issues. He will swap out all the items with new pieces, to fix the damage and mismatched ones. And at the same time can add on the warranty for $300 since there is a swap. I bitched told him to cover it because of the length of time it took, and the experiences I had. He knocked off $100 and I said ok what ever. Again the same crap happens, another month passes before a delivery is made. And again I am sent mismatched chairs I called in and said I was sent the same mismatched stuff but by this time I was past caring. I just wanted the warranty because the quality in the store felt way stronger than what I was delivered. The manager said I will be emailed the warranty with in a week. Over a month passes multiple phone calls still never get a warranty. Again I call back this time the manager helping me or not helping me was fired, and they have a new manager. I explain to him in detail what happened. And he promises to fix it, that was now 4 weeks ago to the day. And still I have not received my warranty STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE THIS COMPANY. Over the last 2 years, we have bought about A LOT of Arhaus furniture (sectional, ottoman, dining table, swivel chairs, captain chairs, coffee table, etc). I truly love the style of Arhaus, but the quality of the furniture is inconsistent, especially for the cost (i.e. dining table finish is already chipping, fabric of certain furniture is unraveling (and we upgraded to their highest end fabric), etc). I don't think I'd invest in main furniture items from there again, but since I love their style, I was looking at some of the accent/decor pieces. I have been seriously considering getting this beaded floor lamp for about 4 months now and the price has been $799. I noticed last week the price jumped up to $1,099 and I thought...hmm, that's odd. Then of course today I noticed the "sale price" is $799. Needless to say, that is so slimy and deceptive marketing that it has officially turned me off from buying from there again. So please know, the "sale" is most likely not really a sale. read more
