Sodavine, I had a simple logical explanation of why I would like 2 cups for the same drink... Because the 44oz spilled all over my car. I'm upset because I would've liked to have the employees split the drink into two cups in the shop. Rather I got charged for the extra cup, okay. But I wanted it split... To prevent the cup from ripping again & spilling all over my car last time... Please learn from this & do better... Like I thought my idea was simple enough to follow... My days of Soda Vine were in 2016-2017. Those were days before I had yelp. I love Soda Vine. From other reviews, things seem like they've gone down hill since I've been, but back in the day it was amazing. For college kids just looking for a taste good treat, that may or may not have some caffeine, it was prime. Not bad pricing, and I always felt like it was quality. My roommate and I were in the drive thru once a week, maybe twice a week. We mainly had drinks, but occasionally we would have a cookie, never disappointed. My favorite is 'nailed it' add some cream and that is all I need. Every place I've been to since coming here, I have them try to make that mixture. I've had other drink mixes on the menu and they've been good, but I always come back to 'nailed it'. I would recommend them 10/10 times. I only gave 4 stars because it's been some time since I've visited, but I still believe there is something there that should be noted. read more

We love all the workers, but the older lady with the braids, blonde, the hat, and glasses. Is RUDE we have stopped going to soda vine due to her. She is rude to customers, and doesn't smile, she is mean. My friend feels the same way about her. If she is the first line of customer service, then they need to work on customer service. They need to hide her in the back, she shouldn't be dealing with customers. They have so many nice people that work there. So why put her in the front. Last night 31 JULY 2020 I walked into Soda Vine and was warmly greeted by the sweetest girl with such a bright smile and radiant demeanor. Customer service at its finest right off the bat! We ordered nachos and she made sure that we had the perfect amount of cheese and the perfect size of chips. No chip crumbs served here! Our nachos were so divine!!! Because of our exceptional service and the good food, we wanted to leave a tip and found out her name was Jacqueline. This company is very cheap. Not in their pricing, but in the way they run their business. They also mistreats their employees. Good sodas and I love this place because unlike some other soda places, they have the purées. But my drink gets messed up almost every single time I go... It's happened almost 10+ times but I've never went back and said anything. I always ask for diet soda and more than half the time it's normal soda. I think it might be because they start making my drink before I even finish telling them what I want. I get that they're trying to be fast, but it's a little frustrating when it gets messed up SO much. I've been to SodaVine a few times, and I've never really been incredibly impressed. Most of my treats and sodas have kind of just ended up flat. For example, I recently got a butter beer and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. My oatmeal chocolate chip cookies honestly tasted like it's been in the freezer for a few days and the butter beer was 90% straight ice and about 10% actual soda. Not worth it. The staff aren't the most enthusiastic, they honestly just feel overly busy so they can't keep up with everything. Overall, there are so many soda shops in Rexburg that this location just doesn't really cut it in terms of the other options that are out there. Heard about Soda Vine through a friend and so we figured we would stop by on our way through town. This place is the absolute cutest little soda pop shop! I was with a group of six so we all got different flavor of sodas, ranging from Wanna Wanda to Tickled Pink to Dreamsicle to Audry Hepburn. Really fun place for mixed sodas and treats. Service is hit & miss. They don't have enough employees staffed during the busy times. It's clean-ish. They don't always clean off the tables when customers leave. The trash can had ants crawling out of it when I went in on 11/8 in the evening. On that particular evening I waited over 20 minutes for a soda & scotcharoo. The drive thru tends to block off traffic in the street a lot. I love me some lime Rickey but have never found a place in Las Vegas that even knows what they are. When we decided to move back to Idaho I was so excited to see Soda Vine in Rexburg. Such a cute little soda shop decorated like a throwback soda counter. I got a lime Rickey (duh!) and it was YUMMY. My husband got a diet dr. Pepper with a shot of sugar free vanilla. They pour the vanilla a little heavy handed-he said next time he would ask for "half a shot". The service wasn't super great-frankly the girl seemed a little irritated that she had to take our order, and they weren't even busy. I recently went to Soda Vine, I got a sugar cookie with pink frosting (which always comes partially frozen) and also a scotcheroo. I was very disappointed with the scotcheroo. I did not realize till I got home that it was a lot smaller than they normally are and also was significantly thinner. Go through the drive thru (the restaurant's interior and its food are nothing to write home about) and order the Dr. Pepper with vanilla flavoring mixed in. I really enjoy soda vine but today I had a terrible customer service experience that dropped them from 4 to 2 stars. They have this combo deal where if you order a pretzel a sauce and a 16oz drink it costs a little less. Well I ordered two of these by asking for the two drinks and then the two pretzels and their sauces. And then I paid. After I paid I realized I was charged a lot. When I talked to the cashier about it he said it was my job as the customer to inform him of the deal. But I feel that it is the job of the worker to give the customers the beat deal especially since they know the menu better than a customer does. This place is very cheap, and I appreciate that. The sodas offered are just a few dollars, and they taste amazing. However, Sodavine's owners are just as cheap. They tried to get their brand out there by publishing a coupon in a coupon book handed out, which is good business practice. What isn't good business practice though, and what I have beef with, is the fact that once enough people tried to use the coupon, they quickly realized they either couldn't afford the two uses printed on the coupon, or didn't want to. So they are now refusing to honor their deal. This puts a bad taste in my mouth, (pun intended) and honestly I'll be going elsewhere with my money. Across the street to Great Scotts.
