I had to reach out, via email, to find out what the toppings were on the Easter apples (mini marshmallows for the lambs and white chocolate for the bunny butts) and what type of covering was on the apple pie apple, as well. Customer Service Speaking of emailing, the customer service was outstanding. I got responses to my emails on weekends and even after hours. There as a bit of confusion regarding my shipping date and method, and the owner even followed up with me to check on my delivery. Price Value I compared them to several other online sellers (including Etsy) AND local shop (Kilwin's). They are priced very competitively. The apples are also considerably larger than Kilwin's. See photos. Taste Here's where they knock it out of the park. The apple tasted SO delicious. The toppings were generous and the apple itself was fresh, juicy and crunchy. I was very nervous about ordering apples online. I had major concerns about freshness and how the chocolate would hold up during shipping. I'm pleased to say that the products looked and tasted like they were whipped up in a local kitchen earlier that morning. And this was a shipment from Idaho to Georgia!!! I would also like to say the apples held up insanely well. Because I didn't understand the ordering process / ship date, our apples didn't arrive in time for our Easter Baskets. (There was also an issue caused by all the drama happening at the USPS Palmetto GA mail distribution center.) We ate one apple right away and wound up putting one apple in the fridge before we went to south Ga for a repair project. Roughly four weeks later, I was cleaning out the fridge and, sadly, I was going to toss it because I figured it would have gone mushy. My sweetie told me not to throw it away - said to give it to him so he could eat the toppings. I rolled my eyes and told him ok, but to let me break the toppings off so that he didn't make it mess. I won't bore you with the details of the ensuing conversation where he accused me of treating him like a child. Lol. Imagine my surprise when I unwrapped the apple and started cutting into it only to discover that the doggone apple was still perfectly fine. I cut it into wedges and we scarfed it down. It was SOOOO good. I Googled it and apparently it's a thing. Caramel apples will routinely hold up for 2 - 3 weeks. Overall Overall, I think the company is great. Several services we paid for were either not provided as agreed or were handled in an unacceptable manner. Bar Service: Our quote stated 4 hours of bar service and did not say that setup, cleanup, or takedown would be deducted from those hours. We were also told the bar was closing because all guests had returned to the house, which was not true. Several guests were still outside and wanted to continue socializing and having drinks. Vodka: I specifically requested a particular vodka because it is what I personally drink. We were told one liquor store did not carry it, but no alternative store or option was explored, and we were never contacted to discuss a replacement. This was my wedding, and I expected a specific request we paid for to be honored. Alcohol: We were given/charged a $500 alcohol allowance but received only one bottle of each liquor. We still have not received a clear explanation of how the $500 was allocated or why the full value was not reflected in what was provided. Speaker Rental: We paid for a speaker rental but did not receive a working speaker. My husband was told they already knew they did not have a working speaker and therefore did not bring one or the necessary cords. We were told a refund was due, but approximately three weeks later, we still had not received it. S'mores: If a burn ban prevented the s'mores setup, we should have been informed beforehand. We were told the supplies we paid for would be left for us, but they were taken back by the company. We believe we should receive a refund for this package since the service and supplies were not provided as agreed. Signage: The requested signage was not displayed, and we were never informed beforehand that it would not be provided. Communication: The lack of communication was one of the most frustrating parts of the experience. I had to contact two email addresses, two phone numbers, and Facebook Messenger before finally receiving a response. This was after we had already paid more than $6,000. Even after receiving a response, the company has been unwilling to provide refunds or otherwise make things right for services and items we paid for but did not receive. We understand that unexpected circumstances can happen at an event. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, conflicting explanations, and refusal to take responsibility when paid services are not delivered. A wedding should be a time for the couple to enjoy their day, not a time to worry about whether contracted services will actually be provided or spend weeks trying to get answers afterward. Unfortunately, we were left extremely frustrated and disappointed. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company for an important event.
