The instructors have such a unique approach--while they make everything look easy, don't be fooled. You might find yourself complaining. No but seriously, The workouts are challenging and push your body in the best way. Danielle, the owner, has created an environment that is safe, and welcoming for women of all ages and sizes, where everyone is encouraged to go after a healthier lifestyle. One thing that really stood out to me about Danielle is her integrity. From day one, I've noticed that she holds herself to the same standards she asks of her clients. The fairness she applies to her classes, combined with her unwavering commitment to the rules and values, sets the tone for the entire gym community. She leads by example, and it shows. Every class I've attended has been a rewarding experience, and there are so many different types of workouts available to help you continue improving. One byproduct of attending has been the boost in my mood since some days are just rough. I found that moving my body started to help with my mental health. If you're considering taking a class here, I highly recommend it! Yes, it's an investment, but your body is your most valuable asset, and taking care of it is worth every penny. The positive energy from the group of women who attend is also incredibly motivating. If you're looking to start or elevate your fitness journey, this is the place to do it!

He listens to what you are trying to achieve and always comes up with workouts that help you meet your goals and are not boring, factoring in any injuries. I have knee issues and Dennis came up with exercises that would help with that in addition to my targets of losing weight and gaining overall strength. My physiotherapist was very happy with the progress that I made in my personal training sessions to the point where physiotherapy was no longer needed. He was always on time for our sessions and prompt to reply to any messages. The packages he offers are great value for the service you receive. I highly recommend.

I've been an athlete since I was a wee one. Every sport grabs me. What comes with being an athlete is also injuries. And a knowledge of what my bod can do. And ha, can't do. A great athlete himself, Dennis understands how important form is. He keeps an eye out for the perfect form in every single exercise. He takes good care in saving you from any injury. For example, Dennis gives you an alternative for ea exercise so when he demonstrates one and I'm wide eyed thinking there ain't no way, at least for the time being, I'll try that alternative and as per him, it's as strengthening as the other and I can tell you it is. Dennis loves what he does. His passion is unmatched and I've been training with a bunch of trainers over the yrs. Equinox, Crunch and more. Dennis is proud of who he is and of how much he knows. Lucky me to train with someone with that kind of passion and energy. I live near Fort Greene and love (ha, a love/hate relationship) running up and down the steps over the last 5 years. At the top at the monument, I noticed a group being trained by an amazing trainer. It was Dennis. Who know I'd be working with him a couple of yrs later. I'm very fortunate to have found Dennis thru a glowing review from one of his clients. This is another glowing review. Once you start training with Dennis, you'll be here next writing your glowing review. Dennis is more than worth it.

I first came in because of an offer for a first class free. My rep showed me how everything worked, including the heartbeat monitor on the arm band, which they give you for free on your first visit. An instructor walked me around the studio explaining the class format and made sure I was comfortable with water and a towel. When class started he periodically checked in with me but was not overbearing. I loved how while everyone worked out individually, seeing everyone's stats on the screen did make it feel like a team effort. I really appreciated learning about the different heart rate "zones" and later did research on this when I got home. My sales rep explained the pricing tiers yet was not pushy which I appreciated and I signed up within the week. The app made it very easy to book, see stats, etc. The club has fun challenges each month and really does have a sense of community. It was always clean and you can tell instructors here really care about the members. I only quit because I ended up moving to another neighborhood but this gym truly did change my physique while I was a member, making me stronger and noticeably had an impact on my cardio endurance. I'd recommend this gym to anyone.

The classes keep me on track, and I'm seeing real results. I never, ever thought I'd be someone who enjoys jogging on a treadmill, but now I actually look forward to it. Coach Maddy brings great energy and creative themed classes. I love Coach Frankie's music picks--they make early morning workouts go by faster. And Coach Nai has a great way of offering helpful tips without making anything feel awkward. Luke is always so welcoming at the front desk. This location stands out for its thoughtful amenities: they offer gym and shower towels and a full locker room--something you don't always find at other storefront studios. OTF Park Slope is also a fun way to meet more people in the neighborhood, and the Instagram shout-outs add a nice touch of motivation. I hope corporate OTF will upgrade the app and the fitness band to more modern tech - I'd love AI analysis of my stats. I recommend Orangetheory Park Slope to anyone looking for a fresh, encouraging way to get into fitness.
