I'm frequently at this location, this is the one stop shop for the surrounding cities since they have everything you would need for soccer. Youth, adult, etc and they even make jerseys if you need something quick for the pick up games at Spectrum or the Box nearby. They also have a special sale every 3rd Sunday where any purchases get a 20-30% discount. I've been a loyal customer for about 6 years going on now. Excellent one stop soccer shop. My 5 year old just joined soccer and we thought we would check out this local place before going to a chain sports store. I'm glad we did, and I don't see us going anywhere else for our soccer needs in the future. We were helped by a very kind woman named, Maria. She helped my daughter find shoes, shin guards, a ball, socks, and shorts with in minutes. She was also very patient and sweet with my crazy 2 year old who was hell bent on trying to climb things. They don't work on commission so they are not pushy at all. Price wise it was very reasonable. They have a starter pack for kids that comes with a ball, shoes and shin guards for 29.99. They also offer 10% off your next visit with a copy of your previous receipt. I also think they are having a store wide 20% off sale towards the end of March. Really needed xxs white shorts but there wasn't any in stock. The lady said she ordered some and wouid be there by Sunday which would be too late so I thought let me try the xs in blue because my 3 year old wasn't there and see if the blue fit so at least he'll have a pair if they do fit. They didn't and I called back during the week to see if the white ones came in and she said they are back ordered. I also needed a small sock that can fit him, the lady who worked there said the adidas she carried was the smallest. Well I trusted her expertise and got two pair so I didn't have to wash them often. This is all without knowing the return policy instead she could of suggested instead of taking my money that I bring my son in to try since you don't take items back to refund Only a store credit As a parent trying to find toddler items is tough and not everything will fit. How can I take a store credit if I don't know I'll be able to shop here. I just tried to return them because who knows if you'll get a white short in and although the return policy is on your counter I'm not looking down at it especially if your reps work there they know it. It would be great customer service if they tell you instead of assuming you read everything taped off to the right on a counter. My shorts I bought don't fit and the socks don't either so I'm asking the owner to make an exception and return these perfectly good shorts with tags & unused socks still in it's holder to my cc I used. read more

It's hard to find a store that specializes in just soccer gear, but Soccer City does, and they represent the Dallas soccer community extremely well. First of all, since they carry only soccer gear, it's nice not to have to dig through basketball shorts, golf clubs, and tennis skirts to find soccer stuff. They have brilliant selections of cleats, shin guards, balls, bags, and replica jerseys. Even if soccer isn't your thing, it may be your kid's thing, or your boyfriend's thing, and this store will be a good resource for birthday gifts for them. They carry replica jerseys from the Mexican and South American leagues, as well as the European leagues and the MLS. Also, at Soccer City, you can order team jerseys or have them slap a number on a t-shirt for you. They carry adult and kid sizes, and they usually have a good sale going on. They always have a rack of shorts on clearance, or a bin of socks for $3. Last Saturday when I was there, they had both. This is a small "mom and pop" shop. They don't have a large stock of gear in the back -they keep everything out on the floor. When it isn't soccer season, their stock is in really limited supply as they tend to only stock up pre-season. I've been shopping here for years and I know this, but some newcomers don't. The stock in most traditional soccer stores dwindle in the off-season. It just the way soccer life works; along with other soccer life facts like the older you get, the more you enjoy water breaks and that most refs suck. FYI - this store has a strict "no returns" policy, and it is posted throughout the shop and on the receipt. They will, however, let you do an exchange. read more

Short story - don't go here. They want you to give them your money for whatever they have in stock, whether or not it works for you. They do not perform well as trusted advisers on soccer, shoes, etc. They just want your cash. I needed some new shoes for soccer and, I think to myself, "Soccer City" sounds like the *perfect* city to visit for such a thing. I walk in and explain that I would like some shoes well-suited to playing soccer on the local fields, specifically the fields located locally at Lookout Park, about three miles from the store. I explain that I am concerned about just grabbing a traditional cleat, given the generally hard, dry ground we tend to encounter locally. But hey, since these fields are in their neighborhood, they should know exactly what I mean. The clerk quickly becomes uncertain about the specificity of my request and hands me off to the manager, "A.J." (or maybe "Ajay"). He listens to me and then seems to more or less randomly grab a shoe with a traditional cleat. I then ask if that would be good on firm ground? He says, "no". So, I repeat what I said. Then he seems to randomly grab another shoe. After a few times of this, it feels like we finally get on the same page and he starts offering advice and shoes that make more sense (or maybe we just ran out of bad suggestions). I try on a pair and I suggest they feel a bit too tight. He tells me, with an air of convincing authority, that is good and that I should want that. I notice that they keep a tally of sizes on the back of the tags and that they do not have the next size up in stock, so I confirm and he reassures me that this size is ideal. So, I go off and try them. After a one-hour practice, it feels like I have been smashing my toes into a wall for an hour. I go back to the store. The manager recognizes me. Me: "Hello, this size is hurting my feet, can I get the next size up? Story #1 - No, we don't have that in stock. *No one* has that in stock. You can't find it anywhere. [Spoiler alert, when I got home, I found numerous places to buy them in the desired size] Me: "OK, when might you get that size in?" Them: "Mid-December." [Note: it is August] Me: "Umm, that won't work. I need the shoes now, I have a practice in an hour and our games start in a week or two. Can I just get a refund?" Story #2 - Oh no way, we can't do that. Our systems don't allow us to refund credit cards. Me: "You have no way to provide a refund to anyone?" Story #2 (continued) - Well, I *could* write a check, but I have *never* done that before. Me: "Look, I would be happy to just trade these for the next size up. I am not trying to get any money out of you, I just want shoes that don't injure my feet. You assured me this size would work, it did not. I just want shoes that work." Story #2 (continued) - Silence. He just sort of stands there, then wanders off to help a customer without saying anything else. Sidenote: The other customer was *really* pissed off when I walked in, berating the clerk for jerking shoes out of her kids' hands and "trying to tell her she can't buy the shoe she wants". Eventually, the manager wanders silently towards the register, so I follow him. Out comes the check book. It appears to be emotionally traumatic for him to open it up. Him: "Do you have the receipt?" Me: "No, I did not expect to bring them back, but you know me, you remember the shoes, and you have the price tag." He reluctantly continues. Then he starts fumbling about in the box. And now we get to story #3. Story #3 - "A ha! you have worn these! I cannot sell these as new! I cannot help you!" "Yes, of course I wore them, I told you that when I came in, that is how I knew they injured my feet. And I only wore them for one practice" [For the record, they were still like new in smell and appearance. I wore clean socks, the field was dry, etc. He did not even notice they had been used until he saw a tiny spot of dust inside one of the tongues...which could easily be cleaned/brushed off.] Then he went on about how he does not give any advice, it's my fault if I chose those shoes, etc., etc. I remind him of the size discussion. He repeats himself. Then he launches in the "I cannot sell these as new!" part of his argument. "I cannot sell these as new!" So, it continued like this and, I kid you not, he would just stare at me defiantly and reply with "I cannot sell these as new!" over and over. So, finally, I just made an explicit statement. "OK, I understand that you cannot sell these as new. You assured me that even though they seemed a bit tight in the store, they would be perfect on the field. You are unable to give me the size I need, so I am stuck with a pair of unusable shoes. But, just to be clear, there is *nothing* you are willing to do to make this right. I waited and repeated myself, to insure we understood each other. Well, you won't fool me twice. read more

I can't thank them enough! My husband started coaching soccer and it was quite the whirlwind as we acquired the team about a week before our first game. I went to soccer city and they really helped answer all of our questions and really helped us with all of our needs. They even let us check out uniforms to take to practice so the team knew exactly what they were getting and the sizing. So we ordered uniforms for the entire team through them as soon as possible. We did however play our first games without uniforms (thanks to the leagues disorganization NOT soccer city) and when I went in to plead my case about the kids not having uniforms yet, the staff at soccer city went above and beyond to help solve my problem even though they had no part in causing it! They were within the promised time frame yet they still helped me as much as possible. They have earned my business in so many ways and I can't thank them enough! This store is the all-time worst store you could ever deal with the staff is ignorant rude tells one lie after another. for instance yesterday I called and told them about an incident that occurred where they missed measured my son. He told me his toes are hurting the entire game Saturday which was the first time he were these turf shoes and I actually thought he was trying to make an excuse not to play When I picked him up yesterday also wearing the same size shoe he was telling me his toes are killing him so I went to go to Dick's and purchased two pairs of shoes for him. The owner was supposed to call me last night never happened you were supposed to call me this morning that employee that answered the phone said he called and left a iMessage I don't have any of that from him so I called now at 1:16 PM and he refused to take back the shoes. Reason being he wants me to bring my son back to the store so he can personally measure him. The store is about 30 minutes from my house not happening! I'm suffering from a life-threatening disease and I don't have time for this crap. When I asked this so-called manager last night to look up the transaction and gave her the transaction number she said the owner has all that information and he's gone for the day and it's taken off site and it was about roughly 6:45 last night and I said that doesn't make sense you said the owner is not there but yet he comes every night to take all the transactions home with him as well as the cash. the ee was dumbfounded. They refuse to credit me for the shoes I told him I would send them back the shoes I would bring them back the shoes I got my mom to take me there. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. My experience started with getting help with design for my jersey and logo for our kiddos new team. I have never coached before so I did not know the process and they walked me through every step. Helping me pick out designs that would fit our team. Once ordered we had a little hiccup in miscommunication but they did everything they could to fix and diffuse my freak out. We have been going to soccer city for over 10 years between our 2 kids and will continue to go there. I wish I could remember everyone's name that has helped over the last few weeks. But I know I owe Maria some coffee or cocktail and Lorenz or Lauren (sorry) was great at diffusing the situation. Another young women (I wish I could remember her name) with curly hair is great at helping with uniforms and getting everyone to laugh and the guys in the back are great with the kids, helping to make trying on cleats and picking out balls fun for the kids. If you need anything soccer, this is the place to go! Even over the holiday's, Maria may not remember, but she helped me get some gifts for angels that my company had adopted for Christmas and I will never forget that. Very unprofessional staff; I feel that they must have a bias against England because every time I inquire about Eng merch they not only are not very knowledgeable about it but seem to treat me rudely when i have questions. I also made the mistake of having them put my Wayne Rooney number/name kit on my expensive England authentic jersey because the guy wasn't knowledgeable enough to not put the three lions seal on the bottom of the number but he put it on the top.(in other words up side down) The most appalling part was how they reacted to the mistake.
