During Covid time, I hate to say bad things about businesses trying to survive, so I'll say this: The wings I had from here were okay. I'm not sure if they're made to order, or precooked and then sauced according to order; but my order was ready when I got to there (10 minutes after I placed the order). I checked them when I got into my car, and half of them were already cold. Add to this disappointment the fact that I was charged full price and not the $.85 each for the Wednesday special. They have this 2 person meal special where its 15 wings with 2 sides and 2 sodas. I took the opportunity and got 10 garlic parmesan tradional wings with 5 traditional buffalo wings for my friend. We also got 1 order of tater tots (AWESOME!) and he got the side of fried zucchini. The lady on the phone said that their soda machine was broken so you can order boba drinks! WOW! Super awesome. We went ahead and go 2 thai teas. I drove down and parking is relatively small but found a spot. Walk in and was greeted by the lady at the front. Both employees working there from what I saw were following PPE guidelines so thats good. I literally walked in, paid, the other lady brought the food while the cashier girl made the drinks and was gone. The food was awesome. More of an asian take on chicken wings. Their garlic parmesan wings were dry rubbed and they were pretty big! Honestly 10 will fill up any person immediately. I have to also mention how much sides you get. It comes in a small paper bag but its FILLED TO THE BRIM with whatever sides you order. The thai teas were tasty as well. Overall I believed I paid around $25 for the 2 person meal. For the price I paid and the amount of food we got that's a pretty damn good deal. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a chicken wing fix! I'm rating this place an average of 4 stars. My usual order consists of the 10-piece deal with house special and lemon pepper flavors. Sometimes I'll get a side; the creamy coleslaw and tater tots (order extra crispy) are my favorites. When I first tried them back in 2018, they were so good! I would order to go almost every 1-2 weeks. Pretty bummed that the quality kind of went down since then or maybe there haven't been enough orders due to the pandemic so it's not as fresh lately? For the price and size of the portions, it's not too bad. I've had wings from other places that look like they came from teacup chickens. The size of these wings are decent, not big but decent. I also like the amount of sauce. It helps that the wings are cooked with the sauce so the meat has some of the flavor...unlike some places that give you a teaspoon of sauce in a baby ass plastic container. You know who you are! While this place has given me some disappointing food at times, they've also given me some bomb ass food so I'd still be willing to get their food again in the future. My wife loves the fusion buffalo fries with nothing but sauce and fries. Its so delicious! You will not be disappointed eating here. They now have or serve you water pitchers, its that crushed ice that gets you! You also dont have to keep asking to refill your 1 cup of water, its pretty neat! We narrowly escaped two distracted drivers (both on their phones) and found this place on the corner of Beach and Hazard, fairly hidden from anyone coming down Beach from the Huntington Beach side. If you make a right down Hazard and pass the little shopping center immediately on your right, you've gone too far. Our food was already ready (early) when we arrived. We took it home and had a little "wing date" in our living room while watching South Park. We tried Fusion Buffalo, Mango Madness, Garlic Parmesan, Flaming Phoenix, and Red Curry. His favorite turned out to be Mango Madness and mine is Red Curry. These are some of the biggest wings I've ever seen and they are SO flavorful. Literally dripping with flavor. We were armed with a roll of paper towels to clean ourselves up after we were done. And the Red Curry wings legitimately taste like Thai food. We also had a large order of the seasoned fries. We will have plenty of leftovers. We might have been ordering with our stomachs as opposed to our eyes when we ordered five 5-piece wings and a large fry, but all this food came in for around $40 so we're not even mad. The wings were covered in creamy Garlic sauce with shreds of hard Parmesan to add a cheesy kick. Even though the wings were drenched in sauce, it didn't prevent the chicken from having a crispy crunchy exterior. The meat was juicy and tender with lots of flavor from the sauce. The house special tasted like the honey teriyaki topped with candied jalapeno slices. The flavor for this one was delicious with the contrasting taste of sweet and spicy. Again, the exterior of the chicken wings were crispy too and wasn't completely drenched in sauce. My group of 3 people ordered the family meal for 30 wings which was way more than we could finish. We had the house special, lemon pepper, and garlic Parmesan along with 2 large sauces of ranch and Cajun. I also ordered an avocado smoothie. The chicken tasted alright to me. Nothing special but it wasn't bad. I guess I expected a little too much because the pictures looked really delicious. When my order came out, it did look appetizing. The lemon pepper tastes sweet and the garlic parmesan was a lot cheesier than I would've liked it. The first few bites were good but the amount of flavor is too much for me. I would've rather preferred the flavors to tone down. The avocado smoothie was definitely powdered based. It was sweet and creamy but not something I would want to order again. I'm very disappointed with this place. It seems like the quality has gone down. The lemon pepper, house special and mango madness was mediocre. The chicken didn't seem to taste fresh. Maybe it was old oil they used? The chicken skin wasn't crispy, they were more soggy really. The French fries was probably cooked in the same oil and they were not crispy. They tasted very stale. The mango madness sauce wasn't even spicy either. We actually phoned our order in and I asked her which deal was cheaper, the wing wednesday or the big family meal. I asked her to give us the cheaper deal and when we got there, she didn't even bother to try to figure it out and just charged us the more expensive price. I started the review with a 4 star rating but couldn't really justify it. Solid 3.5 star experience. Some pros and cons here. I would drop them to 3 because there were more things that didn't impress me than things that did. We came in around 38 minutes before they closed. All the other ones did not impress me to be honest I would give them a 3. The mango one barely had any sauce on it and the jalapeño rub had so much jalapeño slivers but the wings tasted bland and under seasoned. It fell short. The garlic buffalo was just not that impressive. It's subpar buffalo sauce and didn't even taste the garlic. The fries were definitely stale. I used to work in a restaurant when I was in high school and it tasted like the fries were sitting out and they just dropped them back in the frier to reheat them. This creates a stale, crunchy, dry, greasy fry that no customer should have to eat. The ranch was lacking flavor too. Just kind of there but didn't add that sharp, creamy, tangy flavor that I love in ranch. Overall, the Asian hot wings were so good that I might come back and try the other wings.
