finally came back here after i haven't been in years and everything was just as good as i remembered! it's a small casual establishment with a handful of tables to dine in and they've even added a claw machine inside with cute plushies. staff is always friendly and helpful. my boyfriend and i ordered their 15 piece set that comes with two sides, two drinks, and sauces and just getting this order you can smell how good everything was. super fresh, piping hot, crispy, and the rubs/sauces were delicious! our favorite was probably the hot lemon pepper and that's been a favorite of mine since middle school cause they just do it so good. only negative thing i'd say is that they did give us 12 pieces instead of 15, but it was still more than enough food for just the two of us. if im ever craving fried chicken, id definitely be back here
Fish Sauce Wings are great.... The rest I wouldn't get again. Got the fish sauce wings, spicy garlic parm, side of ranch, and fusion Thai tea. Fish sauce wings were spiced nicely, and both wings frankly had a good crunch, the garlic parm were just underwhelming. The ranch was not good. And the fusion Thai tea was overly sweet, and not too sure how it would differ from the regular one. Again, fish sauce ones were worth getting again. Came out decently quick, but didn't eat in, so can't speak to ambiance.
I went to socal wings recently for a birthday party where they lovingly catered some delicious wings for us! The store itself is very nice and cozy with lots of decor and plenty of seating. When you walk in you will be immediately drawn in by the scent of the food. Their wings are incredible! My favorite flavors were the buffalo and lemon pepper with ranch. And another big plus surprisingly were the drinks! Their thai tea and chamoy mango drink were AMAZING!!! Last but not least, the service here was one to die for. Chris and Chenda were incredible hosts and so kind to all of us. Chris is very funny and Chenda is such an easy person to talk to and you can feel their kindness and passion for their store. If you are ever around this area I highly recommend checking out So Cal Wings!
come here for the house special flavor wing. Definitely needs rice though imo so get a side of that! They had a new flavor - hot honey lemon pepper very good Mango habanero flavor - did not like at all. Tasted like a sweet chamoy candy Jsut garlic - plain and simple. I really like this one too Buffalo garlic - American flavor classic. Good with ranch. Their Cajun fries were so crispy and seasoned well, lightly battered. The zucchini fries were killer. They let you get 5 wings per flavor which is very generous compared to others
Probably my favorite wing spot. They have an extensive menu of flavors here! My favorite has to be their new Cajun garlic butter which is loaded. You really can't go wrong with any flavor here, but my favorites are definitely the honey garlic sriracha, spicy garlic parm, and th Cajun garlic butter. The owners are always so sweet and helpful if you're having a hard time deciding, but you really can't go wrong with any flavor. $1.25 wing Wednesdays are the move, and is definitely one of my new go tos!
This wing spot is hands down one of my favorites! My boyfriend & I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. They've got great family deals, and while prices have gone up (like everywhere else), the flavors and quality have stayed consistently amazing. The food is always fresh and fried to perfection. I usually stick to the wings, but I also love the SoCal fries topped with boneless wings, plus their tater tots and fries are always a hit. The whole family has their own favorite flavors, and honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of them. My personal go tos are the Honey Garlic Sriracha, Mango Madness, and House Special. I've tried most of the menu over the years, and everything has been delicious. Service here is always friendly and reliable. They answer the phone quickly, take orders accurately, and make sure everything's ready when you show up. It's a small hole in the wall kind of place with limited seating, but we've never had trouble finding a table when we want to dine in. Most people grab their orders to go anyway. They even have a restroom (just ask for the key), which is perfect when you need to wash up after digging into wings. Now that we've moved back to Westminster, I'm even more excited since we're closer than ever. This is the spot I recommend to anyone looking for amazing wings in the area.
Solid place to get your hot wings :) I went here with my co-worker to grab our lunch and it was poppin on a Wednesday. Their Wednesday hot wings deal is affordable and hearty. The ambiance looks like a student cafeteria, which mainly attracts the younger crowd. So fosho you'll expect greasy with a Vietnamese flare in it. The service is outstanding and accommodating to say the least :) I ordered their 5 piece garlic chicken wings (they only have an increment of 5 wings for their deal) and their garlic Parmesan fries. Damn reminds me of the high school memories I have eating these stuff after school. Overall, I would go here again for our break.. solid choice to go in Westminster :)

I visited SoCal wings because I'm easily influenced by the Internet. I thought the wings were OK. We got the lemon pepper wings to try to see what this place was all about. A lot of the people in my party really didn't like it. But when I brought it home to my husband, he thought it was delicious! When we got in, we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered quickly and had to wait a little while for our wings to be cooked. Overall, I think that I would stick to Wingstop because it's much cheaper than this place. But if you wanna try a different wings have added it! The space was clean and organized. There's nothing I can complain about. Will I be back? If my husband wants to try it in person.
I visited SoCal Wings yesterday. It was fairly crowded when I entered in the evening. Super friendly service. Tons of different wings, so many different flavors to choose from. They also had a shrimp menu, a boba drink menu, and lots of other items that I didn't get to order. I did order a set of 15 different wings. I got five pieces of spicy lemon pepper, five pieces of the house special, and five pieces of the fish sauce wings. All of them were amazing in different ways. Very addicting to eat. I also got a side of ranch. I really enjoyed the meat ratio of the wings. They were fried to perfection. I will definitely come back.
The best wings in Orange County! The wings are fried to perfection, large in size, and very juicy. My favorite flavors are the house special and lemon pepper. The cajun fries and onion rings are also great sides and always come with a lot to share. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a lot of seating. They're also great for takeout - definitely recommend ordering about 15-20 min in advance since they fry the wings fresh! Overall great wing spot!
Courteous and kind customer service. Clean tables and seats. The wings took a while to come out. It might have been about 15 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The lemon pepper wings were not the usual taste (like from Wing Stop / Buffalo Wild Wings). The texture was a bit wet vs other places would be a dry rub. The wings seemed to have had lemon juice on top. The chicken was decent, but the lemon pepper didn't really taste like it.

Wow! I found this gem on Google and decided to give it a try and they did not disappoint! The cashier recommend I try the Buffalo gold on my wings and loaded fries. it was a delicious! wings were HUGE. I would give the wings and fries a 10/10 and 8/10 for the cucumber salad! So I've been going to this place for the last few months now and they never fail. Not only as a food guy, but the customer service is way above and beyond. Such a great team there they just don't make the food and just put it out. They asked for your opinion and everything so that their food can get better, which is really cool My go to flavor has always been House Special but we are expanding to other flavors and so far garlic sesame, garlic, Parmesan, and mango madness is extreme fire!!! But yeah, you gotta really give those place a chance. Haven't been back to B dubs or Wingstop for a cool minute. read more

At this point I have a love/hate relationship with SoCal Wings. When I love them they are by far the best wing chain out there easily outclassing Fire Wings, BWW and Wingstop. When they're off their wings are not appetizing at all. The reason I love this spot is they have some amazing flavor profiles you can pick, my favorites are their dry rubs especially the jalapeno and dynamite. What also makes them so incredible is the crunchy breading they have on the wings, though you do have the option of getting them naked. As amazing as their breaded wings are that's how godawful their naked wings are. When I usually go I'll place a small order of the breaded wings and they really hit the spot. I really wanted to turn my friends onto this spot so I recently placed a large order to take to a party. They aren't cheap as I paid $50 for just 30 wings, but they're so amazing I don't mind the price point. When I got my order I was really disappointed as when I took a look at them I notice there was no breading on them. I asked the cashier if she put in the order with breading and she swore she did. I then pulled up a picture from my phone showing her the last time I ordered from them and showed her how the wings looked night and day different. She again swore my wings had breading. Once I took them to the party and we started eating them it was pretty obvious they didn't bread them. The wings were barely edible. They have some serious consistency issues here. I wrote their corporate to complain about this but unsurprisingly I haven't heard back yet. It's a shame that their service sucks so much I don't think I can ever come back here. I really felt I had egg all over my face as I been bragging to my friends about how amazing this place is to feed them those disappointing unbreaded wings they tried to pass off as breaded wings. read more
I got the worst old refried chicken wings yesterday. Please don't recook old wings or serve wings that look dark and brown colored. It tasted horrible . This is the third time that it happened . I ordered ten minutes before I got there and my order was already ready. Usually it takes 20minutes. Most definitely old . Please stop this. 3 times is too much. My current favorite spot during this pandemic. Wednesday is 85 cent wings. I order food every two weeks. Phone in order to pick up. Fast services. Their customer service has improved since my first review. Here are my three favorite wings: house special - sweet and a little spicy, not too much spicy. Mango madness- more spicy than house special. Still tolerable for people who don't eat like pricy food, like me. Lemon pepper- a must in my order. Drink: green Thai tea with crystal boba. I love Socal Wings! They always provide great service and their wings are huge. They have lots of different flavors for wings to choose from, I love trying out new flavors each week! I cater from them everytime I have a party and in this case, for my husband's birthday. My family and I eat here often so it's great to share the good food with our close friends. I was pleasantly surprised with their jumbo shrimp too since the breading and the cocktail sauce combo make them super tasty. Ugh I heard they changed management and you can definitely tell due to the lower quality of food... Wings are not as nice and juicy and the SoCal fries are sad and not flavorful, even when asking for extra cheese and toppings. We always order the same things and it was very clear that this last time, the quality has dropped immensely. The only thing that was still good was the consistency in the wings sauce - spicy lemon pepper which is my favorite and some of the other sauces were still tasty. I always thought I would have to go to those Seafood cove restaurants to get the Lobster House Special Flavor but noooo this place puts it on their wings and POPCORN CHICKEN!! WHAT! Tried this place out and was very happy to find it. Great tasty food, many options, easy parking. We got the family deal, 30 wings and comes with 2 sides. We got Cajun fries and mozzarella sticks. Other sides include waffle fries, tater tots, onion rings, garlic fries. They have multiple options for wings both wet and dry rub. Got 80 wings for about $100. Wings were perfectly cooked, delicious, and flavorful. However, the garlic Parmesan was the least flavorful one when I was expecting potent flavor. Fries and onion rings were good. The Mac salad was very bland so I don't recommend it. Overall, wings were good and I would come back for more! read more

One of my go-to places for chicken wings. My favourites are Sesame Garlic and House Special. Wing size is larger than typical American-style wings. However, the drinks are average. I tried Green Thai Tea and Thai Tea and they tasted diluted. Will get wings from this place only. read more

06.15.2019 Came here because hubby wanted chicken wings for Father's Day after his day of bike riding and golfing. Yes, we celebrated Father's Day today (Saturday). Hubby found this place and it was conveniently near Mile Square Golf Course where he was playing golf. H was all in because her Dad could get his wing fix AND she could get some boba. This small chicken wing place is in a small corner plaza that has a liquor store/market and Mexican restaurant. We arrived and the place was empty. The girl employee was nice to explain some of the flavors and items we had questions on. Everything is pretty much fried except for some bowls or special items. We ordered a 20pc. Family Meal that had 20 pieces of wings (1/2 original dry rub, 1/2 buffalo sauce), 2 large side orders (we got fried mozzarella and fried zucchini) plus an order of fried salt & pepper shrimp (heads on). Hubby was hoping the food sucked so it wouldn't be a place he would crave since the place is not where we normally pass or drive through. Unfortunately for him, we LOVED everything!!! The family LOVED the wings and inhaled all of the buffalo wings and a couple of the original dry rub. We took the extras home and they can toss it in the wing sauce we have at home. According to the family, the wings were "FRIED perfectly and the buffalo sauce was good." My fried salt & pepper shrimp were pretty delicious! After they were lightly battered and fried they were mixed with some sautéed onions and green onions. I ate some shrimp with the head (and peel) on and I peeled the rest. The shrimp were fried well and were crunchy enough you didn't have to peel them if you didn't want to. I dipped it in the ranch dressing and it tasted good with it. I think next time we're going to try it with the house special sauce which the girl explained was like a sweet sauce with garlic. Duly noted! But we may need to have some rice to eat it with. Which they do have on the menu. I think the sides were all frozen pre-made items but truthfully, they were fried well so they were pretty tasty. The zucchini sticks were small cut sticks (about 4" long), almost the same size as the mozzarella sticks. It's funny but hubby and I agreed the zucchini sticks tasted better than Farmer Boys' zucchini sticks. The girls ordered a Thai Tea and a strawberry smoothie, both with boba. Little O's smoothie was good. H's Thai Tea was very good, not too sweet. The boba was fresh and soft. We know this place is a drive for us from home but it is definitely worth coming back for. I want more shrimp and I know the family will eat wings. Thanks hubby for the great food find! read more

The wings and socal fries are top tier!!! We got 3 socal fries with honey garlic sriracha and sesame garlic and wings (as pictured). Service was amazing and probably the best we've ever experienced, the owners made sure we enjoyed the food! The menu, ambiance and overall vibe of this place is amazing. The wings are so cheap and definitely worth it :)! Not to mention I love their board its so cute ! read more

Service 10/10 Super amazing! I asked to change my orders a bunch of times because my family is indecisive and they were happy to change it. They gave me a free sauce once here too! Wings 10/10 The fusion flavor of the House wings are to die for. Usually other places mess up the fusion but this place doesn't miss. The Louisiana wings are also so yummy. SoCal fries 10/10 We got the Garlic Parmesan flavor and it just makes the entire meal so much better. Definitely would come here again. What a hidden gem it is! read more

Is there any gluten-free meals?
I don't think there can truly be gluten free, unless they reserved one fryer with oil just for that. If it's fried in the same oil as everything else , it's not gluten free .

They are definitely breaded I heard the girls calling it a batter. You can ask for the wings with no batter though
