Woooow! I'm actually kinda blown away. This spot was more than I expected. Not an actual beer brewery, but they specialize in ciders and Mead, but do offer small selection of beers that are not made on the premises. My first time trying mead. And baaaby! It's good. I really liked the blueberry and cactus cooler mead. It's an in between of beer and cider with a higher alcohol content, 8%. Started with bartender Johnny and ended with Angie, both were hella cool and great with making suggestions. The music playlist. Fire. I also tried the cherry liquor situation and I am in love with it. It's like a smooth brandy perfect hint of sweetness. The outside patio is super cute and spacious with a few outdoor games. Upstairs is a whole ass vibe, lounge like with outlets (ask for the wifi). I definitely will be making this spot my after work work place. Oh. Plenty of free on street and back lot parking. So many cider options, as well as beer and wine. Generous pours- the glass was almost completely full. Got a cider that was fairly sweet. Wish I had tried the champagne one or the pomegranate one but was still super good. Hopping on a Friday night but by no means was it too crowded. Honestly super sad about the treatment from the manager/owner. We got "scolded" for moving some heaters AFTER we asked for permission from the bartender. Said it was disrespectful that we moved them to make ourselves more comfortable in their restaurant....We were polite and apologized and she just kept at it and wouldn't stop scolding us. We were a large respectful party who all were actually visiting from SOCAL. Ironic how this place is nothing like the carefree kind vibes that actually is Southern California. Manager needs to learn some overall just communication skills and get off her power trip. We all work in restaurants and are familiar with how people should be treated. 10/10 don't recommend this place and super sad with how we were treated. Do better. read more

Go for the beer and cider. Food is a 3.5 I got the Tuna and was pretty dry with coleslaw and I didn't really see the cheese for it being a melt. Bread was still soft not toasted. Just recently had my 30th birthday celebration here and it was awesome! We had the whole 2nd floor area to ourselves which fit at least 35 people very comfortably. The music was great, the food was delicious, and Angie made the whole night run smoothly for us. I'm so glad we found this gem! Brett who helped us book the place was very clear with details and next steps. They responded quickly to any and all questions we had. The cook was also very kind and made all the food to perfection! Dog dad and I made a pit stop for date night, and Socal Vibes is just the place for a laid-back environment that promises a good time. Dog dad describes the playlist as his "2016 vibes" (he looked up one of the songs, which was from 2021, so take his alcohol-induced judgement with a grain of salt, but Rihanna's S&M was definitely from 2010 lol). We got a mead flight to share (6 total--we did 4 meads and 2 ciders, because the awesome staff let you do substitutions). We opted to keep our tab open, since we planned to pick-up a few to take home. Our favorites, with 1 being the crème de la crème and 6 being the one we will substitute for something else next time--I prefer fruit drinks and dog dad usually goes for stouts and porters: 1) Cactus Kooler 2) Bombegrante (dog dad's #3) 3) Lychee (dog dad's #2) 4) Limoncello 5) "Fall Harvest" aka organic maple 6) Limited Special - "End of the Halloween Candy" aka chocolate We took our flight to the cute little bar outside with rotating bar stools--strategically located by a fire pit for warmth, and found the music to be the perfect level (you can still chat without shouting). The crowd here is really nice, and there is ample seating, both inside and outside. Parking is conveniently located behind the building, and there was no LA scramble to snatch a spot. I yelped for breweries and this place popped up in the area where I was. It is a small place in the middle of other buildings. The parking is in the rear and the seating is outside at the front of the restaurant It is easier to come with a person or a coat so you can hold your spot at the tables to signify that you are sitting there. It is a 1st come 1st serve basis. Try to choose your seat and then stand in line to order. If its not crowded, order first then choose your seat. When I went up for a third round, I lost my seat because i was by myself and couldnt hold it and stand in line with people coming in :( I still enjoyed my time there I ordered pretzel bites, taco trio, the West Coast IPA and the watermelon Habanero cider. Each item was good in its own way and I enjoyed the flavours used. The tacos are smaller than average but good I would go back with friends and a thicker coat. Since it is outside, the wind can get chilly. I did not see any space heaters. Last but not least when you give your number, you can earn points toward a discount on future visits read more

This is my new favorite event space ! Last month we threw a party for about 50 people for my husbands 50th birthday and it was AMAZING. The staff made the process soooo easy, they were so attentive and we had open bar tab for HOURS with a very reasonable bill ( our friends and family can drink too ) we were able to bring our own DJ and it made the vibe so special Most breweries don't have a private area for parties but I love that this place does The drinks and the food they served were a HIT . If you think about all the money and time one could spend for a special event at home , doing it here was the way to go The variety of meads and ciders were pretty impressive and probably the most diverse I've ever had at a brewery. I would definitely recommend this place!! We recently moved from little Tokyo and were looking for a place that offered a flight of original beers - something similar to arts district or Angel city breweries. Happy to report we found it! This is such a fun venue with tiki vibes and a cider flight of your dreams! My absolute favorite drinks were the lychee mead and the cactus kooler. We chose to sit at the bar, and the bartender Ralph helped us choose our flight. There's 2 cider flights, a mead flight and a cocktail flight. Ralph, the bartender helped us pick our poison. We went with the more 'adventurous' flight that had flavors like "bombergranate", "watermelon habanero", and "chai pumpkin spice" - all the different descriptions were really highlighted in the flavours. We were able to do a presentation with their TV and people ate and had amazing beers while enjoying the presentation. If you have a large group give them a shot. Total price for event was a good value. Hosted a baby shower here and it was everything I could have hoped for (minus the hot weather and flies - both out of their control). After some terrible drama, I ended up desperately searching for a venue to throw my baby shower. Reached out to a few places who all had wedding prices and connected with Aerin at SoCal Vibes, whose friendly/welcoming help and timely responses led me to committing with them before I ever even visited the place. Working with Aerin was the reason my baby shower was able to come together. She's quick to respond, helpful, never made me feel like a bother, and helped me cross my t's and dot my i's. I was stressed at how not stressed I was leading up to our event. So many of our friends and family asked us how we heard about SoCal Vibes because they enjoyed the space, the beers, the food, etc. The outdoor patio where we held the event has ample seating and a great vibe. We heard there's great lounge-y upstairs inside but never made our way to check it out. For events, they have two food options and we opted for the higher option which didn't break the bank and was plentiful and delicious (we heard, we never got a chance to eat). The spread was great and their team was fantastic. Paul handled all the food for us and kept me updated, communicated with me throughout the event, was thoughtful about certain things I mentioned, and because of him, I didn't worry about the food once. The staff was even kind enough to let us move the food indoors when the flies became too much. I think her name was Elise but she was at the bar and was also incredibly kind and helpful and Matt at the bar was also great! I could not recommend this place enough for events or to meet with some friends! It's definitely a beach/luau vibe so very casual but able to hold a good amount of people and their staff goes out of their way to make it seamless so you can have a good time. Thank you to Aerin, Paul, Matt, Elise, and the entire SoCal Vibes crew for hosting and welcoming us! Great Drinks not so great food. Ive only tried the Ciders and Meads and they are great. The lychee mead is amazing. The currently have a a spicy mango cider which is also pretty tasty. Tried a pulled pork taco and a shrimp taco.... approximately 2.00 each for taco Tuesday, 4.00 regular price. Tacos were very small, cold and blands. The guy at the bar was definitely not the friendliest... my friend asked a legitimate question and got a sarcastic answer..rude. Use to go here when it was honest abes and continued to so once it expanded to what it is now but this was my first time back since the pandemic and was disappointed. This brewery has a great selection of beers and food. It also has an upstairs mezzanine, where we hosted a birthday gathering for about 25-30 people, and an outdoors area with tables and lawn games. Whether it's a small group of coworkers after work or a larger gathering of friends for a celebratory occasion, this brewery is the perfect space for socializing. I cannot say enough about the team there as well - Aerin made the booking process very easy, and Angie was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Big shout-out to Matt as well who took a group photo and even went back downstairs to get a box to stand on so we could get a better angle/shot. The best word I can describe the venue, team, and overall vibes is professionally chill (and that is to be interpreted in the most complimentary way possible). The crew was phenomenal and took great care of us - shout out to Andrea and Alise (hopefully, I remembered names correctly.) And extra kudos for being SO kid-friendly. It's nice they have a full kitchen and offer tiered pricing based on party size. We were able to provide some food for guests when they arrived and just ordered more food as needed. I highly suggest poke nachos and pretzels! I love their drink options - not just beer but brandy, cider, and mead too! Must try the Coffee Abraham, cider flight, and mead flight. We booked the upstairs loft space for our party and they still had plenty of seats inside on the main floor and the outside patio. So when I saw that this place had a wide range of different ciders, I was beyond excited. I got the order of the Honest Abe flight so I could try a little bit of everything. I think my favorite were the pomegranate cider and the Mexican candy cider! They also have a selection of mead and I ordered the lychee mead to try mead for the first time and it was really good. The place has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded! They also have really good appetizers which are reasonably priced. We hosted our volleyball banquet here and it was such a great decision. The outdoor space is perfect for large parties or groups of families with kids. We brought our own DJ and decorations. Everything was ready for us and Angie was very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is 5 stars, the employees are 5 stars, the bar is 5 stars, and the communication leading up the the event was 5 stars.
