Awesome beers and great food and great atmosphere to just eat and hang! We enjoyed trying their beer selections and we ordered their wings, burger and chicken avocado wrap. Wings were cooked well but their buffalo sauce kind of lacked the tanginess. The wrap was a bit disappointing, hardly any avocado and it was a bit dry. Fries and tater tots were awesome though. Service was okay, a bit on the slow side. Overall a great place to go

Lew W.

Always beautifully crafted beer. Friendly staff. Fun vibe. And if you don't order some tots, you'll regret it! Cheers!

Smoke Stacks and Lomita Light. Absolutely sensational!

Visited today and now I'm looking up properties in Lomita. I've never felt so at home at a brewery - the customer service and beers were absolutely spectacular. I just got home, I'm about 45 minutes away and I'm already thinking about my next visit!

Visited this brewery for the first time with some friends yesterday. Very small place but nice to hang with a small group to enjoy some brews and great food. We had the Buffalo wings and those were delicious. Small selection of beer though it was good. Service on the food was great. Only thing was the music not really transferred to the back area of the location. Kinda felt like I was having a beer in a library, it was fairly quiet as not even the TV sound is on. Took the group back out to the front where it's more livelier. Parking available across the street free of charge.

Chill good spot to hang out with friends. Limited seating inside and parking. Outdoor seating is available. They have a really awesome deal of $1 wing Wednesdays. Their wings were crispy and delicious. We ordered lemon pepper and mango habanero wings. Good and friendly service. They also have a good selection of beers.

For those of you who love drinking Skip The Line at Burnin Daylight like we do, try tasting another Hazy called "Guava Crusher." This craft brew is a hazy fruit ale 6% with a slight mild taste of guava.

I really like this place! I don't even drink beer but my friends do. It's lively and family friendly. First time I went it was crowded so we sat at the bar. This time we were just ahead of the dinner rush. There's a nice outdoor patio as well. Both times I ordered the California burrito. I had the steak the first time and had planned to get steak again but they were out so I got chicken. Not as good as the steak but it hit the spot. Friends were happy with their selections of the salad and grilled cheese w/fries. Another friend had the CA burrito and agreed that the steak is better. All around great place.

Hands down.. the BEST wings in the area. I literally drove 15 mins away from home to have these, while waiting for traffic to die down. Everyone is so friendly! It's always packed and everyone is super chill. I love this place, new beers almost every week and they keep the old favorites. What's not to love!?

All I can say is CITRUS SLAMMER so amazing. Both my husband and I favored that beer. We stopped by a second time just to have another. Also had their wings(really good), didn't have a long wait for our food, friendly and helpful staff, chill vibes talked to a few different folks and surprised that everyone there was so nice no snobs, overall a nice experience will definitely be back. Wish they sold the citrus slammer in the 4 packs!

Ask the Community - Burnin Daylight Brewing

Do you ask for ID? or can I bring my kid?I see some kids in photos but just wanna make sure before I go I live far away.

I've taking my kids there for lunch/dinner a few times. Bring your kid, they have a great grilled cheese there my son loves. Maybe bring an activity for them as there's not a dedicated play area or anything like that.

Where do you park?

There is an adjacent parking lot that's usually available, otherwise park around the neighborhood. Parking is not an issue unless there is some major event happening

Do you allow dogs?

No dogs allowed. Found that out the hard way today. Arrived to find a sign that said no pets allowed and when I went inside to make sure the person I encountered rudely let me know "Dogs aren't allowed because we have a kitchen". Um many… Read more

Boyyy did we finally find our spot!! Reminds me of those awesome family-owned neighborhood bars back in Champaign-Urbana (yes, Illinos but we're Angelenos)...the kind you don't really plan for, but end up talking about later. We've been here twice now and honestly? We love it! First time, there was live music, open mic night. Just people showing up, putting their heart out there. No pretentious vibe, just good energy. Second time, there was line dancing. And if you bought one of the drinks you got a raffle ticket for free classes. Completely different night, same welcoming feel. How cool is that?!! The thing about this place is that it shifts, but sort of still feels like home. The first night it was raining, and they let us bring in our 3-month-old poodle, Kopi, without hesitation. Not only that! they offered him a blanket!!! A blanket!!! For our dog!!! Yeah...that told me everything. They kept checking in on us, making sure we were taken care of, recommending drinks like we were regulars. And there were clearly many regulars there. Drinks were solid...good cider, good beer, good mixed drinks. And the food? Omg! The food!!! Honestly fucking underrated (can I curse?). Way better than you'd expect from a bar, though to be fair some of the best food I've had has been from a bar's kitchen.. You know.... the kind of food where you take a bite...and your eyebrow rises just a tad...you pause and are like....okay wait, this is really freaking good! Nothing about this place is trying too hard and that's exactly why it works. It's just people, music, drinks, awesome food....and a space that feels lived in. We'll definitely be back.

I decided to celebrate my birthday there, and I truly didn't expect the kind of experience I ended up having. From the moment we walked in, the owners personally welcomed us. The place was completely packed, not a single table was empty, yet somehow everything ran so smoothly. Our drinks and food came out quickly, hot, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, it was by far the best burger and Philly cheesesteak we've ever had. What really stood out to me was how present and attentive the owners were. They were on top of everything while still being kind, warm, and genuinely friendly. The whole place had such a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. That night they had a live country band, and it made everything even more special. It was lively and full of joy. Even though there wasn't much space or a dance floor, people still got up and danced; including myself! Seeing the smiles and happiness on everyone's faces felt like watching a big family celebration. It was such a beautiful sense of community. To top it all off, the band ended the night by singing "Happy Birthday" to me. I felt so celebrated and honestly a little spoiled in the best way. If you're just looking for "food," you can go anywhere. But if you want high-quality, flavorful food, outstanding service, and a place where you truly feel at home -- this is it. Highly, highly recommend!

My other friend was told they didn't have the exact glass and it took a while for them to bring out the beer. We had three kids with us and the kids food took forever and the portions were small. Refills on sodas took a while. They were overloaded with ice. As for my food, the pizza looked good from the top but there was no crisp, no chew to the crust. I ordered their pepperoni. I felt the rosemary was overpowering. The undercarriage was blonder than a golden locked surfer. Some of the meals required utensils and we had to repeatedly ask for utensils, only to have them eventually hand out low budget plastic to-go cutlery. I guess it was better than eating the slaw with the fingers. The server was apologetic. One of us ordered a burger. The bun disintegrated. It was a gluten free bun. I did appreciate them subbing it out when they found my friend was vegan. The server was friendly. I think they were understaffed. Bottom line, would I go back? No. No. And No.

Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.
