This brewery has a great selection of beers and food. It also has an upstairs mezzanine, where we hosted a birthday gathering for about 25-30 people, and an outdoors area with tables and lawn games. Whether it's a small group of coworkers after work or a larger gathering of friends for a celebratory occasion, this brewery is the perfect space for socializing. I cannot say enough about the team there as well - Aerin made the booking process very easy, and Angie was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Big shout-out to Matt as well who took a group photo and even went back downstairs to get a box to stand on so we could get a better angle/shot. Good drinks, terrible service. Food took an hour to come out. No one came to check up on us or help clean up so trash kept piling up upstairs. They're understaffed for sure so I was doing my best to be understanding. But come on, you can't have one person in FOH on a weekend. That is just cruel, and not fair for the workers and customers. Also, worst macaroni salad I've ever had. Do not get. DO NOT. It has so much potential but the lack of service and inattentiveness was just too much. Please hire more workers. read more

We reserved a portion of the mezzanine area at Socal Vibes to host a holiday party with friends and the experience was great! The space had a feel like hanging out a home with our friends, plenty of room and seating space (including couches!) for 15 guests. With a reasonable deposit we were able to reserve the space and have a great time. This was actually our third year in a row hosting our holiday party there and can't wait to do it again next year! I really wanted to like this spot. From the outside looking in, this place has a welcoming and relaxing set up for small or large groups. There's a pool table, upstairs and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking in the back. I tried the hard chili raspberry kombucha and loved it. The pitcher of sangria, on the other hand, tasted like cheap fruit juice and it ended up going to waste. During my visit, there was a disturbing amount of flies that lingered around our table and a few fruit flies ended up in one of the glasses that we were drinking out of. I know this isn't something that the place can fully control, but it's worth noting to put on their radar. Additionally, the bathrooms, while clean and spacious, weren't fully stocked with toilet paper. Overall, my experience here wasn't terrible but it wasn't impressive either. Shuffleboard inside, cornhole outside, cool music and a nice space; brewery definitely has the vibes going for it. I don't drink booze, so I didn't imbibe aside from water, but tried the food. The bartender tried to really sell the pork that this place has going on, so I went for the ribs and a pork taco, but was definitely disappointed. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but the food didn't give me good vibes, although the rest of the environment was nice. I'll definitely come back and give this place another shot when in Carson, it's definitely a super cool hangout spot; I'd just avoid the ribs next time. read more

Hosted a last-minute birthday party at SoCal Vibes, and the team here was so accommodating and easy to work with. Very responsive via email and easy to book. The crew was phenomenal and took great care of us - shout out to Andrea and Alise (hopefully, I remembered names correctly.) And extra kudos for being SO kid-friendly. It's nice they have a full kitchen and offer tiered pricing based on party size. We were able to provide some food for guests when they arrived and just ordered more food as needed. I highly suggest poke nachos and pretzels! I love their drink options - not just beer but brandy, cider, and mead too! Must try the Coffee Abraham, cider flight, and mead flight. We booked the upstairs loft space for our party and they still had plenty of seats inside on the main floor and the outside patio. So when I saw that this place had a wide range of different ciders, I was beyond excited. I got the order of the Honest Abe flight so I could try a little bit of everything. I think my favorite were the pomegranate cider and the Mexican candy cider! They also have a selection of mead and I ordered the lychee mead to try mead for the first time and it was really good. Apparently management changed & my experience has definitely "different" since my Nov. '22 review. You cannot bring in outside food (it was snacks for crying out loud!). They will charge you $/person (charge you to bring in customers to their establishment (lame right?!) we obviously bought THEIR drinks & most of my party even ordered from THEIR menu as well!). They suggest you make a reservation if you are having an event. Mind you, I celebrated my birthday on Memorial Monday '23; I arrived a few minutes before opening to hold a spot (because it's open seating). Wasn't exactly sure how many people would show up so I didn't RSVP. Maybe I should NOT have said I invited all these people & it was just a coincidence we all ended up there! It's a funny story how I ended up a SoCal Vibes for the first time. We had originally gone to Torrance to try a barbecue place that I had been wanting to try for the longest and unfortunately when we got there, the place was close for the day. We had drove pretty far from home so we decided to find something nearby to eat before heading back home. I kept looking for breweries in the area but there was nothing that caught my eye so we decided to head back home. We were on the freeway driving back home when I decided to give it another try and search something nearby right away SoCal vibes popped out. As soon as we pulled up and saw the patio set up, we knew it was going to be a great place. They have a small parking lot behind the brewery, but there is also street parking. This place is has a big selection on craft cider but they also carry a selection of craft beers. I decided to try their Hazy IPA and my lady tried one of their cider. They were both very good very crisp. We also try their salsa and chips, which were OK just regular canned salsa and chips. My lady wanted to try the Poké bowl, which was also OK but next time I will try their sliders, which look delicious. They have a great patio with some games to play like connect four Jenga, and tossing sacks and then say they have a foosball table. This place was very chill back. It had a great vibe. We hosted our volleyball banquet here and it was such a great decision. The outdoor space is perfect for large parties or groups of families with kids. We brought our own DJ and decorations. Everything was ready for us and Angie was very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is 5 stars, the employees are 5 stars, the bar is 5 stars, and the communication leading up the the event was 5 stars. We recently held our daughter's one year birthday at SoCal Vibes. It was nothing short of an amazing experience. From the start of coordinating to the end of the day, the entire staff were always on it and very accommodating. They had the outside patio reserved for us but it unfortunately rained that day so they opened the upstairs mezzanine and entire downstairs for our party. From coordinating with Aerin weeks prior to the party and to Angie who helped on site on the day of, these people are top tier.
