We breed Golden Doodles. After their heat, things can get very messy. We have three large "My Pillow" dog beds that needed a good washing. Soap Box extra large washers and dryer were perfect. $4 to wash each one and $2 to dry each one. However the equipment wasn't my inspiration to write this review. It was the employee, Cicily. Somehow she could tell I was a Laundromat novice. Maybe the awkward way I was inspecting the washers.... She walked me through what machines would be best for certain loads, how the machines operated so I knew how to use them, and especially her willingness to go the extra mile. When she discovered what stains I was trying to get out, she grabbed some peroxide and showed me how to apply it. I will visit a business based on my needs, but when one offers an experience that make you feel they really care about you, I'll find reasons to come back. read more

I've been going here for a couple weeks and today I guess I parked outside of the parking spot--another car was parked the same and I didn't even think. I came out after doing my laundry and my car was booted. The employee there wasn't at all understanding and just said if he made an exception for me he would have to for everyone. I saw no signs outside about booting. He told me he would only take $60 in cash. I said I would never return after this and he only said, "I'm sorry". That's how much they care about their customers or customer service. Apparently this is how Soap Box makes their money, no warnings or help just charge you $60 in cash. This is my first time going to a laundromat. I chose to come here because the lady on the phone was so helpful. The attendant showed me which washer to use and how to get it going. I came just to wash my king size comforter and it cost $5.50. Large dryers are .25 cents for 7 min and smaller dryers are .25 cents for 10 min. All payment is in quarters but you can get some there if you need. The washer made some scary noises that didn't help my anxiety of ruining my comforter but it seemed to have worked okay. read more

Incredibly nice and friendly staff. They do an exceptional job on all laundry and dry cleaning.

I'm from out of town and desperately needed to do laundry. I tried to go to two other laundromats before this one. One place was under renovations and the other, the soap dispenser stole my quarters so I left. This place had someone available on staff and they were super friendly and the place was clean. They even told me which machines cleaned the best. They charged $0.50 per load of detergent. I would go there again if I'm nearby in the future. read more

I've never been to a laundromat I was searching for the closest one to my residence and found this one and saw that I had a very high rating and decided to come in. I fully understand why they have such a high rating the staff here is very helpful very friendly and the washers and dryers do an amazing job. I highly recommend this laundromat. read more

We referred a friend to soap box to see the antique laundry items decorating the walls. Our friend wants to decorate her home laundry room with antique items. When our friend started taking pictures of their decor a very rude person told our friend that she couldn't take pictures and that if she didn't have laundry she would need to leave. Seriously? What harm was she doing by taking a picture of an ironing board on the wall? Lighten up Soap Box. She was paying you a compliment by admiring your collection. We won't be going there again, laundry or no laundry. read more

First the place is clean and there are a good amount of washers and dryers. There are also a lot of machines that are out of service. Two of the three machines we used didn't spin the clothes, which came out very damp and took almost 2 hours to dry at $0.25 for 7 minutes. read more

We never needed to use a laundromat because we've always had a washer and dryer. But I had a giant fluffy comforter that needed washing desperately. We took it to this place because they were on the way to the store and it was a GREAT decision. I don't know if it was the owner or just an employee that helped us, but she was SUPER nice. Never once made me feel stupid for having never done any of it before and answered all my questions nicely. Even helped us with picking the right washer for such a big blanket. All I had was cash, and she was super nice about exchanging it for quarters for the machines. I forgot about bringing detergent and she gave us some at no charge and then told us how long it would be before the washing was done. We were a little late on our store run but when we got there, she was still super nice and never made a comment about leaving it longer. We put it in their dryer and that MASSIVE comforter was done in 20 minutes. AMAZING! read more

I went to this laundromat for years before I started working there . I feel safe and it's clean. An attendant is always there to make sure you need help & doing business accounts . I will never go to another laundromat. read more

My usual impression of laundromats is not very good, but this place is just great! There is always extremely friendly staff on hand to help you out. Normally almost all the machines work. With the staff on hand I even feel safe enough to leave my laundry and come back to get it later. I thought a five star laundromat didn't exist but this is one of them. read more
