The product works great! The scheduling is horrible. If you can sit home and wait for Snyder's to call you randomly at their leasure then great. I have tried for 2 years to be put on the same day with the others in my neighborhood but for some reason that's just a bit to diffucult for them. Do not trust this company, Not only will they lie to you they will call you a lier as well. There customer service is terrible and they will not honor their warranty. After many years of grass and weed control companies this one has been the absolute worst in communication and work performance. When my Bermuda grass is dormant they are calling all of the green fescue growing Bermuda. Either they don't know the difference or are just trying to get out of warranty work. I had a small forest growing in my backyard and my front yard as well. Snyder's came out and sprayed. The weeds are dying!!! Yay!!!!!! They came out the next day that I called! And they answered my email the next day (I wrote it late at night-well after business hours). OK I have now had them for a year and absolutely no weeds I love it! This is a great company with a great product and they do great work! So professional and they call you to remind you for your annual or semiannual service! So you don't have to remember at all. I have used Snyder's Weed Control for many years. They were referred to us by some neighbors in our Community. When you call for an appointment, you actually don't get one right away - but they do call you the day before when they will be in your area...works for me. The technician arrives on time and gets the job done. They coat my entire property with the pre-emerge and do not cut corners anywhere...again, they spray the entire property and spray it well. My job is to wait 48 hours and then water down the entire property for the solution to sink into the ground to keep new weeds from growing. You wait the 48 hours so that the weeds that are above the ground die off. The reason for the 4 stars .... I skipped a year (2014) with Mr. Snyder as I had new weed growth within my "1 year warranty" that I had paid about 160.00? for. The warranty is that they will come and spray where weeds have grown or re-grown within the year time. On the FRONT of my agreement it stated "1 year warranty" ......in the civilized world, 1 year - as I recall - has always been 52 weeks. In the Snyder world - on the BACK of my guarantee...in very small print ...a 1 year warranty is only 49 weeks. When I called, I was told to read the back of my contract to which I countered that the FRONT says the words "1 year warranty". I was ONE week past my 49 weeks and they refused to come and re-spray. I insisted that it was pretty shady as well as false advertisement and it was only ONE WEEK - yes, 50 WEEKS!! The FRONT of the contract should state "49 week warranty" alongside the other offer that they have printed on the front - the "6 month warranty" . Mr Snyder and I did not see eye to eye on what the world has written in the books as what a year consists of and what he has decided what a year consists of. The FRONT of the warranty stated should state EXACTLY what the BACK of the warranty states! He had a chuckle in his voice, however I was not amused as I had been a customer for so many years. I contacted my HOA president as so many of our residents used Snyders. I'm guessing he placed a call and Mr Snyder was a little more humble, but would not respray. To date, the contract STILL says "one year warranty" on the front of it and "49 week warranty" on the back!! I used a different weed control company in 2014 (see my review with photos on Burns Pest and Weed Elimination - they actually ruined my lawn....killed a fair amount of my grass and I still had weeds growing which they never took care of )......so much to my husbands insistence, we are back with Snyder's, my weeds are dead, my lawn is alive and all is forgiven. Again, just be mindful that 1 year = 49 weeks in the Snyder World .....if you're ok with that - they are definitely one to use for weed control. read more

I have used Snyder's Weed Control now for about 3 years and have yet to find anyone that can beat their service. I have used others in the past and everyone I have used have failed in customer service and how they applied the weed control products. I will and always will use Snyder's Weed control. Their customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Always taking care of their customer's with pride and making sure that their customers are happy with their service.
