I stopped in one afternoon while enjoying a day off of work and to have a beer. I am new to the area and just wanted to see what this place was all about. I have to say that the service was outstanding! The bartender when asked about specials and advice was spot on. She recommended the Cheese Fries (which are wonderful) and the Blue Cheese Burger (which is perfect for cheese lovers). I had a great time and would love to go back soon. read more

So there are 5 people at the bar. The bar tender is frazzled and when asking about a style of beer, the dude says its just a beer, I don't know. Come on. The service here was horrible. Don't waste your time. read more

We ordered the Jalapeño burger, chicken fried steak and the buffalo chicken sandwich....let's not forget the loaded down cheese fries! All the food was so good! Fantastic food-service was a little slow but food was worth it! read more

Our server Daniel was great today. Brought our food fast and made sure we always had a drink.

Came out with a group of friends and our server (Daniel) did an awesome job! Will be coming back for sure!

I really want this joint to do well because I grew up in Dallas with their Cheddar Fries as a staple of my cheese and bread diet (which is now my son's primary sustenance). However, this new location is lame. I've tried it three times now, and all three times it's disappointed. The cheddar fries have come out just so-so warm. They used to be lava hot at the old location, with the cheese melted and delicious, not congealed and clumpy. After asking the waiter for a possible explanation, the manager came over and said the cooks sometimes try to get ahead of demand and so the fries may have been sitting around cooling off for a while. His solution: ask them to prepare our order with fresh hot fries next time. My solution: don't go back. read more

Snuffers - New restaurant replacing the old one on Midway. - Burgers Near Me - Addison, Texas

I looked into this place when all other trendy sports bars in addison were full with long wait times. Initially I noticed the place was stuck in time with the decor and music selection (80s hits) but I later realized why this place was so popular - the food! I had the Bleu cheese bacon burger and it was so moist and delicious. The bun, patty thickness, and flavor combination was mouth watering and the loaded cheese fries very rich and delicious. Be sure to get them loaded and get them in a small size to share with a friend, I accidentally got a small for myself and it was too much. The place grew on me since it had a neighborhood feel and friendly staff. I will definitely be back. 4.5 star review. read more

Basic fare and a limited menu. I don't really have anything to complain about but nothing really caught my attention with the interior design, menu or food. A lot of good restaurants are nearby that warrant consideration. read more

Good service. Food was alright. But honestly really turned off by the giant Blue Lives Matter flag on the wall.

Snuffers has gone back to the original recipes and the food is excellent again. Makes sense bc now its packed again!! So happy. read more

I have always enjoyed Snuffers burgers and fries. I haven't been since I became a vegetarian, but they have a veggie patty that is really good (it is not on the menu so you will have to request it). Their amazing buns and fresh toppings make it amazing. Service at this location wasn't the best, but could have been worse, mostly our guy was super awkward. They have a happy hour from 3-7pm on weekdays with some good deals as well as other bar type food at way above bar quality. Overall will definitely be returning to this location. Word to the wise, it shares a parking lot with another restaurant so parking is a bit of a pain during busy times. read more

One of my favorite places in the Dallas area! With a great atmosphere and wonderful food snuffers is a must try in my mind. The food is truly wonderful, the best thing on the menu is the cheese fries which are everything you could ask for at a great price. My suggestion is to get a large order of the cheese fries with everything to split with four people and each person get one of the fantastic burgers and a beer. The staff is also a bright spot. I came in with a group of over twenty people without calling ahead on a busy night and not only did they check in with is constantly, get the food out quickly, be very courteous, they also engaged with us in a way that took the experience up a notch. read more

We visited the new location off of Beltline and the atmosphere is much better..larger seating areas and a really nice bar. We were seated for 8 in the corner front of the restaurant and waited quite a while to get any service. He took our drink order and waited about 5 mins for soda and tea. He took our order, but i just took too long, about 40 minutes. The guy just seemed to to have some problems. The manager came over when we were seated, so no chance to tell him how things were doing. Anyway, the burgers are awesome and we'll be returning for sure. Hopefully we get a better expereince. read more

I love snuffers! They have the best, I mean the best fried pickles hands down! I love their blue cheese bacon burger and the patio is great!

Snuffers is a Dallas institution and it has aged very well! From the mouthwatering burgers to their addictive cheese fries every trip is a satisfying reminder that the honest burger joint is the way to go. Nothing fancy here but it's always going to be good and its nice to be able to count on a place staying true to their strengths. read more

When it comes to burgers, Snuffer's can be described with one word: Badass. This is a serious burger place. E. coli and subsequent litigation be damned; this is one of the few places I know that you can still get your burger cooked RARE (though there is no way in all of hades that I would ever tempt fate like that.) At Snuffer's, you get a huge hunk of burger served up on a great bun, covered in lettuce, tomato, etc that is cut/chopped just right. I really don't see how anyone could take a bite and not think, "This is one of the best things that I have ever eaten." Really. Often, I literally can't move after I eat one, because they are enormous. My favorite is the Mushroom Swiss burger, but I have more to say about some of the other varieties in my subsequent review of the Southlake location. Now, here's a problem: as I read through the other reviews on here, everybody is raving about the cheese fries. What's the problem, you ask? Well, I [generally] don't like cheese. There are only about 5 varieties that I can tolerate, but cheddar isn't one of them. Therefore, for all the times I have been here (I used to go a LOT, because I worked within easy walking distance,) I have NEVER had their world famous cheese fries, and have no desire to. Their "regular" fries are excellent, however. All-in-all, great stuff. I really like this place! read more

Service is still a bit lacking in training. But the manager checked in a lot. Our food was great as always. Liked the new location. Big bar area. Will be fun for football season. read more

Snuffers - New Location. New Bar. - Burgers Near Me - Addison, Texas

I've never had a bad burger or cheese fries any Snuffer's location! I stopped in about a month ago to check out their new location and I liked it. I like that is a little more roomy and you don't feel as crammed in as you did at the other location that was in Addison. The food was great as always and my only complaint was it took probably about five minutes before anyone came to the table to take a drink order. That didn't really bother me because it was very busy on that Sunday afternoon and the waiter did apologize and did take care of us the rest of the time we were there. Whatever you get there, you do have to get an order of cheese fries. I've learned my lesson and usually stick with the smallest order! I always get my burgers well done and they always taste great. read more

Overall I thought it was a pretty decent place. I had the green Chile burger lunch special. The burger was good and the green chiles gave the burger a nice kick. I liked the fries here and the service was good. read more

Snuffers - Lunch Special Green Chile Burger - Burgers Near Me - Addison, Texas

My family and I were not really Snuffers' fans at the old Addison location on Midway as it was run down and the food was basically a one or two star at best. The move to the new Beltline location has revived both the the staff and food. We had a great meal shortly after it re-opened and the burgers, especially the Mushroom and Swiss Burger was cook perfectly. We have been back twice since then. Sometimes a little change can be a great thing! read more

Long time Snuffers fan right here. Best cheese fries around and you just can't beat the friendly staff. My buddy and I stopped in for lunch the other day and we had the best server- Andrew. Super friendly, funny, and great service. Keep up the great work, Suffers!! read more

I've been going here for years now. Great comfort food and I've been consistently coming here since I moved to texas. Cheese fries are a must! read more

Decent place for a quick bit. Went to try out there cheese fries. Granted they were great, the rest of the menu falls short. Ordered their new California Chicken sandwich, which has avocado. It was clearly old avocado and had to pick it off (don't like sending food back). Overall, the wait staff is very friendly and the manager comes around to check everything out. I would recommend for a cheaper, casual dinner. But don't stray further than the fries or burgers. read more

Charlie and Andrew are the greatest servers I've ever experienced in my dining career. 10/10 food and service was spectacular.

Burgers were great. Service was fast. Charlotte was friendly and attentive and is an awesome waitress!

One of my absolute FAVORITE burger joints.. This location was the first Snuffer's I ever visited, and now I live right down the street from it. Coincidence, or my subconscious trying to tell me something...? The loaded cheese fries are great if you get them with everything on top and some ranch on the side, then dump the ranch on top and toss it all together with two forks. You're going to spill some of it, but the end product is like a delicious fried salad of potatoes, cheese, bacon, scallions, jalapenos and ranch that laughs on their way to your arteries at you as you engulf them. Yeah. I like the fries. The fried mushrooms are also quite delicious. They have a distinctive flavor of fresh cracked black pepper in the breading that makes them hard to stop eating. I've never had bad luck with the burgers either, I've tried quite a few of them and enjoyed each one. I usually get them medium rare, with the meat threatening to crumble apart as you eat it and seemingly melting in you mouth. Yum yum yum :) The only think that sucks about this place is I can only eat here maybe once a month. I'm sure if I let myself eat here more than that, I'd lose all control and end up keeling over from heart failure by the time I was 30. read more

I love Snuffers, both their food and bar drinks. Amy in the bar makes the best margaritas ever! I always try to hit the bar on days she works. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always family friendly, and my kids could eat their weight in cheese fries. I highly recommend this location for their excellent wait staff. read more

Consistent quality at a very reasonable price. A go-to place for lunch. The hamburgers are seriously fresh and delicious every single time. When I am craving a hamburger, I tend to go to Snuffers. The service is always prompt and friendly. I often get a bun less option with a salad, and they don't think twice about it. Matter of a fact , they offer a hamburger on a salad. It is seriously worth a trip here for a perfectly seasoned and cooked-to-your-request burger. read more

In first thing this morning. Employees still wearing masks! I'm glad this great brand is operating safely! Cant wait for the cheddar fries!

Of all the great burger places in Dallas like Angry Dog, Twisted Root, Hunky's, Maple & Motor, etc, I always compare with this place. Snuffer's burgers have great flavor, juicy, and the best thing of all about Snuffer's the BEST DAMN CHEESE FRIES!!!!!!!! Loaded or toppings on the side lots of ooey gooey cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, chopped bacon bits, jalapeños and a side of ranch! My mouth waters just thinking about 'em!!!! Only neg... service not always the greatest, and many locations could use some updating... other than that it is worth every minute! read more

Walked about a mile to try this restaurant out and I wasn't disappointed! I went to one of my personal favorites - Chicken Fried Steak - which came with mashed potatoes, corn and toast and it definitely stood up with the best of them. The gravy was spot on - a generous serving - and the mashed potatoes were a great compliment. I was disappointed by the toast which was a bit bland - but overall great down home meal. read more

Great service and great food My favorite burger is the bacon guacamole burger and the chocolate shakes are also really good.

Not really sure if time of day and or order type played a part in my experience but I am not impressed. I've heard about them several times. I work in the area so it was a suggestion for lunch. Due to a meeting during my normal lunch, I ordered a Turkey Burger to go. As I walked in to pick up my order I head straight to the bar. Not impressed with the greeting - Nothing horrible but not memorable either. Paid and left. This place was not busy - but its just seemed a little depressing. Maybe after hour - happy hour is better. While eating my anticipated Turkey Burger with Bacon - I was disappointed. No flavor - No seasoning - No Nothing. Even with the added bacon & jalapenos. Oh well... I came - I ate - I went. Not a MUST have in my opinion. read more

I make it a point to come here every December when I come back home for the holidays. A dear friend, who is no longer with us, introduced me to Snuffers back in high school, so needless to say the place provides not only great food, but also truly fond memories. I ALWAYS order the same thing...cheese fries, marinated chicken strips, and 2 Shiners. This particular concoction is as good as anything I've tasted. Each time it is also followed by the most glorious food induced two hour nap of the year. If you're the type who can embrace greasy awesomeness then don't sleep on Snuffers. read more

I met an old friend at Snuffers today for lunch. Even though it was a little loud, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and cozy to still chat privately. I had the blu cheese bacon burger & onion rings. Much to my surprise, it was delicious, the portions were perfect, and I'm not kicking myself in remorse for ordering what I expected to be a "grease burger". No offense, Snuffers... Your burger was very good, but catching up with my buddy was great! read more
