I love Snuffers, both their food and bar drinks. Amy in the bar makes the best margaritas ever! I always try to hit the bar on days she works. This location is almost as good as the original. I was meeting some friends here after work. I'm downtown but they are in Addison. It wasn't a bad drive up the Tollway. Food is about the same. Service is all right. The atmosphere isn't as good as Lower Greenville. It's hard to fault them for lack of Lower Greenville. But I guess I am. read more

Consistent quality at a very reasonable price. A go-to place for lunch. The hamburgers are seriously fresh and delicious every single time. When I am craving a hamburger, I tend to go to Snuffers. The service is always prompt and friendly. I often get a bun less option with a salad, and they don't think twice about it. Matter of a fact , they offer a hamburger on a salad. Not really sure if time of day and or order type played a part in my experience but I am not impressed. I've heard about them several times. I work in the area so it was a suggestion for lunch. Due to a meeting during my normal lunch, I ordered a Turkey Burger to go. As I walked in to pick up my order I head straight to the bar. Not impressed with the greeting - Nothing horrible but not memorable either. Paid and left. This place was not busy - but its just seemed a little depressing. Maybe after hour - happy hour is better. While eating my anticipated Turkey Burger with Bacon - I was disappointed. No flavor - No seasoning - No Nothing. Even with the added bacon & jalapenos. Oh well... I came - I ate - I went. I really want this joint to do well because I grew up in Dallas with their Cheddar Fries as a staple of my cheese and bread diet (which is now my son's primary sustenance). However, this new location is lame. I've tried it three times now, and all three times it's disappointed. The cheddar fries have come out just so-so warm. They used to be lava hot at the old location, with the cheese melted and delicious, not congealed and clumpy. After asking the waiter for a possible explanation, the manager came over and said the cooks sometimes try to get ahead of demand and so the fries may have been sitting around cooling off for a while. His solution: ask them to prepare our order with fresh hot fries next time. My solution: don't go back. read more

I looked into this place when all other trendy sports bars in addison were full with long wait times. Initially I noticed the place was stuck in time with the decor and music selection (80s hits) but I later realized why this place was so popular - the food! I had the Bleu cheese bacon burger and it was so moist and delicious. The bun, patty thickness, and flavor combination was mouth watering and the loaded cheese fries very rich and delicious. Be sure to get them loaded and get them in a small size to share with a friend, I accidentally got a small for myself and it was too much. The place grew on me since it had a neighborhood feel and friendly staff. I will definitely be back. 4.5 star review. read more

One of my favorite places in the Dallas area! With a great atmosphere and wonderful food snuffers is a must try in my mind. The food is truly wonderful, the best thing on the menu is the cheese fries which are everything you could ask for at a great price. My suggestion is to get a large order of the cheese fries with everything to split with four people and each person get one of the fantastic burgers and a beer. The staff is also a bright spot. I came in with a group of over twenty people without calling ahead on a busy night and not only did they check in with is constantly, get the food out quickly, be very courteous, they also engaged with us in a way that took the experience up a notch. read more

We visited the new location off of Beltline and the atmosphere is much better..larger seating areas and a really nice bar. We were seated for 8 in the corner front of the restaurant and waited quite a while to get any service. He took our drink order and waited about 5 mins for soda and tea. He took our order, but i just took too long, about 40 minutes. The guy just seemed to to have some problems. The manager came over when we were seated, so no chance to tell him how things were doing. Anyway, the burgers are awesome and we'll be returning for sure. Hopefully we get a better expereince. read more

Stopped on a Friday evening. Sat at bar. Didn't order alcohol but ordered two burgers and cheddar fries. 40 minutes later still not delivered. Asked bartender if we had gotten our order behind a fifty top? She said we are very busy. Kept asking if we wanted a drink. Kept saying we wanted to eat. Manager finally came around and offered a drink on the house. Didn't want drinks wanted food. He said "we are having a very good night". I don't really care how good of night you are having. When others who came in after us are eating and we are not and no action, no need to ever go back. Been to other Snuffer's in the past and never this problem. Maybe this manager should be more concerned with customers than his bottom line. Because without customers there is no bottom line. Not everyone drinks. When it comes to burgers, Snuffer's can be described with one word: Badass. This is a serious burger place. E. coli and subsequent litigation be damned; this is one of the few places I know that you can still get your burger cooked RARE (though there is no way in all of hades that I would ever tempt fate like that.) At Snuffer's, you get a huge hunk of burger served up on a great bun, covered in lettuce, tomato, etc that is cut/chopped just right. I really don't see how anyone could take a bite and not think, "This is one of the best things that I have ever eaten." Really. Often, I literally can't move after I eat one, because they are enormous. My favorite is the Mushroom Swiss burger, but I have more to say about some of the other varieties in my subsequent review of the Southlake location. Now, here's a problem: as I read through the other reviews on here, everybody is raving about the cheese fries. What's the problem, you ask? Well, I [generally] don't like cheese. There are only about 5 varieties that I can tolerate, but cheddar isn't one of them. Therefore, for all the times I have been here (I used to go a LOT, because I worked within easy walking distance,) I have NEVER had their world famous cheese fries, and have no desire to. I've never had a bad burger or cheese fries any Snuffer's location! I stopped in about a month ago to check out their new location and I liked it. I like that is a little more roomy and you don't feel as crammed in as you did at the other location that was in Addison. The food was great as always and my only complaint was it took probably about five minutes before anyone came to the table to take a drink order. That didn't really bother me because it was very busy on that Sunday afternoon and the waiter did apologize and did take care of us the rest of the time we were there. Whatever you get there, you do have to get an order of cheese fries. I've learned my lesson and usually stick with the smallest order! I always get my burgers well done and they always taste great. read more

My family and I were not really Snuffers' fans at the old Addison location on Midway as it was run down and the food was basically a one or two star at best. The move to the new Beltline location has revived both the the staff and food. We had a great meal shortly after it re-opened and the burgers, especially the Mushroom and Swiss Burger was cook perfectly. We have been back twice since then. Second bad visit in a row. Will not be back. Server was friendly but incredibly slow service. It took 50 minutes to receive our order. We started with an order of Cheese fries and fried mushrooms. Both appetizers were lukewarm at best. The cheese on the fries had already started to set and we had to use a knife to serve them. Mushrooms were ok but still lukewarm. I had the new special brats. They were lukewarm as well and slightly undercooked. They were more like hotdogs than brats. Very disappointing in flavor and presentation. They no longer have the onion strings, they are now onion fries. They were over breaded and tough. Really not sure what's going on with Snuffer's but I'm not coming back to find out. read more

I visited this location today with my husband and daughter for the first time and i am immensely impressed with their customer service! never have I had so many waiters/waitresses stop my table to ask if we needed anything.. usually if you flag a server who's not responsible for your table, you get an "I will get your waiter/waitress" instead of an "can I get you anything.?" we will be back soon!
