Been coming here for awhile. I usually always bring a friend. Alex always does an amazing job. Today however was AWFUL. Not sure who she is. Everything started out great. I never get my nails done here. I decided to match my pedi I got the day prior. I explained what I wanted right away. She agreed she could do it no problem. I usually go to another salon but my tech was out of town, So I went with a BASIC acrylic no gel regular polish. I accidentally smudge my nails on the plastic wall between us (my mistake but it happens) I apologized and asked if she could fix it. She decided to slap more polish on to which I immediately said no I don't want a thick coat of polish. I would like it Removed and done it again. The whole mood changes. All of a sudden she was unable to do a design (I just wanted clouds) I could see the irritation so I said nevermind we won't do it & we can find someone else to. She doesn't ask anyone else. She gets another girl to finish my polish. Again extremely irritated like how dare I mess them Up??? Again my fault. It happens. I go to the front where I stand for maybe 5 minutes before someone comes to take my payment. It's $50!!!!???? I almost screamed. The only explanation they could give me was $20 extra for the NAIL LENGTH??? a joke and a half. They really needed that extra dub. Update : this crap lasted less than one day read more

This nail salon used to be nicer when they were Avie Nail Salon (new management is SNS). When it was Avie, the salon was much cleaner, there was someone at the front desk to greet you and help with the flow of customers. Now you walk in and you are barely greeted. They have a sign-in sheet but it doesn't seem like anyone is following it. Also, this salon is now grossly under staffed which makes the services extremely slow and when you do get a technician, the services are very rushed. The worse change is; I do not see the technicians sterilizing their instruments as they used to before (which I am sure raises some health concerns). This salon is very close to my house--so it is pretty convenient; however, the prices at this salon are not cheap--they need to bring their level of service up to match their price point. read more

When I asked her to fix the thickness of the acrylic and to properly shape my nails she did not want to do it until I threatened to not pay her for the services. Horrible customer service! I walked in and I was asked "how can I help you?" I responded and she looks at the tech next to her and says something and continues to work. Didn't tell me anything else. I stood there for a couple minutes and then eventually sat down. I felt so uncomfortable that I walked out. I live, literally, right behind the salon and have been here once. I really wanted (and needed) a pedicure and a friend of mine gets them all the time. I asked him where he went and this was his place. He also recommended a particular tech but when I got there, she was busy with another client. I was given the opportunity to make an appointment with her and come back another day or go with the tech that was available. I went with the available tech. I was taken right away and the tech was very friendly. As she worked on my nails, we chatted about many things and actually knew the friend who recommended this place. Not sure if I got better treatment because of that but either way, she was pleasant and efficient. They had a good deal for a pedicure and manicure so I had both done. I was very happy with the results. I did get a color on my toes... who does not like a bit of color? The service itself was fine. The price was good and the results were good for me. I don't do this often... only once or twice a year to treat myself. I have paid more for this type of service and have had worst results so I was satisfied with what I got for the money. My only complaint would be about the decor of the place. It looks like there was a change in ownership or management and nobody changed the decor. It looked a bit dated... worn down... old. Like when you go to a mall and it looks like its from the 1970s... Being in the design field, this bothered me but hey... it does not effect the quality of my nails. Stopped in this afternoon after running my errands. Had to wait about 15/20 minutes before I got to see a nail technician. But I was lucky enough to get young man name Tim. He did a very thorough job in both cleaning my fingernails and my toenails. Now you see I have arthritis so I told him that to be very careful and gentle with me and he did just that I had no problems out of him. The place is under new management. Only thing I was a little disappointed was with they charge me $60 just for a basic pedicure and to change my nail polish. I thought it was a little high maybe others might not think it but I will return in the future. One of the nail technicians tell me because of the fact that I have arthritis in my feet and I should try something called, The dead sea salts pedicure. And to come get that done Monday through Wednesday you'll save $10. I found out after my procedures that that pedicure would be $60 save -10 $50. Come in Monday through Wednesday to save that $10. This was a test run for my wedding. i was told by Diane that she could do it. $50 later... l come out with a French Pedicure, swollen feet, shortest toe nails, black and blue toe possibly infected. My toes were fine when I went in and I'm in Soo much pain 10 hours later... Honestly my pedicure looks like I went back to the early 2000's.. Awful. Will never walk in that place again. Will not go back to this nail salon. First off, there was no toilet tissue or paper towels in the restroom and the toilet would not flush. I was given the quickest pedicure ever and not the one I asked for. The chairs are terribly uncomfortable and leave a huge gap between your rear and back. Also, they were playing a soccer game on th TV quite loudly the entire time I was there. This is a place where people want to relax and they should have been playing music of some sort...definitely not soccer! Also, my nail tech was nice enough to ask if I wanted glitter on my nails but when I realized I did not like it, she gave me no problems in taking it off. Went in for a dip manicure with gold strip designs, and regular manicure for my dad just to clean up his nails. His service was fine. I was told I'd have to use a gel top coat and not the dip top coat, because of the gold strip design. The top coat and gold strips started peeling back just a few hours later. The salon was closed by then, so I came back the next day (today) and was told they could try something different, but couldn't guarantee it would stay. Then I asked about just taking the design off and coating my nails with the regular dip top coat--I'd only get an $8 refund for a $15 service, because of labor :/ which I get, but I also was not warned that the original plan might not work (of course). I will never touch a foot in this ghetto Asian nail salon. The problem is is that the girls that are young they're having rival problems with the pretty customer girls that are coming in to get their nails done like girlfriend you work here as a nail tech that's your job to be kind to pretty women don't hate your job because other pretty women come in here for service! I moved here about a month ago for law school. I've been wanting to do something for myself since my life is so encompassed with studying. my pedicure was peaceful and relaxing. The only thing I would critique is how fast the technician went when doing it. I personally like for it to not feel so rushed. My nail tech, Lisa, was awesome. Well today i had an appt at 5 and turns out Kelly is gone for a week. I understand it was An emergency but that's why they have my number saved so that they can call me and notify me. 45 min drive to have to drive back home. This was the final straw for me. The salon itself is beautiful and I wanted to give it a chance because it's close by but the customer service is terrible. Believe me they partake in price gouging. Every time I go it's $80, $100, $113 when I get the same thing done each time. If you ask them about it they have an attitude and act like you're inconveniencing them. As a business owner myself, I treat my customers as kindly as possible and I would never find it as an issue for a breakdown of what the customer is paying, if they're willing to come to me for services.
