I've never felt more unwelcome. I want to share about my visit to this particular Snowtime on 6/28 around 7:40pm. Mind you, I had no idea at the time they closed at 8pm. Perhaps this is why I received such poor customer service. My husband and I walked up to the counter already noticing the two young ladies (no idea what their names are because I did not see any name tags) one was taller with thick curly hair & sunglasses on her head that said "class of 2024", the other girl was shorter, light brown hair with bangs & glasses. I was not greeted with a smile or pleasant tone when talking my order. I was given rolled eyes & attitude. Barely any eye contact. I asked if I could simplify my dessert combination ingredients, essentially creating my own combination (which I've done at every other snowtime I've visited) and I was met with a monotoned, "we don't do that here." I said, "oh really? I've gotten it before??" I started to review the menu again to quickly make another choice and then, she said, "well you have to pay full price and then we will make it for you how you want." "Ok, I'm fine with that! Thank you!" I said. She proceeded to *TAP TAP TAP* rather aggressively on the iPad-She seemed to have an issue ringing it up, so she called the other girl over who rolled her eyes and took a deep sigh while continuing to ring me up. I tried to keep my reply's and expression extra polite and upbeat to help counteract the attitude I was receiving. At this point, I have not said anything to my husband, however he was the first to lean over and whisper to me, "is everything OK? Is there something wrong? " It takes a lot for my husband to notice things like this so for him to say something to me first should tell you something. We step back to wait for our order. Two other customers went after us & they were met with the same customer service that I received. Well, we continue to wait, the two girls were slamming things around while making the desserts...receipts, cups, ingredients, containers of sauce, etc.. Then, in the middle of making my order, the girl with the thick curly hair looks to the other and says, "Ew. Who would even order this? " The other girl says. "Ew I have no freaking idea." As if I already don't feel like an inconvenience to their life; Now they're making fun of my order IN FRONT OF ME? At this point I'm so annoyed. All of us customers stood around, looking at each other, wondering what the heck was going on? Two people walked up to the counter, and one of the young girls said with an attitude, "WERE CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT." Is it so hard to have a pleasant tone and simply say, "hey guys I'm so sorry we're actually closed for the evening, thanks for coming though!" Apparently not for these two. She continues hustling around behind the counter, rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing, slamming things down all over the counter and shoving the desserts away as they call them. At this point, I'm pissed. I just paid extra for dessert that I've never had to pay extra for, I tipped 20% for service that was beyond horrible. It wasn't just me who saw it. I suppose they were mad they closed in 20 minutes and a handful of people showed up after dinner to get dessert before they closed? But that's not my problem? She was obviously annoyed and was making us pay for it with her bad attitude. I don't know who manages this place, but the staff certainly needs to be trained on customer service etiquette. I've worked in many food service places in the past... I get it, but that's no reason to lash out on customers. Especially when they're willing to pay more and tip well! When my order was called, I walked out to the counter and very politely and kindly said, "thank you so much! By the way (gesturing to the girl in glasses who was the most vocal and rude) Are you OK?" "IM FINE." I said, " are you sure? Because you don't seem like it?" "IM FINE." (Both times barely looking at me when she answered. I said, " OK because I don't understand what's going on, this whole experience has been very uncomfortable, it seems like something is wrong and maybe you need a break? I don't know. But I also want to mention that I don't appreciate you making fun of my order when I'm standing right here. Ok? I don't know what's going on, but everyone just needs to take a breath and calm down. You're making us uncomfortable." "OK!" They said to me with attitude. My husband and I walked away, thankfully still able to enjoy our treats. We talked for maybe 10 minutes afterwards about what a crazy experience that was. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this one was horrible. I wish I could get my money back. My husband and I don't get much time to ourselves to go on a date and it really sucks to be treated this way when beforehand we were having such a good time. It honestly makes me never want to go to this specific location again. read more

Wasn't sure if the quality of the fantastic fish cones would be as good in their HMart location. We were not disappointed - our fish was fantastic and now we don't need to drive as far to get our fix. Definitely recommend the fish cone with soft serve - Macha green tea with custard & mochi is our favorite. read more

Yum! Was excited to find this gem hidden deep inside the HMart food court. The snow ice here is light and fluffy, topped with a generous amount of toppings. Most of the combinations on the menu sounded too sweet to me, but B liked the Choco Butter Kisses (snickers, brownies, chocolate chips, graham-crumbs, chocolate, and caramel). I was a fan of the Matcha Love- just the perfect amount of sweetness with matcha dust, red bean, mochi, and topped with a scoop of matcha ice cream. The small size is very big- I can't imagine getting a large! Would def order this again when I'm stopping in for groceries. read more

I've been on the hunt for a great strawberry matcha in Arizona and I wanted to take my friend to try taiyaki. This spot is conveniently located in the H-mart food court. The strawberry matcha here is the closest I've found so far to my favorite bubble tea spot in Seattle. It was fantastic! The matcha/taro swirl taiyaki was also really good, but I wish there was a little more matcha flavor. The ice cream was fluffy and the taiyaki was crispy and soft. There was no line and service was very fast. I definitely want to come back to try some of the other restaurants in the food court and come here again for dessert after! read more

The worst service!! The "manager" is what he called himself, which I know for a fact was not the manager. He was absolutely the most condensing person I've ever met. He needs to get a job somewhere where he has zero contact with everyday people!! I will check out the one in Chandler, hopefully their not all run the same but please stay away from the one in HMart, Mesa! I as Snowtime customer, always enjoy the products. Today I have bad experience with Mesa location. Employee name, Brandon, serve me for put the drinks in the cup holder and open the top lid and spill the drinks and just cover with his bare hand to pretend like nothing happen even though I was standing right in front of his face without saying sorry or any apology. He just went into the kitchen. I asked one of other employee for manager, he told me that she was not in the store. I couldn't even complain to fix the problem right there. I know that Snowtime is good company to serve delicious deserts, but with this ugly experience, I would choose other company for better service. I really don't like the company employees or people don't have basic manner or etiquette toward to customers or other people. read more

Be aware! Snow time has now moved into the HMART. They are creating a food court of different Asian cuisines and I AM HERE FOR IT. I went on a Saturday and it was insanely packed but still worth the ice cream. The wait wasn't too long and staff was helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to try all the other restaurants though! He then continued to be be rude the entire interaction, I tried to brush it off but he ended up getting my order wrong as well!
