3.5 stars! This is a really cute spot with a great Lakeview! The staff was really friendly and the decor was on point... cozy and contemporary. The organic tea was awesome! I ordered the blueberry rooibos ($3ish) was unique and loose leaf. The espresso was fine. But the disappointing thing was the dessert sadly. We ordered the ice cream honey bread $10.99 (overpriced for what it is)... it was very mediocre! Tasted like prepackaged bread toasted with drizzle of syrup over 3 small scoops of ice cream. The picture looked good, the presentation was good, but that's about it. I would give them a second chance, but I would stay away from anything prepackaged. I would go back for the tea anyday! I've decided I'm absolutely in love with this place. I've avoided going because I figured they wouldn't have anything vegan, but they were willing to veganize the Oreo and strawberry ones for me. I had such a nice time. The ambiance in here is really stellar, though be warned there's never any seats when I've been because there are so many people on their computers in here. Super yummy, I share the small with my bf so I'm not sure who's capable of eating the larger size, but kudos to them. A joy, open late, definitely worth checking out. read more

We came here for some Korean shaved ice. It was slow I guess because it was a Friday after lunch hours. Walking in the store reminds me of the Cafes in Seoul. This is a cute little place with a patio by the lake. The three of us all got the shaved ice: the green tea and the mango cheesecake with extra red bean topping. The flavor of green tea was very mild and I hope they could make it stronger and stand out more. The price is a little steep for the portion. This is why I am giving a 3. I got to try the mango cheesecake from my boyfriend and I liked it better than my green tea. We sat in the patio and it was very relaxing. SnowBean is such a great place for coffee and dessert. The interior definitely has that cute cafe feel. I took my grandparents here so it was good for all ages. We decided to sit outside to get a taste of the FL weather, gladly it was breezy that day. We ordered the mango cheesecake shaved ice in the bowl size, that was $11 ish. It was not bad bc we end up sharing it with 6 people. I asked for extra condense milk because it taste better that way. The bowl is filled with mango and cheesecake pieces on top and also in the middle, which is very surprising. We also got a SnowBean Coffee, which was featured that month or week. Correct me if I'm wrong however we didn't like it that much, it tasted like a Starbucks Frappuccino, so it wasn't worth $5. Other than that, the mango cheesecake shaved ice was good. How has it took this long for me to check out Snow Bean?! It's a hidden treasure of Orlando for sure. This was my first Korean Dessert Cafe and I loved it. It's a very cozy cafe connected to the Izziban Sushi and Korean BBQ. It's a great spot to study and enjoy a green tea latter or delicious shaved Ice overlooking a beautiful lake. They offer hot drinks, dessert, icecream and basically all your Korean dreams. For my first experience I had the Green tea shaved ice. It's so delicious with shaved ice, mochi, cereal, and green tea powder. Craving for sweets and shaved ice late at night Parking: Ample spaces but if you are coming from east side, be sure to slow down to turn into the lot. If you pass it, it'll be another mile or two before you can U-turn legally. Inside: Freezing cold. It was unbearable to stand in front of the freezer to read the menu. Outside: Nice patio with tables overlooking the lake. Not recommended at night due to the moisture and humidity that you will most likely be food to the mosquitos. The patio area share spaces with the Korean joint next door. Lighting is also dim which made it hard for us to eat outside but it was warmer than inside. I got the SnowBean shaved ice. It came with cereal, mocha, toppings. I was craving for shaved ice late at night. The girl recommended to substitute cereal for strawberries to make it more fruity. I agreed. When I got my cup, there was cereal! Turns out another employee started his shift and he completed my order. I got my strawberries but now there's this unwanted sugary crunch from the cereal. I ate the fruit and scooped the cereal on the side. All I came across was toppings and barely any ice. The ice became contaminated with the cereal. Finally got to the bottom but by this time, the ice melted and just tasted like condense milk. Needless to say, the cup was a waste. I got no shaved ice and a bunch of unwanted sugary cereal. Had I known that, I would just gotten plain shaved ice by itself. This place seems to be stingy on their shaved ice. It's done in layers but the toppings was overkill. The cafe is attached to a Korean bbq spot so would be a good stop after a meal (we didn't try the k-bbq). I like that they offer a small and large for the bingsoo (shaved ice) since I'm used to just one large size that's way too much for 1 person or to have after eating too much. It was around 1930 or so when we went and several people were on their computers or hanging out. There is an outdoor area where you can add a lock to the railings. The bingsoo had corn flakes, mochi with red bean, red beans and matcha powder. The center of the ice was a little too dry and would have liked to see more layering liquid to enhance the ice, but overall it was still tasty. read more

This is a cute little Instagram worthy dessert place that is tucked in the corner of the parking lot, off the water and next to the Izziban BBQ place. There's these little bakery items like slices of cakes, sweet bread, mochi, and macarons, but the reason to come here is their cups of delicious snow. The snow is a "Korean style" shaved ice desert, with combination flavors of green tea, mochi, chocolate, strawberry and red bean. They also have Teas and Coffee, but like I said, you come here for the shaved ice. The atmosphere is clean, quiet and calm, kind of like Starbucks during the day (non-rush hours), with people sitting at tables on their laptops and minding their business and sipping coffee. The staff is very nice, friendly, eager to help and super sweet. Both the staff and the environment is very inviting. I believe I ordered the Choco Reo, but I cannot confirm because I remembered that night i was wanting brownies, oreos, and shaved ice lol. All I can remembered is that it was chocolate, it was cold, it instantly dissolved in my mouth, and it was DELICIOUS. It was the perfect end to the night after dinner. I've been meaning to check this place out since I saw an ad for the soft opening and their bingsu. It shares a parking lot with Izziban next door so you won't run into much trouble with that unless it's a busy night. It faces the lake which gives you a lovely view while enjoying your treats. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered a Iced Matcha Latte and I thoroughly enjoyed it - not too sweet or chalky. They don't seem to fancy up drinks which is perfect if you're a simple person like me. I think they prefer to shine through their bingsu with the support of Cafe and pastries. If pastries appeal to you I'd recommend looking at those before you walk straight to the counter to order. It's a great place to relax and talk/work. Cute little spot to gravitate to for your after dinner treat! The only thing about this place is it's hidden next to the sushi bbq place so it's hard to see it if you don't pay attention. The desserts are to die for especially the cheesecake. Highlight- this is a korean bakery, bingsu, and coffee shop that is located right next to the super popular and giant sushi and korean barbecue place. The desserts at the korean barbecue is mostly mass chopped up fruit- so if you want something more put together, despite it being sweet and mildly high in flour, this is a nice place to go after your korean barbecue spree. The decor inside is charming, romantic, and very comfortable with dimmed lights and frosty signs. We ordered a small green tea bingsu which was adequately flavored with the green tea and the Frosted Flakes brought a sugar punch to this light snowy dish. It's been a trend to put cereals with these bing su dishes, and Frosted Flakes went well with the green tea one. The desserts here are not too sweet or too heavy- similar to the Korean bakery trend that you will find in other larger cities. The principle is light sugar, fluffy, and aesthetically cutesy looking desserts. Nothing is brightly decorated, no harsh colorings, nothing too artificial looking- everything is earth tones, and the flavors tend to be earthy and natural- won't find any key lime, rum, raspberry whizzle, or Reese's flavored things here. Usually coffee, chocolate, green tea, grains, and strawberry are the main flavors done here- but the trick is to make sure none of them are overly done in flavor or sugar. for someone interested in something cool and refreshingly light, go for a bingsu. If you want something more cozy, opt for the breads or Swiss roll slices paired with a good coffee or hot chocolate. I got the Dalgona - shaved ice , Dalgona (brown sugar chunks), vanilla ice cream , mochi , cereal and covered with condensed milk. How am I just NOW finding out about this place?! A cafe that doesn't close until 2am with the most tastiest looking treats I've ever seen? Sign me up! Ohhhhh, and you can take a cute little photo opt with the angel wings outside. :) They offer all different samples of the swirl cake. I literally tried every single one, I know me in free samples. However, they didn't have the green tea flavor but I ended up getting that one because of the unique flavor. They offered like 15% off on the cakes but they aren't pricey, I think it was only $2. The shaved ice snow bean was pretty good and different to other deserts. I ordered the small, $4. It's super sweet, so a small is more than enough. It normally comes with almonds but they were out and offered cereal. I think having the cereal tasted better and it looked nicer too. Don't opt for the lattes here, my boyfriend got one and it tasted a bit stale, like the coffee had been sitting around. :( read more

SnowBean is without a doubt, and in my humble opinion; one of the most charming coffee places in town. If you see some of the pics that myself and some other Yelpers have taken, you will be able to notice that the patio area is not only clean and relaxing, but offers a fantastic view of the lake; especially if you go to watch the sun set. If that alone is not reason enough to come and check SnowBean out, I'll throw another reason your way; the coffee is excellent. I had the pleasure of enjoying a cafe latte ($3.25) and it was really delicious, they use good quality coffee here. Coffee, and ambiance still not reason enough? OK; how about a large array of Asian cakes and pastries? Granted; it's brought from an outside provider, but my friend and I had a lot of fun buying several varieties and trying them out. My personal favorite was one called: "Evaporated milk bread" When I first got it I thought it was literally just two slices of bread but sandwiched between the slices is this honey-butter like spread that is absolutely delicious when eaten with a cup of coffee, mainly because it wasn't too sweet like most desserts. As far as flavor goes, this place is awesome. If you're looking for a good, clean atmosphere, this isn't your spot. SnowBean is located on the highway in between a few car lots (a little hard to find if you don't know it's there). There's a big sign that says "Coffee" on the road, but the words "SnowBean" are written very small on it. Even as I was turning in, I wasn't sure if I was going to the right place. The building itself is right on the water (which was unexpected and kind of cool, actually). SnowBean shares a space with an all-you-can-eat sushi and BBQ joint, so don't get confused if you walk through the wrong door like I did :D I ordered a nitro coffee and it was both reasonably priced ($2.79) and delicious! Not bitter and delightfully bubbly. The atmosphere was different than the typical coffee shops I'm used to. It had little Asian touches throughout like an tiny gift shop with Asian candies / journals. So unique and unexpected! The two downsides I can tell are that there is only 1 outlet in the whole shop (making it an non-ideal place to work unless you get the table right under it) and the interior could use some updating, as some of the couches were torn and the walls were scuffed and dirty. For those reasons, I give it a 3/5. read more

So you gotta add extras for $0.50 per topping (mango, red bean, strawberry, blueberry, Mochi (rice cake), Oreo, almond ) The ice itself is milk based and it's very soft and fluffy. So I tried to be healthy and change my green tea latte to almond milk and it was a big mistake ! Just get it with milk. Unless you're lactose intolerant ... but trust me, almond and matcha don't belong together. They had many pastries, but I didn't get any. Although they had some cookie samples available. Came here for Bingsu after having tried it in Hawaii. The Bingsu disappointed as the quality of the ingredients are terrible. The mango was slimey canned mango and the chocolate sauce was cheap syrup that resembled the Hershey's syrup. The Bingsu itself was good but the toppings ruined it. The cafe itself is very cozy and relaxing while overlooking a lake. Great for studying. read more

I always have a wonderful time here. I come here often with my cousin to study. They cafe is small, so it does get packed quickly! The coffee and dessert selection here is really good! I usually get a Veanna coffee with cream. If I have a sweet tooth that day, I go for a mocha bite, or one of the chocolate pastries. I love coming here at least 2-3 times a week. The staff here is very friendly and a delight to talk to! Come in when Gianni is there, he'll talk to you with the perfect level of sass!
