I have been coming here for years, but no more. Over time they have just gotten worse. Lately there has been something wrong with every order. Now my pants are fading and I think they are washing them, instead of dry cleaning, but I am paying for drying cleaning. There are stains on my shirts, and it seems like they are only pressing them, and not cleaning. Now I am missing a pair of pants. It is so frustrating to get dressed for work in the morning. You think you're getting something that is clean and freshly pressed out of the closet, only two find stains on the shirts when you look in the mirror. Very disappointed. I have used Snow cleaners as a dry cleaners in the past and noted how incredibly quickly they get my order back to me. But lately I had a sweater that I needed altered. I gave it to another person who had done sewing for me in the past. She kept the sweater for FOUR months. I finally went in and picked it up myself. I went in to try Snow cleaners and spoke with the owner, Ali. He had me try the sweater on and said "is that all you needed?" When I told him yes, he said "would Tuesday be soon enough?" (that was four days). I could not believe it! I've visited Snow Cleaners 3 times in the last few months for dry cleaning and alterations services. I have been consistently impressed each time. The employees here are friendly and prompt. I can tell they are very busy, but they always take time to genuinely engage with customers and provide excellent service. The clothing alterations/tailoring service here is really excellent! I have had two pair of mens trousers hemmed (shortened) and brought in. I also brought in a my doctoral graduation gown to be brought in because it was too wide. In all cases I was beyond impressed and happy with quality of fit, the price, and the fast turnaround time. I was initially unsure of trusting anyone to cut and trim a sentimental piece of clothing like a graduation gown, but after I got it back I can only offer my highest recommendations. read more

RUDE Owner. TERRIBLE Service. POOR Quality. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to Snow Cleaners to get my wedding dress preserved late last year. Prior to getting my wedding dress preserved here, I was a regular customer for about 2-3 years for dry cleaning. I showed up early one day to ask the owner questions about their dress preservation process. I did apologize to the owner as I had a lot of questions regarding their process and just emphasized the fact that my dress is very special to me and I want to ensure its taken care of properly. The owner was nice in the beginning. However, when I returned less than 30 minutes later to drop off my dress I had 2 more questions and the owner was very rude to me before I asked these questions and told me he didn't have time for this. Hesitantly, I decided to proceed with the preservation at Snow Cleaners. When I showed up 2 weeks later to pick up my dress, the owner could not find my dress. At this time, There were some employees cleaning the facility that started helping him and they searched through a rack of dresses. I am not sure what chemicals they were using the clean the facility, but they touched all of these dresses with their bare hands. When they finally found mine on the same rack, the owner said it was clean it just needed to be put in the preservation box. This was another red flag for me as the dress was exposed to natural oils and possibly other chemicals these employees were cleaning with when they touched my dress before packing it in the box. I came back a few days later to pick up my preservation box and when I opened it to see the display window, I saw my dress was not properly placed/positioned into the box. It was literally STUFFED into the box and the dress was barely visible through the display window. Some of the dress was also outside of the preservation box. It was terrible. I didn't go back to complain in person as the owner had already been rude to me before. I will not be returning here again for any reason. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

I really like this place. I brought in a sentimental article of clothing where the zipper was broken. I asked the owner to replace the zipper completely. The owner actually fixed the zipper without having to replace it. Saved me a few bucks, but really I would have paid full price for a new zipper. This man was nice, professional and caring. I recently moved to Camarillo and was in need of a dry cleaner/tailor. I read the reviews on this location and figured why not try it out. I brought in a few pairs of slacks, then finally a dress I needed for an event. I was blown away that for the dress I was only charged for $12. I figured this is amazing, and decided to bring the dress back after the even to have cleaned before storing it again. This time the price was nearly $23. I have only ever worked with one person at this shop, he takes my drop offs and has been the same one I deal with for pick ups. My issue is the inconsistency of the pricing. How for the same piece of clothing are you charging from $12 to $23. If this had been the same price all along then fine, but to change it in the span of a week?? That's ridiculous. There was no special, no sale. Just inconsistent pricing. I don't appreciate being hustled like that. Watch out for this dry cleaner. I'd say prepay if you're desperate enough to come here. read more
