I've never had any of my clothes dry cleaned before. My husband is away at basic training for the Army & asked that I take an outfit to the dry cleaners for him when I go to his graduation. I brought in a pair of Levi's pants & a Pendelton flannel. I dropped the clothes off on Monday & picked them up Thursday. I met 3 of the employees, all of them were so kind & had great smiles. I learned that one of their grandfather's owns the business & I was happy to have chose them to go to. My husband just wanted that one outfit dry cleaned. I have just moved to Camarillo earlier this year and so this was the first time I was in need of a dry cleaners. I found Camarillo Cleaners through Yelp. I called them around noon on Friday and explained that my family and I were going to a funeral the next day-Saturday morning. My son had waited until the last minute to check out the condition of his suit and, unfortunately, it was very wrinkled. It was beyond home ironing skills, lol. I explained the situation to Alisa (not sure I'm spelling her name right). She was very reassuring and said to bring the suit in and they could press it and have it back to me later the same afternoon! She was very kind and I breathed a sigh of relief. I went back and picked it up later that afternoon and it looked great. I am so grateful to have found this dry cleaners! It's a family-owned business started by their grandfather. Love this place. About 2 years ago I had an interview for a promotion I had been working towards, that came up very suddenly. I brought in my "interview attire" on EXTREMELY short notice and asked for the quickest turn around time possible given the circumstance. Take into consideration, I was not a client at this point. The owner went out of his way to get my pants, dress shirt and tie back to me the same day, ready to go. He refused to allow me to pay, just telling me - "Good luck, get that job". That will stick with me forever. Suffice to say, I did get the job and go nowhere else but here. Long story short, the comforter I brought in to be cleaned came back more dirty than when I dropped it off. Being in the Navy, I need a good dry cleaner for my dress whites. First time I used them, I got my whites back with the same obvious spots. Gave them a second chance since they are so conveniently located near my house and got the same results. I had to park behind the cleaners due to lack of parking and the owner intentionally blocked me in with his vehicle. After hunting him down in the local shops, he said that was his parking. I've been going to Camarillo Cleaners for about 40 years and I'm 43. I didn't drive there when I was 3, they used to pick up and deliver to the house. That's changed, what hasn't is the service. Eldin is by far the nicest business owner I have ever dealt with. He's the kind of guy who'll treat you like a person, not a number. I've never had a problem with them but if I did, I know Eldin would make it right. Or you could check out someone else but I guarantee they won't be as friendly and accommodating as Camarillo Cleaners. The only room for improvement would be they're not environmentally friendly with all the plastic use and chemicals but that is hard to find anywhere in the dry cleaning business. They also have a seamstress that does a great job with sewing repairs. read more

He has a great eye for detail, and will not return any clothes to the customer until they are cleaned as good as they can be (I have taken many items in that I have done some serious damage to, but he always returns them to me as good as new).
