Rarely do I ever go to the dry cleaners, but when I do I literally won't go anywhere else. Helen is an absolute GEM. A literal angel. She's so sweet, so caring, and always gets the job done, at a reasonable price! I've taken stuff to be dry cleaned; dresses, shirts, pants, jackets. I've also had stuff altered; buttons sewed back on, holes patched, pants hemmed. I've never been disappointed. I've even taken a backpack to be dry cleaned, and although it was just a TAD pricier, since she actually has a specialist for pieces like this, it was so worth it. Looked brand new. I will not take anything to these cleaners. I have had them dry clean my expensive dress shirts only to have them returned damaged. they were new and had not yet been washed. after I picked them up I realized they were damaged. one had the cover of the buttons pressed into the buttons and left circles where the buttons are, the other was melted on the back. when I reported the damages they asked me to bring them in to see if they could fix them, refused to reimburse me for the shirts. Fist time I let it slide ,second time my fault. There will not be a third time. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I have been going to Helen for over one year now and she has been fantastic - UNTIL she loses an item of your clothing!!! I lost a very nice, full length periwinkle blue fully lined J Crew Coat that she MISPLACED. I had the claim ticket in hand, and yet she still suggested that I already picked it up and maybe it was at home. She even took my claim ticket as she was looking for the coat and would not give it back! I went home to make sure the coat was not in my small apartment closet (unfortunately leaving the claim ticket at her shop) - and when I returned, she denied even having the coat at all and that there was no claim ticket!!!! Only when another customer walked it and witnessed this exchange - did Helen offer to "reprint" my claim ticket. Off to BBB and small claims court to get back $400! *never again* read more

I've been bring my clothes here for at least 2 years now. Helen and her staff remembered me by name probably by my 2nd or 3rd visit. I've had Helen alter pants, suit jackets, and re attach buttons. All very well done. They also work on the conservative side, which I highly appreciate. I got a call once when they spot tested a new dress, which looked as if it would fade when dry cleaning. Very nice of them as I've had a dress ruined years ago that wasn't spot checked. I went ahead and had the dress cleaned and it was totally fine. I had actually purchased two of the same dresses, so I new I had a backup if something happened. I didn't even see any fading when I compared the two. As far as pricing, they were pretty similar to where I used to bring my clothes in Thousand Oaks, even a little less. I haven't compared pricing in Camarillo. At this point I wouldn't even bother. This has been a great experience for me! I have been pleased with great service and great cleaning. I would highly recommend Rancho! I found this place by accident after a total of 7 return/redo visits to get the same shirt ironed at Las Posas Cleaners across the street. Helen, I believe was her name, was friendly and very helpful when I came in for the first time earlier this week. She was able to accommodate my requests and time restrictions. I decided to take my shirts to this cleaner based on the reviews, seems they were talking about them taking care of the clothes and providing a good service. Unfortunately I'm now regretting that decision. A few days after picking up my shirts I went to take one and noticed that there was my last name and an R written on the collar with what looked like a pen. At first I thought that it was one of my brother's shirt's because that would match his name and initial too... but after further examination I found out that most of the shirts I took there had the same thing written on them, some on the collar, some on the label, some in the inside of the buttoning area. Another of the shirts had a paper tag stapled to the fabric (great way to damage it). I took my clothes for cleaning/ironing, not to be used as a graffiti wall, so It really annoyed me, specially considering that thirteen of my shirts have now permanent marker tags i never asked for, never was warned about. They have no signs about them writing on your clothes nor they warn you beforehand (I would have never left my clothes there If I knew they were), but they just do without even asking, and some of those shirts were expensive ones. When I took the shirts back to have them remove the ink tags, they told me it was done with a permanent marker and that they use to do it with all their customers. About fifteen minutes after dropping the shirts back to have the marker removed, they called me to say that they would not remove the marker without damaging the shirts, and they offer "not to write on them again and to clean the six that I had used since I took them the first time for free". So "no writing again" meaning that otherwise they will keep writing as they please in my clothes? Thanks but no.... I just took back my shirts and I'm not expecting to take my business there any longer. Why would they write the customer's name in the clothes... what if the person is dropping clothes that are not theirs (like a roommate's or a friend's)? Then the owner will have a shirt tagged with someone else's name just because they are too cheap to use removable tags. read more
