I had been a loyal customer of this appliance store and trusted their guidance when purchasing a new dryer. I was very clear with the salesperson about my household needs--we do a significant amount of laundry, and I needed something that could keep up. I was assured that the model I purchased would have the same functionality as my previous dryer, just without some of the "extra" features. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. From day one, the dryer has not performed properly. Sometimes it stops mid-cycle, and other times it continues running for hours even when the clothes are already dry. I called the very next day after installation to express my concerns, and instead of addressing the mismatch in product recommendation, I was routed through a warranty service process. When the repair technician came out, I was told that this dryer does not have moisture sensors like my previous one--meaning it cannot innately function as my previous dryer did. This is a fundamental difference in functionality and directly contradicts what I was told at the time of purchase. Had I been given accurate information, I would not have chosen this model. Our vent leads through the roof so while this int always ideal it was never an issue with the old dryer. I told the sales associate (Joe) about this when we were shopping. They are now blaming this issue on where the heat vent leads and are glazing over the fact that this dryer does not have the same capability is my last dryer. To make matters worse, I was also informed--for the first time--that I could be charged for the service visit if no issue was found. This was never disclosed to me in advance. The only reason I was not charged is because the brand-new dryer was delivered with a dent, which is unacceptable in itself. I do try to shop local when possible but had I gone to a big box store I would have been able to return the dryer the next day and chosen something more suitable for my family. At this point, I feel completely misled. I relied on the expertise of the sales team, and instead ended up with a product that does not meet my needs and information that was either incomplete or incorrect. This experience has significantly impacted my trust in a store I have purchased from numerous times before. read more

We purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer on 9/25/25 and it was delivered on 9/29. The morning following, there was a puddle of water in our laundry room. A rep, Cliff, from SnowBrothers came out on 10/1 to fix a loose hose and did a great job. Since 10/4, however, the washer will not drain. We have had a drum full of water (with clothes molding inside) since 10/4 (6 days). The outsourced repair team canceled their service call due to illness and we have been placed on a cancellation list. The EARLIEST we will get serviced is Monday, 10/13 UNLESS someone else cancels their service call! This is insane. And Corey and Amy from SnowBrothers indicated the company won't replace the machine until we've had 2 service calls. And we haven't even had ONE! Now, I'm headed to a laundromat after spending $1300 on a washer! Unbelievable. The customer service at SnowBrothers is a notch below a big box store. Think twice before making the leap. We've purchased an oven and dishwasher from SnowBrothers and this negative experience has truly made us reconsider our loyalty. It's a lot of money to spend without the customer service SnowBrothers is supposed to be known for providing its customers. read more

Very disappointed in customer service frm Snow Brothers. We bought a bosch dishwasher and i added the extended warranty through Snow Brothers . Now that it wont drain, I called them to see what to do. Turns out their customer information was bad according to the allied insurance people. Called back 3 Three more times to get help with the records and see if we are covered or not. Each time someone (Linna, Corey) promised faithfully to check it out and call me back. No one has ever called me back. I have given up but you can be sure that after buying multiple appliances from Snow, I will not make that mistake again.. read more

the best part of my experience with Snow Brothers was with the delivery. Andre and Jermaine were very professional. Andre was quick to come to our aid when necessary. two wonderful men. the rest of our experience was not as good. three plus phone calls to our sales person and one email were never returned. we were at the point of cancellation when we finally got some assistance. i prefer shopping at local businesses but I think the sales experience would have been better at Best Buy. read more

Long story short. Snow brothers installed a new stove in a rental unit I own that had a defective valve. The valve leaked about 48 hours after they installed it and almost blew up my rental unit with my tenants still inside. Fortunately my tenants smelled gas and had the fire department come out in the middle of the night to turn off the gas. It then took 2 weeks and a ton of phone calls for Snow Brothers to finally address the issue that they caused and replace the defective stove. I had to pay for meals to my tenants during that time because they had no stove and we needed to keep the gas turned off in their unit. They finally replaced the stove with a new one, but now to add insult to injury they want me to pay over $60.00 extra because the new stove is slightly more expensive than the previous new one. They should be happy I'm not suing them for the 2 weeks I had to pay for my tenants food or because they almost killed them. Instead they keep calling trying to nickel and dime me for their mistake. They used to be a great company to work with - unfortunately I don't think I will ever work with them again. They seem to have forgotten about customer service. read more

We recently purchased a new dishwasher, microwave, stove, and freezer from Snow Brothers. The salesman was very knowledgeable, and helpful. We received the items as promised. They do a great job of providing delivery information so that you know when they're going to arrive. Upon delivery of the items, the dishwasher didn't have the mounting hardware. The stove had problems, and wouldn't operate properly. They dispatched a service technician to check out the stove, and he was unable to determine the problem. I went back to the store and talked to Amy, the store manager. She went out of her way to help me, and immediately provided me the missing hardware to use with our dishwasher. She also contacted GE, and explained all the problems we were having with our stove. Ultimately she was able to provide a replacement for us. Hopefully, this will resolve the difficulties we previously incurred. I can't say enough how great these folks are to deal with, and would recommend anyone looking for appliances to do business with Snow Brothers. William Hartman read more

I called after two weeks to check on our order with two weeks to go for delivery. Salesman told me that we wouldn't get the refrigerator until the first of the year. January! And he had told me delivery would be 11/17! I called and talked to Hubby. Then I left a message with Snow Bros to cancel the order. Hubby went over after work to confirm the refrigerator was cancelled. The salesman did not apologize or try to save the sale. He was very calm. Shady dealings is what we think. The store is huge. They have so many appliances. The sales person was very nice and knowledgeable. I think I heard someone call him Cory. I don't think we caught his name or if he introduced himself. That was not his fault we swarmed him with questions about cooktops. Everyone including this appliance store is so heavily back ordered on most things. Since we are stuck in our homes everyone has noticed there out dated furniture and appliances. Why did we all decide to do it now!? Lol. They have unusual brands of refrigerators that are very tall. They have the Creme de la Creme Sub Zero refrigerators, I can afford it (in my dreams). I like the fact that our sales person was knowledgeable. He seemed to have been training someone as he was being shadowed. The store was full of customers which was great to see. read more

Stay away from Snow Brothers For 30 years my wife and I have purchased appliances from Snow Brothers Appliance in Lyndhurst Ohio. In those years we have also referred many family and friends to also shop there. As recently as 2 years ago my son and his wife bought $10k worth of appliances for the new house they had built. Their delivery guys showed up without a dolly or equipment to bring them into the house. Then when they called their salesman he had the nerve to yell at them because they lived on a gravel road. I should have learned from their experience but I didn't. So recently in September 2024 my wife and I bought a new GE garage freezer. But my story begins 3 years ago when my wife and I purchased a new GE microwave, electric oven and a large refrigerator that had a price of $2999 for the refrigerator alone. The refrigerator was delivered by two guys who had no clue what they were doing. They forced the refrigerator through my front door ripping out the power chord and also ruining the circuit board it was attached too. After several weeks Snow Brothers finally had it fixed. And it has worked for the last 3 years other then having a strange sound over that period of time. Well that strange sound was a cracked condensor fan. In September 2024 that fan fell apart and the water dispenser and ice maker also stopped working. As well as the outside panels heating to an untouchable surface because of the heat. Two different appliance repair men said it was unfixable because it must have also been dropped when delivered because the bottom frame was crushed which caused the issues with the fan. One of them had us put a portable fan behind the unit to act like a condensor fan. We have been living with the refrigerator in the middle of our kitchen for the last 3 months with the fan behind it to prevent a fire from starting. In those 3 months I have been dealing with Corey Kirby at Snow Brothers who has been giving me the run around the whole time saying dont worry Snow Brothers will take care of it. I learned his idea of fixing the problem was to try and get Epic who they sold me a warranty for, and GE who made the product pay for it. Neither were really responsible for the issue since it was caused by Snow Brothers employees. Well I talked to both those companies numerous times and learned of everything that was and was not taking place from the stories Corey kept feeding me. Coreys idea of fixing the problem was to give me $800 that GE had offered though they were not responsible for anything that happened. Snow Brothers was not even willing to help me by offering anything off on a new refrigerator. After Corey jerking me around for these last 3 months I gave up on Snow Brothers who was at one time a really good company. I talked to GE once again and made a deal with them myself. I will never purchase anything from Snow Brothers again. I guess with the way society is today it is no surprise that this company has gone right down the toilet like society itself. I tried to state everything in a nice way but I hope you can read between my statements how I really feel. read more

These guys are good at what they do! Came in and made it a smooth move. Tee and Keith were very friendly and professional. They came in and made a plan really quick for the moving process. They took the doors off to get the fridge out/in and replaced them properly. There was a tiny hiccup, but they fixed it immediately. Props for the quick fix and all around good work. Thanks boys ! EDIT: it would have been nice if they removed the protective coating before installing the handles. I had to take them off to get the plastic off Just recognized that they also knocked a sensor for my security system off and threw it away as garbage when removing the doors to get the fridge inside. I would give less than one star for Snow Bros. if it was possible. I wanted a white in wall microwave to replace the one I had that had stopped working after many years. I turned to Snow Bros. based on their good reputation. I bought a microwave and trim kit. It was supposed to be white as I had explained to the salesman. They delivered a stainless steel and refused to exchange the same model for a white one that was actually available. They have a memory problem apparently because all I heard was "you never said white" and the things they said to me "I don't remember saying that" and on and on. One person after another gave me the brush off and just continued to pass the buck to someone else at Snow Bros. until I had no recourse and no reasonable person to deal with at Snow Bros. It's disgraceful and they should be ashamed of their inflexibility especially to a disabled senior citizen. They are truly heartless and unreasonable. I tried offering a compromise and they just froze me out. Wouldn't even talk about it. I can't believe they did this to me. I don't recommend Snow Bros. based on my horrible experience with them. read more

Sales rep Chad was very patient and helpful and we gave a $500 deposit on a dish washer. When we got home we checked the internet for reviews and background on the Aska brand and learned that Chad misrepresented the manufacturer and quality issues that we were told. We immediately called and cancelled the order and were told they would put a credit through. Yet, 5 days later the $500 deposit is still showing up on my VISA card. Snow Bros. is not responding. In addition, we were told the Bosch dish washer we actually wanted was in short supply and couldn't get one for months. We found that several retailers (Myers Appliance and Best Buy to name two) had them in stock! Snow Bros. is a waste of time and we'll never return there. read more

We bought a dryer 3 years ago. We went back in to order a washer to match. We said our dryer was having some issues and our salesperson said it should not be. It has a 5 year warranty on it. You just need to call to get it repaired under warranty. I called the repair shop and they said it was out of warranty. I called Snow Brothers and had to leave a message on the machine. It says that someone would return the call by end of day. No call. I had to call back the next day and leave another message. They did call me back the 2nd day. Long story short, Snow Brothers kept giving us the run around and my sales person even went as far as saying he didn't re-print a receipt for my dryer that I bought 3 years ago, but it says reprint on it and he wrote the phone # for the repair shop on the receipt. We have referred multiple people to go there, but not again. We had them cancel our order and we will buy somewhere else. read more

I purchased a dryer on August 3, 2023. The delivery came on August 21. Had I gone to a big box store, it would have only taken a week. I wanted to patronize a small business because I thought the service would be better and customized. The two delivery men were waiting in the truck in front of my house for 15 minutes before they got out. The older one, Jermaine, came to my side door and immediately said that that door would have to be removed before he could bring the dryer in with his partner. I told him I have had many washers and dryers moved in and out without any damage or problems and they are all the same width, 27 in. I had the salesman measure it and I looked online at this model and the measurement was 27 in wide. On August 1, I had a washer moved in that was also 27 in without any kind of problem and with space to spare at the doorways. Jermaine refused to listen to my objections after I told him the door could absolutely NOT be taken off the hinges. There was absolutely no need to take it off either. He said to me "Are you trying to tell me how to do my job? I've been doing this for years and I can get the door off." He proceeded to remove one pin. I TOLD HIM TO STOP FIVE TIMES. The house and the door belong to me and I didn't want him to damage anything. When he couldn't get the second pin out, he finally stopped and put the first pin back in to the hinge. He was very embarrassed because I was correct. He saw a 5 ft 3 in stupid female senior citizen who he thought he could domineer. I happen to be a highly educated professional with three degrees and two specialty certificates from CWRU and U of M. I have been in practice for 35 years. Everyone respects me and listens to what I have to say - - except Jermaine, who knows so much better and who knows so much more! He incorrectly measured the doorway, when the door was not fully opened. He refused to bring the dryer into my basement. The dryer belonged to me. I paid for it and it is my property. I wanted it left in the driveway. I had three men working on the other side of the house on my gutter and I know they would have carried it into the basement. He pretended to call Snow Brothers and then strapped my dryer onto the dolly. I needed the dryer, as I was tired of going to the laundromat and wasting 2 hours every time I needed to dry clothes. I stood in front of the dryer and attempted to get it off the dolly. He pushed me around and something sharp on the dolly or the back of the dryer punctured my right leg and ripped the skin. My left leg was also scratched. Even after I was injured and in pain, I tried to reclaim my dryer, but he rammed the 100 pound dryer into me and pushed me aside. I would have signed a release. He has no problem solving skills or people skills. I called Snow Brothers and they said they would get back to me which they never did. After they took the dryer away, I drove out to Snow Brothers to report this incident. They believed whatever fairy tale he spun, as well as falsely claiming the dryer was too big to bring into the house. I wanted to resolve this matter. They offered me NO apology or first aid while I was standing there bleeding. They showed no concern for me, treated me very coldly and REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ASSAULT. All they wanted to do was offer me a refund for my purchase price, which I refused to accept. This is the kind of customer service I received from the office employee, as well as being disrespected, domineered and assaulted by the moronic delivery man. I'm filing a police report. Took about a week to get a technician out, another week to get the parts that were missing from the unit....still waiting on the parts. Why are they selling units that have missing parts? Owner Bill is disrespectful, called this a "first world problem", and mocked us for even being upset about the experience with them. Explained that we just need to go through the process because Snow Brothers did not make the machine. Wouldn't give clear path to either getting a new machine or fixing this one. Again, brand new machine. Honestly? Chastising a customer and shaming them for complaining when an ice machine is a first world luxury? The motto in the store you'll hear from everyone you talk to is, the machines are made by humans and humans make mistakes. They follow it up with we'll find a way to make it right that's why we've been in business 100yrs....we can't tell you how but we'll cross that bridge when we get there, it just may take three months and an insurance claim or manufacturing warranty submission. Honestly, go through ANY OTHER business but Snow Bros, or be prepared to receive some factory second unit that breaks and pay a premium for it. I purchased a washer from them about 6 months ago. 6 weeks ago I called them because my clothes were wrapping around the agitator. They said they would call for repair. Waiting three days I called again because I had heard nothing. They called GE repair service. GE came out and said nothing wrong, I must be loading wrong and left. Next load the same thing happened. I called snow brothers again and they called GE to come back. Same guy he replaced the electronic board and said it was fixed. He had no time to wait for a load to go through the cycle. Never buy anything from here. They lie, they don't stand by their products. I ordered 4 high-end, expensive appliances. When the last one arrived (an oven), it wouldn't work after they plugged it in. I asked that they put it back on the truck & return it. They refused - said it was just a broken latch & they'd send a repairman. It was not! And they refused to take it back. Sent another repairman & he couldn't fix it. They lied to me & said it was the manufacturers policy to not return it. I called the manufacturer & they said not true. We have a refrigerator! We had a model on order that was supposed to be delivered in December. But our aging fridge gave up the ghost on 11/17. I went to Snow Bros to see what could be done. They arranged a loaner to get me through Thanksgiving, small but helpful. I headed home relieved that I had a solution. I got a call from Jeff, who was making the arrangements, saying that the warehouse had just received a shipment. If I was willing to take a slightly smaller fridge, I could cancel the order in place and they had a delivery time available TODAY. I have just packed my new model and am a happy camper. I can't imagine a big box store taking the time and effort Snow Bros did. I am a happy--and continuing--customer. read more

I have used Snow Brothers before and I do prefer to shop local. Mike was extremely knowledgable and helped me pick a new washer. When they delivered it, they failed to hook up the drain so the first load I did flooded my laundry room and then leaked through the floor to my basement. They came back and attached the drain. BUT I spent my Saturday mopping up with towels and then had to wash three loads of towels. It ruined six of my ceiling tiles. I went to Home Depot and bought new ones which I installed. I submitted my receipt for reimbursement. During an approx two week period, no one from Snow bother to contact me to apologize or remedy the situation. If you call the store, it's impossible to get a person on the phone. What a disgrace! read more

I had gone to Interstate because they are closer. I was looking around at that point and was given a quote. I specifically asked about promotions since I was buying higher end appliances and there didn't seem to be much price differences among retailers. Interstate told me there were no promotions. After I do more research, I find that there is a promotion. A free drawer microwave in my case. That amounts to about $1400 that I would have spent. I was upset so I went to Snow Bros because they are locally owned and liked their delivery policy better. Jeff introduced himself as we came in the door and we explained our situation. He seemed to know the product line well as I didn't even have to tell him the model numbers. He even suggested other offerings to be complete. In any case, he offered us a price that was well below Interstate and they knew about the promotion so that wasn't even a question. We wanted professional installation for the range since it was nearly 500lb but even with that cost, Snow Brothers' quote was great and the whole process was easy. We also had some time to check out their showroom. Very, very nice. Their showroom is unassuming from the outside but very roomy and well-appointed on the inside. read more

Snow Bros and Amy Lang made a rushed purchase of a new washer and dryer very easy! This was a purchase that we had planned but then the dryer suddenly died and we had to bump up our plan. We chose the Maytag Commercial series because we have 3 kids and 2 dogs and we do laundry everyday. If we don't do laundry everyday, we have very large piles of laundry that quickly pile up. The Maytag Commercial series could fit all our small and big piles. Scott & Ray were patient and professional. They gave me plenty of time to do a deep clean once our old appliances were moved out. They respected our home by being careful around door jams and wood framing. I have already completed 3 loads of laundry and the dryer is super efficient!! read more

Stay far away from this store for appliances. I bought 8 appliances and you would think the store would offer good customer service. You have to call and check on order, they do not let you know they are all in. You have to call for information on installs...they let you know what is being installed but that does not happen either. The delivery people just want to leave items in the garage if they are lucky to deliver when scheduled. Once they finally get them in your new home they do not care if they hit halls etc. They leave most still in the boxes and do not put handles on the appliances. Sneak out while your not around to finish installs. Rude delivery people and LAZY!!!! Love the stories when they say you told us to just leave them....Get REAL!! Buyer beware with Snow Brothers Appliance. I have purchased multiple appliances and accessories over the years. Just replaced my KitchenAid wall oven with the new model. Spec sheets side by side say the measurements are the exact same. Unbeknownst to me the handle is different. When installed one of my kitchen drawers will no longer open. Ebel Installations has been amazingly helpful, respectful, and has been trying to help me. The store manager at Snow Brothers told me it's my fault and they are not willing to do anything for me. They represent KitchenAid and at the very least should have been willing to go to bat for me with them. At the best they should have helped me get an oven that works. All they did was point the finger at me the customer. When you are making large appliance purchases you want to buy from someone whom you can trust and has your best interest as the customer. Horrible way to do business. I hope if anyone reads this they will take their business elsewhere I know I will. read more

Pricing is usually comparable to the large chains but they also offer free delivery options and the ability to tailor items to your need. We even listened to a salesperson giving advice to another customer, and I even asked him a question, but when he was done with that customer he immediately went to another couple who had just walked into the store. He was really knowledgeable and personable and made the process quite easy. Delivery was on the date specified. Two gentlemen delivered the new refrigerator and took the old one away. Tee and Cliff are also professional, knowledgeable, courteous and clean. It looks like we have found a new appliance store! This is a great appliance store, and they have really fantastic prices. I am new to Ohio and found this store through a web search, and I'm so glad I did. Their prices were as good as Costco, but with a huge selection. A very friendly sales person helped me with my purchases. Also, they will take away my old washers and dryers for free. Lowe's and other stores now charge a fee which I think is $35 per item to take them away. They have an amazing kitchen section with fully set up kitchens. I don't need any of that right now, but when I do, I'm going to Snow Bros. Highly recommended! read more

Let me start by saying, the single star is only because I had to give a star to leave a review. I bought a double oven from here back in 2015 and had a great experience. Fast forward to July 2021, I purchased a floor model beverage fridge, which had a sliding shelf that didn't properly close. Not a huge deal, my sales experience was pleasant (I worked with Jeff Stewart). I left the fridge there for repairs which were supposed to take 1-2 weeks. I followed up once in that timeframe and was told it would be ready August 17th. I got a call from Jeff on the 18th and he said the repairman brought out a wrong part and they would call me when it was ready for pickup. Fast forward two weeks, I still hadn't heard anything so I called to check the status. The first person I spoke with said they didn't know anything and would have Jeff call me. A few days went by, and no word from Jeff. I called back and spoke with a woman who was very nice, said she would find out what the status was and call me back. CRICKETS. A few more days pass and I decided to show up at the store to get some answers. The store is fairly empty as it was 10am on a weekday morning. First off, all the sales guys sitting behind the desk were completely ignoring me when I asked what the status was. Eventually, I am told they don't have a date on when the part will be available. At this point, I walk over to where my fridge is and notice there are fingerprints and discoloration all over the stainless steel. Clearly, as it was left on the floor for the public, it had been touched many times. I asked to speak with a manager, which is where things really took a turn. Amy (who has other bad reviews on here) was a NIGHTMARE. Customer service is definitely not her strong suit and quite frankly, she has no business dealing with the public. Her social skills are sub-par at best. I'll keep this more on the professional side, but let's just say my frustrations with the way she treated me left me in tears. I was in shock that the manager of a store that relies on customers like myself would ever speak to someone that way. Long story short, she threatened to cancel my order and refund me. I had a custom kitchen built to the specifications of this fridge so I quickly gathered myself, and paid another $647 to take a different model off the floor that didn't have imperfections or need repairs just to never have to deal with these people again. I decided to call Bill Kent, the owner of the store, that evening. To my dismay, he was worse than Amy. The most unprofessional business owner I have ever dealt with. He called me a liar many times during our very brief conversation, even when I told him that my sister had ordered appliances from him and that his salesperson forgot to put the order in and that she had just gotten an email from him stating that. He said his salespeople are the best and would never make such a mistake. I offered to send him the email (see in pics) and he again called me a liar. So Bill, here it is! If you are looking for an AMAZING, small business to buy appliances from, please go down the street to Bloom Brothers. The nicest people and a pleasure to do business with. read more

This is the second time we have used Snow for appliances. They are local and their sales people, who are knowledgeable, are not on commission. Their delivery people are fast, efficient and really nice. Could not be happier. read more

Waited almost two months for our refigerator and found out it was not even order! They stated that they found one in their warehouse. It not even close to the one I wanted. It is cheap, ugly and I hate it! So now I am stuck with this thing because our old refigerator was on it last legs. Do not buy anything from these guys!!! read more
