Love Love Love this place. From a place that just started as a small cart that was in the corner, they definitely came up. I though the prices were pretty expensive but when we received what we ordered, the size was like 2 sizes larger. The shaved ice is super smooth and I love how you can add your own toppings on it. Finally decided to come here after my gf keeps asking to try this place out. We thought it was a good way to cool us down on a hot day. I ordered 2 Halo Halo special and 1 snow ice. Regretful to say that the halo halo did not sit well on my stomach. Just 30 minutes after finishing it I had the runs. First I thought it was just me but then my dad also had the same symptoms. It's no coincidence. Of all the places I had halo halo (and I have plenty) this is the first place that made me ill. Definitely will not EVER order halo halo from here again. However the snow ice was great. I would come here for snow ice and would definitely it, but steer clear from the halo halo. read more

This place is overrated. Its spacious but its connected to the market and bakery next door. It smells like fish inside and the menu is kind of confusing. They have these little pamphlets that explain how to order. They have some drinks like Milk tea and ice cream but their specialty is the shaved ice. They have different flavors and you can have toppings depending on the size. The mini is $4, Medium $7 and Large $10. These are overpriced for what you get. Not sure if will come back. read more

Just went here on a Saturday night at 630pm. And guess what? NO BOBA!!! Last I checked, boba was one of their main specialties. first time at snoice. the banner could be more vibrant so that it will attract customers. parking lot space was great! the menu was simple and easy to understand. today, we ordered their original halo halo. it was good but the toasted rice was too over powering (next time we'll order without it) . at the end of our visit we noticed that the menu prices were at an odd place. it should but up with the menu choices rather than the side of the wall because customers can easily block it and hinder other customers view of seeing it. read more

It was a warm day in San Diego, so we decided to have some delicious Halo-Halo. It was decided that we would try out Snoice. There were no lines, but I really didn't like the fact that the restaurant doesn't have any air conditioning. They had a real huge fan by the door that blew air towards the small seating area. The menu was clean looking and simple. The counter area and preparation area appeared clean. We placed our order and then BOOM! They ran out of UBE ICE CREAM? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I almost wanted to pack it up and leave, but we were stuck. We placed our order for Halo Halo with mango ice cream. So we get our orders in a timely manner and leave. Picture this, Halo Halo in one of those plastic bubble dome top cups filled to the top with ice cream. Well, while we were driving, the ice cream was oozing out of the lid and on to our legs and eventually the car seat! I understand that it was probably a defective cup which is why I didn't downgrade my rating. One important note is about the ice in the halo halo. For some reason, the textures wasn't good enough. It melted really fast. I'm giving the place 3 stars (A-OK) because I don't see myself coming back for halo halo. I do frequent its other business located in the restaurant. Really cozy little place, in the same building as the next door bakery shop. Make sure to take advantage of the Yelp coupon for one free topping. We got the mango snow with mangoes and bananas, and halo halo. The halo halo is really good! The taste is definitely different and it's more shaved ice than snow. I had the mango snoice with lychee & strawberry gel toppings. It was awesome! The flavor was very natural, not to sweet. The snoice is very light and refreshing. The presentation is also very nice. I can't wait to go back and try another flavor. One of daughters had the child's scoop of ice cream with topping, it was a perfect size for her. My other daughter had the strawberry boba tea, it was good. I would have given this place 5 stars but today was extremely hot inside and out. Amazing halo halo and shaved ice, not to mention excellent customer service. perfect amount of flavor, sweetness and texture for their shaved ice. my wife, mom and dad loved the halo halo and the way you can customize what you want in it. I've never been a fan of halo halo before because it was always too sweet and overfilled with unwanted toppings. But since I've had Snoice, I've literally been getting their halo halo at least once every two weeks. I love how you can customize it. Also, the place is clean and staff is friendly! After introducing it to her, one of my friends who also was not a big fan of the dessert now regularly goes there as well, along with all of her family members that she's introduced it to. I wish I knew about their catering services before booking my wedding vendors, that would've been such a nice treat to have on our big day. read more

Snoice is one of my favourite places to treat myself. I've been there many times before and their service never fails to make me happy. Their staff is incrediblely nice, and make you feel at home. If I ever need to change your drink or make adjustments, they have no problem doing so. Their shaved snow and ice cream is a tasty treat to have on a hot day. Their shaved snow in 3 different favors (think shaved ice but smoother, almost creamy) was offered with a variety of custom toppings each guest could choose from like fresh berries, pocky sticks, mochi and more. Service was ok. I don't understand the hype. I was excited to learn they served Okinawa milk tea since no one in San Diego as far as I know seems to have mastered it. But it was nothing like I expected so I'm disappointed. It has no real tea taste to it and I don't even taste the brown sugar. More like non dairy creamer, a splash of tea, and regular sugar, IMO. But don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the business. I'm sure there are other better selling items. But I'm just disappointed I set my expectations high with Okinawa milk tea. read more

We hired them to do the boba teas for my daughters party last night, even though they were an hour late to deliver it but there was a valid reason, it was worth the wait. The boba was freshly made, still warm and the teas were so good. We ordered Taro, mango & Okinawa milk teas and My entire guests loved it . The person delivered the teas was very nice , and accommodating and explained it well to us how to serve it. They supplied us too more than enough of straws, cups and lids. read more
