    My 1 year old getting bus first cut!

    My now 3.5 year old is notorious for agreeing to get his hair cut until it's actually his turn and he has to actually do it. At this point he refuses to get it cut. And when we manage to bribe him into getting the cut, it's always a rush job, because we never know when he's going to be done with sitting still. This place managed to get it right. They have DVDs!! A selection to choose from! My son actually sat in the shiny red car and watched Thomas and friends and the stylist was able to leisurely cut his hair right. I recently took my 1 year old son for his first cut. We had no issues! He sat in the police car and played with the steering wheel the entire time! We got a certificate with his first lock of hair cut off. They cut the hair off dry so there was no mold to speak of. We are definitely repeat customers!

    Fantastic haircuts for all 3 of my boys. Sara and her staff never disappoints and always takes their time to do it right.

    Way overpriced and they don't ask for how you want your kids haircut they made decision for us. Never avain

She gave me exactly what I wanted, quickly and easily and to make the experience even more wonderful was the impressive array of skincare, hair care, teas and tinctures that she has carefully developed and crafted with years of experience and talent. Her skin serum is nothing short of a miracle and has balanced and smoothed my very problematic skin to the point that my sister thought she didn't have her glasses on when looking at me! I called and April was able to take me at 4, for a single process balayage! I was so impressed and thankful for that. When I got there I was greeted by the receptionist (I don't remember her name but she was fabulous too, she did a great job curling my hair)! April did an amazing job on my hair, and even fixed my bangs that I decided to cut myself that morning! I would recommend this salon to anyone! It's so cute and homey inside too! Last year I was a new client and got my hair done throughout 9 months. Staff was always nice and so were the owners. Nikki ended up being my stylist. I loved her work. I've always felt that quality hair is one of those things that is worth the money. I thought we never had a problem.. I know I didn't on my end. I was encouraged to wait for my hair to get stronger and healthier to continue lightening and called this spring to get on the books. I left a message with staff for a call back, didn't get one. Didn't think anything of it. Called the next day. No callback. That's when I started think maybe something was up. I was so confused. I tried thinking back to what I could have done ... I'm like, did I miss an appointment? I combed through my calendar and emails and saw I didn't miss any appointments. I've never no showed, cancelled or been late.. Then I went thru my Venmo and saw that I forgot to tip her at my last appointment! That sucks! I would never do that intentionally! I am a firm believer in tipping. Can't believe I'm only realizing 7 months later. She did know at the time I had a medical emergency that summer. I had a lot going on with Drs appointments and scans for the next few months afterwards it was just hectic on my end. So I just genuinely forgot. Not being from the east coast I am still not used to having to tip separately on an app and that's my bad. But even if that wasn't the case... it could happen to anyone innocently.. leaving the salon running errands etc and forgetting by the time you are home. I would have loved to have a conversation back in September and I would have sent it over instantly and been so thankful for the reminder. Typically owners/managers inform a client properly if there is a reason to not want to work with them anymore. I am not sure why this was the approach you chose? It's not only not professional but it's not kind. You know how hard it is to start all over when you've already invested time and money with a stylist and salon, why not be sure what they did was intentional first? And if it wasn't the tip, then doesn't anyone deserve to be given an opportunity to make it right or be informed? Once I realized they didn't want me to schedule, I called to get the details of my Appts and what color was used so I could start finding somewhere else to go... When I asked for the color last used she said, "we don't give that out to clients". Salons post color shade codes all the time on their socials I've never heard of that being hidden. It was just a shame, to not only not return my calls but you can't at least give me helpful information to go somewhere else? Just very unfortunate way to handle things. I've recommended this salon to my friends too. I normally don't leave negative reviews but this is just exactly what happened and what I would've told you directly if you had called me. I really hope in the future you give your clients the benefit of the doubt but most of all just be willing to converse before going this route. -Vanessa M

    I opted to try this salon for my first ouidad haircut, since I am on a curly hair journey. I booked…read moreonline which was easy and it listed a price range, and of course ended up being charged the highest rate possible for my cut later. Though I did like my haircut, it wasn't good enough to go back. The interior is beautiful and I was greeted kindly and offered tea. I did drink some of the tea once it finally cooled but the rest of the experience was not so relaxing and I ended up leaving with half my cup still full. Because we had to diffuse my hair, I ended up spending a lot of time uncomfortably draping my body low on the chair, as told to do by my stylist. I wish they had a recliner or a better way to diffuse my hair - it was incredibly uncomfortable. For such a high end salon, I feel like there needs to be a better way! Vibe seems very cold and I did not feel good upon leaving. I was sold up on some curl shampoo, conditioner, and post shower leave in - and felt I couldn't refuse. I started to take a photo of the label so I could buy it separately later, and the stylist said "Well where else are you going to buy it? No one else carries it". I bought them since she had talked them up the whole appointment and the pressure was high. Turns out they haven't worked very well for me, despite being told I needed to use something better to get rid of all the "buildup" I had on my hair from my other shampoo/conditioner. I followed every instruction given by my stylist but using LESS product actually has been the best thing I could do. She gave me a hug when I was leaving - trying to mend the blow of a $250+ purchase I guess. I also was pushed to make a maintenance appointment for 3 months later, which would be about now. I declined. I wanted to see how my hair grew in - since I don't get my hair cut very often. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable coming back, it was much too expensive for the experience I had. TLDR: posh, pushy, and expensive About $160 for curly wash and cut, diffused $35 x 3 products, $265 total Not for me!
