Fast drinks and just as fast food. We got the cubano diablo w/ Mac salad as the side, potstickers, and coconut shrimp. The Cuban was everything I was craving. Soo delicious! Pasta salad tasted like pasta salad, again, not complaining. Shrimp was my next favorite, the pineapple sauce and edamame hummus was the perfect combo. Potstickers were ok, I would eat them again but probably wouldn't order them myself. I do love the cabbage under both apps. Will be back!

You can dine in at a few booths within the restaurant, or you can pick up/order take-out at the bar. We did take out for my family and we tried the Big Kahuna bowl with shrimp (which my husband couldn't say enough good things about), the Surf City Philly (had a great ghost pepper cheese that had just a perfect amount of spice) with a side of the macaroni salad, and we bought the Homemade Mac and Cheese from the Keiki (kid) menu which my son loved! There were so many things on the menu that we would love to try, so we will definitely be back!!!

I'd classify them as a casual lunch restaurant, although they are open for dinner as well. The menu is pretty small, which is okay; it consists of salad/bowl options, pizzas, and sandwiches. I've had a couple of their salads and while the ingredients were fresh, they were lacking flavor. The chopped salad needed more dressing, and in adding shrimp (for an extra $9), I was surprised to see only 3 pieces. The farrow bowl was a bit better with additional ingredients. Maybe their pizzas and sandwiches are more filling / fulfilling. Overall though, I'm not sure when and if we'll be back given the many other restaurant options that have come up around the same area.

I also chose the jalapeño jelly for a little kick, and it was amazing! It put me right in the mood for Thanksgiving. My oldest son had the burger melt and devoured it in two minutes flat! He paired it with a chicken Caesar salad, loved both, and is already asking to go back. My youngest had the pizza melt, loaded with plenty of pepperoni and cheese, with fries on the side. The sauces deserve their own shout-out! We loved the burger sauce, fry sauce, jalapeño jelly, and ranch. Everyone was so friendly, the customer service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming. Finding a place that all three of us enjoy this much is a win. You definitely have to give Melty a try--we'll be back!

That sweet and savory flavor was fantastic . I also really liked the fact that they used fresh jalapeños in the sandwich rather than pickled. Fries were perfectly seasoned with a crunchy outside and soft center. Add in all the toppings to their loaded fries and it was poppin'! We will definitely be back to try out more sandwiches!!

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! There was no smile, greeting, or sense that we were happy to be there. Our server was very nice personally, but the service was incredibly disorganized. What made it even more frustrating was that she only had two tables, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband's meal never came out, and she did not even notice that he was still waiting for it. While we were waiting for his food, she brought us a drink we had never ordered. She also filled my kids' lemonades with water. The food was just as disappointing. The salmon was extremely dry and hard, and the pasta noodles my kids ordered were hard as well. After waiting and realizing my husband's meal was never coming, we asked for the bill. At that point, our server actually asked if my husband was ready to order... even though he had already ordered and had been waiting for his meal the entire time. Our bill ended up being high, which made the experience even more frustrating because we spent that much money and left feeling like we received essentially nothing worth coming back for. We all left hungry. Mistakes happen, but this was not one small mistake. It was a series of issues with the service, drinks, food, and basic attentiveness, especially considering the restaurant was not busy. For the amount we paid, we expected a completely different experience. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Someone stopped by our business trying to…read moresell us on a service we absolutely did not need, but he happened to bring along a box of cookies from Rise Up Bakery. Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

I stopped here on my way out to golf in Gold Canyon for a quick sandwich. It was around 65 degrees outside but inside the store was even colder...I was shivering the whole time there...they must not have any heater. After reviewing the menu quickly (about 15 seconds), when I approached the cashier he asked 'Are you ready now?'. I found this pretty insulting as I was looking at the menu briefly with nobody behind me inline. What happened to 'How may I serve you today?' or at least a semi-friendly greeting? I ordered a Torpedo sub and got a water cup as they had a Pepsi machine (I much prefer Coke products) and no fresh-brewed Iced Tea (only Brisk out of the Pepsi machine). The sub came out quickly. I forgot to take a picture but it looked like a bread-only sandwich with a few lettuce strips hanging out. You could not see the meat or cheese without lifting off the bun. I'd say they are quite frugal with the meat, cheese and vegetables. However, the sandwich bread was excellent and the sub had good taste. Overall, the experiences was average to slightly sub-par. There's a lot of sandwich options around and I don't see myself coming back to this location any time soon.

The burger was delicious, the Philly cheesesteak was fantastic, and the fries deserve their own shout-out. They're cooked in beef tallow, and the crisp on them was absolutely perfect. The onion rings were also delicious! They had an amazing beer special while we were there, buy one, get one for $1, which I believe may have been a Labor Day special, so definitely check before you go. But we were more than happy to take advantage of it! One thing I really loved was seeing the chef come out and make his way around the restaurant to say hello and check in with everyone.
