Turkey and Swiss sandwich on white bread
    Bryana C.

Snarf's has always been my favorite sandwich shop in Austin and was so glad this one opened up near us! The bread is always fresh, soft on the inside and crispy outside and the sandwiches are always great. Snarf's has never failed me! From being our pre and post snowboarding meal, my fav lunch during work, my fav dinner, I'll never say no to going. Also happy to say service has always been a 10/10 at all locations, including this one. Thank you to the workers for creating great food and giving the best service!! -your fav customer

Stopped by Snarf's for the Yelp Elite event and it was quite busy around 4pm- I was met with the friendliest person behind the counter, she was so helpful to provide her recommendations and personal favorites. She explained the options well and had the nicest demeanor. I ultimately chose the Italian sub which comes with mortadella, salami, pepperoni, capicola, and provolone cheese. There's also different toppings you can choose to add to customize the sub. You can choose from white or wheat bread (or even gluten free). I really enjoyed the sandwich and loved the taste of the meats and veggies. I felt like they used high quality ingredients and I like to come back to try more!

Vegetarian Sandwich (Avocado, Sprouts & Provolone)

Though I know there are several locations, this was my first visit to Snarf's. The facility was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and efficient. One standout feature is the bread they use for their sandwiches -- it's truly spectacular. The rolls are perfectly toasted, giving them a satisfying crisp (even when the sandwich itself isn't served hot) which I found to be a great touch. I tried the Vegetarian Sandwich (Avocado, Sprouts & Provolone), and while the ingredients were fresh, the overall flavor fell a bit flat for me. They offer a range of standard toppings (Mayo, Mustard, Hot Peppers, Onion, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Seasoning and Oil,) but I found myself wishing for a few more options to help elevate the flavor profile. It wasn't bad, just a little on the bland side. That said, the bread alone might bring me back to explore more of the menu, and with their great service and clean environment, I'd say Snarf's is still worth a visit!

Way too slow. Too expensive. I do not recommend I've been waiting 20 min on 2 simple sandwiches.

I'm still leaving a five star review bc the food is delicious and healthy, but I wanted to give the feedback that I'm disappointed with a couple of changes they have made. They used to have beets as an option for the salad, which I used to get added on every time. It was part of what helped me choose to come in here to eat healthy. I'm also disappointed with their "healthy fats" selection. They used to have almonds and I believe also walnuts for a while. They now have taken away all nuts except for praline covered nuts. Which is too sweet for me. They do still have sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds as an option. And also avocado for extra money, but I was very disappointed today with my purchase bc of not having beets as an option or any nuts to add to my salad. REALLY hope they decide to bring those back.

However, I must say that MAD Greens makes some MAD GOOD salads. My go to is the spicy bacon bowl with boil eggs. I feel better about my life when I order this because I'm getting my greens in, getting my protein with the chicken, and I'm actually enjoying my rabbit food (aka salad). This is a must have for me. Coming from a non salad person ( I know... it's okay to judge me) I really enjoy their salads and their spicy bacon bowl makes me happy. Another food item that I love is their Mac and cheese. It's so tasty. I love it here and love their salads because the greens taste fresh. #madgoodness

Always the most in-season veggies, freshly made salad dressings and it was just all the things I LOVE and really miss being so land locked here in Central Texas. 8/10. Service- the culture vibes are here. Friendly, helpful, efficient 8/10 Restaurant-fun, clean, quirky as I remember it.. cows hanging on the ceiling. 9/10 Food- I had the Crispy Rice Salad with tofu. -And a large side of the couscous (I LOVE that couscous... its creamy, light, the texture is fun and its super as a side or adds a boost to any salad or sandwich). -the salad greens crisp, rice was an amazing crunch. -dressing was soo good! Umami yet bright and light -all the extra veggies at the peak of season. Just chefs kiss! Ps: LOVE how the dressing has its own "home" in the to-go container. -points taken off for the tofu.. it was SUPER salty. Not sure if that is always the way or it was just a bit heavy handed today. It was not edible (bummer). The salad and the large couscous lasted me 4 meals. They pack a LOT of salad in that to go container. Is it worth for "just a salad or sandwich" here. YES! You will realize how GREAT good high sourced veggies taste when you eat here. Im so glad there is a piece of Cali here in Austin! I haven't had this level of greens in over 3 yrs since moving to ATX. There were so many to choose from it was difficult to decide. Will definitely be back to try some of the other options!

I…read moredidn't realize just how many salads they offer, but I really appreciated that tofu is available as a protein option. What especially caught my attention--perfect for a cool winter evening in Texas--was their mushroom stew with a vegan miso base. We ordered cups of the vegan mushroom stew to start, along with one of the seasonal specials, the yam string fries, and a shared plate of grilled tofu. The mushroom stew was very umami-forward, filled with miso broth and a variety of mushrooms. While it was comforting, it felt like it needed a bit more seasoning--either spice or salt--to really elevate it. I was also expecting something thicker or creamier since it was labeled a "stew," but the base was quite runny and brothy with steamed mushrooms. The grilled tofu was decent, with a nice color on the outside, though it was soft and could have used more flavor. The yam string fries were almost comically thin--extremely shoestring. Dipping them into sauce was a challenge because they were so tiny, but it was still fun to eat them while chatting. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The dining area is comfy and cozy, and the colorful wall décor adds a lot of character. It's a welcoming, relaxed space right on Congress. Overall, Vinaigrette is a cozy Austin spot with casual yet slightly upscale vibes, offering healthy salad, soup, and sandwich options. If that's what you're looking for, it's definitely worth a visit.

Sat inside. Has a very modern, clean, well laid out, upscale diner feel, with comfortable booth seating (and an outdoor area too that was spacious, but not appealing to me on a reasonably warm, somewhat humid day). Let me get right to it. Everything I ate was A++. The five of us shared a pancake, which was extremely fluffy and tasty, with melted butter. I did not have the French toast, which looked inviting, but a sugar overload. I also did not try the homemade pop tart that everyone said was very good. My latte with whole milk, served hot, was delicious. I went simple -- had two eggs, with bacon, potatoes, and toast. This was a memorable breakfast with ordinary ingredients that was prepared in an exceptional manner and perfectly seasoned. There's not much more that I can say, other than when you can make the ordinary taste special you're doing something extremely right! Our primary server, see photo, was delightful and efficient. Fellow that brought the food was also friendly. Presentation was excellent, even though fairly simple. Prices were extremely fair for the quality of the food in my opinion. The staff were all attentive and nice; the table decor was obviously DIY crafted but it was still cute and creative! The flavor was severely lacking in all of our entrees. The portions were also really small, like, almost Lunchables-sized. My friend ordered Kiki's cake and it was pretty dry. There was not a non-chocolate option, as someone who hates it, which was fine. I was going to give my friend the other dessert but they were able to sub it for a pastry from the counter. The drinks, however, were very well done. I would love to see those as regular staples on the menu. Even though the calcirita was incredibly smoky, like, "coal in your lungs"-type sensation, it was at least still on theme. I would suggest doing cocktail that can be temporarily lit on fire or it comes in a glass dome with a "smoke-like" effect instead if repeating the theme. I will consider coming back one more time for their regular menu but I don't know that it was worth driving down again soon.
