My utility sink was clogged, exploding with food particles and misc gunk. I called Snappy Rooter on Thursday afternoon and Mike returned my call early Friday morning. They sent Richard Friday afternoon. He was very friendly, efficient, and explained what he was doing. Plus, he cleaned up around the area. For $75.50 (prices must have gone up since Sept) and a thirty day warranty he was able to complete the job in less than half an hour. I highly recommend Snappy Rooter. read more

We called them today to do an estimate they came and immediately started the job we could not be more happier with their work! We had been told such high quotes and they came through and did the job for half the price! They were the first honest people we have met! Thank you Mike and crew I believe it was his nephew :) read more

Thanks Yelp this was one of the best business I've hired! At my house within 10 minutes of my call!!! Nice guy cost me $65 to fix a main line clog read more

Mike did an amazing job replacing my water heater. He stuck by his quoted price, even though he couldn't get a 30 gallon model locally. He pulled some strings and came up with a better 40 gallon unit for the same price. They showed up early, did a nice clean installation, and now I have plenty of hot water. read more

I read the reviews and decided to give them a call, since I had no idea who to call and trust. The reviews did not let me down--Mike and Shane were very pleasant to work with, honest, and quick to do the job. Didn't try to suggest anything extra, just fixed the problem. He quoted $85 over the phone for the problem I described, and said when he completed the job that was what he'd charge and wouldn't go over his quote. I definitely would not hesitate to call them in the future for any plumbing problems. read more

These guys are the best! I got an outrageous quote for another plumbing company to install a garbage disposal. I called Snappy Rooter and Mike gave me a quote that was 60% less. A no brainier! Mike and Eric came and did the install in no time. Thanks guys! read more

We had one toilet that had died and one on its way. They came out assessed the situation and gave me ideas about what to look for in replacements. The cost of installation included picking up new toilets, removing and disposing of old ones, very reasonable plus they guided me to the best toilet options for the least amount of $$. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job! read more

We made an appointment a couple days in advance with Mike at Snappy Rooter. Mike called and confirmed the appointment the morning of the scheduled day. He never showed up nor did he ever call to say he would not be able to make it. It's now a day later and we still have not heard from him nor, at this point, do we expect to hear from him. We will never use this company again since, in our opinion, this company is unreliable. read more

Snappy Rooter has been our family (families) plumber for almost 20 years. Fantastic service, always on time and quick. They are the best I have ever had. They are fast to respond. They make sure all is in order before leaving. They never push extra work not needed. I highly recommend Snappy Rooter to anyone in need of a plumber. Thanks for great service read more

After reading the reviews of the oldest plumbers in Sacramento, and saw how much they tried to upsale you. So i called Snappy! Snappy came out right around the time they told me they would be there. The service call price was very far way better then the last guys quote. Plus they fixed the problem very quickly and offered to instal the new facet for only an extra 15 bucks. Which brought my total with everything to 100 bucks even! Awesome, service and very far pricing! I will for sure call them back for all my plumbing needs and pass their info along to all my neighbors and friends! Thank you Snappy, for staying true to your word and just fixing my kitchen facet leaking problem! You Guys ROCK! Keep it up! read more

We have used Snappy Rooter a number of times and have always been extremely happy with them. Where other plumbers tried to sell us costly new pipes, Mike gave us the real scoop and fixed the problem.....and, the fix has lasted multiple years. We have called them for other plumbing related issues and always get a great response, fantastic work and a fair price. I highly recommend them. read more

On tine, on budget, complete satisfaction. My two 50 gallon water heaters were leaking after 20 years. Called Snappy Rooter and they came out the same day. 4 guys drained and removed the old water heaters, then we went to Home Depot to get the new ones which they installed and cleaned behind themselves. Nice work, highly recommended. read more

I needed the plumbing under my sink replaced. I turned to YELP for help. Found Snappy Rooter, called on Thursday (yesterday), had my appointment today on Friday. Excellent, affordable, quick service. read more

I used Snappy Rooter to clean out the kitchen drain at my rental house. They came out to the house within a couple hours of my call, they were right on time for the time slot of when they said they'd be there, and they even provided a courtesy call when they were headed to the house so that I could minimize the time away from the office. They did a great job, cleared the line in about 15 minutes, gave me a 30 day guarantee, and the cost was only $55. The other quotes I receiver were for $90-120 from one place, and Roto Rooter wanted $185(What a rip-off for a 15 minute job)!!! read more

Excellent service, and the prices seem reasonable. I'll definitely use Snappy Rooter again.

After a long weekend, Mike found a way to squeeze us in to a busy day. Richard and Chauncey were friendly, speedy and tidy. They honored the price quoted over the phone. A week later and everything is running fine. These guys rock! read more

I found Snappy Rooter on yelp, and after reading the great reviews, gave them a call. The sent Richard and Eric who showed up right on time. They listened to my description of the problems and went right to work. Turns out I had a couple drain problems. Anyway they fixed both problems, not without a bit of work, right away. They were very careful to make sure everything worked ok and that we were happy with their work. They were great. We have had occasion to deal with a couple other plumbers during the last year and one was incompetent and the other grossly overpriced. These guys were on time, did a good job, and the price was fair. read more

I had my kitchen sink back up. I've had bad experiences in the past with plumbers so I went on Yelp. This company impressed me with many reviews and an excellent rating. I called for a quote and they were very reasonable. They came out within an hour and had my drains fixed! Kudos for these folks. They are awesome. I will definitely use them again. read more

Guys from Snappy Rooters just replaced water hose to the water heater. Great job !!!! Arrived on time, replaced hose, and out in 15 minutes. Highly recommended!!!! read more

I've called Mike and his team for two jobs now. The first was a replacement of some 70 year old sewer piping, and the second was a replacement of a corroded toilet flange in my bathroom that looked damn near prehistoric. In both cases, Mike was extremely thorough with the work and took the time explain the problem to me. Mike has advised me not to replace the cast iron flange or the piping leaving my bathroom until necessary because, while it looks gnarly, it is till functional and the replacement would be costly. Gotta love his honesty. These guys are reliable for any plumbing job, big or small. read more

Snappy Rooter is amazing! This is the second time I have used them in two years and they do an impeccable job. Richard and Ryan came out to my house and were friendly, professional and honest. Being a single female with two males in my house could be intimidating but these guys put any apprehension I had right at ease as soon as I saw them. They took their time, answered any questions I had, and were courteous in my home (such as wiping off their feet to make sure they didn't track mud in the house from having looked at some pipes outdoors). I will continue to use them any time I need plumbing repairs. Also, there prices are totally fair. I expected the repair to cost more than it did - how often does that happen!?! read more

This past weekend I wanted to drain my water heater. I looked at a couple of you tube videos and was ready to drain the system. Unfortunately it didn't work. I had used Snappy Rooter about 5 years ago and decided to call them. Mike explained what I needed to do to drain the water heater over the phone. It worked and there was not charge. That's true customer service in a time where customer service is at an all time low. Thank you Mike read more

This is my first review I have ever written and I most definitely felt like it was a must. I called this morning around 9am and I was told someone would be here between 1-3pm. My doorbell rang exactly at 1pm and two gentlemen were here to fix my overflowing toilet. They were very kind and helpful and within the first 10 minutes already found and fixed the problem! I was very pleased with my experience and I have found a plumbing company for life. Thanks guys for your help, it is much appreciated :) read more

We wanted to send out a huge thank you to Mike and his crew for fixing a huge problem. We recently purchased a home in Citrus heights. We noticed that the kitchen sink was not draining well. Then it just stopped all together. We called several plumbers and either they did not know what to do or they told us to contact someone else. Long story short our pipe for the main plumbing to the kitchen sink had rotted out. After trying to come up with the best solution besides ripping apart a kitchen or bedroom. Mike and his crew installed a new pipe/ route for the kitchen sink connecting it to the main sewer with minimal damage to the existing walls. They took their time to do it right and to ensure everything would work fine without future challenges. They also we're very cautious about keeping everything clean. This was a huge job and they made it go very smoothly. We highly recommend snappy rooter , a huge thank you to Mike who was honest from beginning to end and fixed our plumbing issue! read more

Fabulous!! I can't say enough about Mike, Richard and Eric. Mike diagnosed the problem pretty quickly on the phone and Richard and Eric arrived at my house 40 minutes after we hung up. Another plumber wouldn't even try to snake the drain from the access point in the basement but these guys did no problem through the basement window and they made sure the snake didn't hit the house the entire time as it was very close to the window casing. They did what we all want and that is they got the drain working in the short term, used the camera to figure out what was going on in the drain and then gave us some options to fix the problem in the near future. The quote they gave me for installing a clean out was way less than that other plumber, too! They were friendly, timely, persistent in figuring out what was going on and they put everything back the way they found it without me around. Beyond that, their prices are very reasonable and I'm so happy to have finally found a plumber that I trust. Highly recommend them. Don't call anyone else. read more

fast. efficient and inexpensive. not like other companies that have a low dollar but will make you wait a day unless you want there emergency service at 3 times the price. not like that well know rooter service that wanted $250.00 for 15 minutes of work. them I sent on their way. I was very lucky to find this company and service was within an hour. probably not usual but then again I got lucky. I made it easy for them as the cleanout was exposed and I had an electric cord at the job site for them. 5 minutes later the water flowed. damn mother in-law flushed a wipe down the toilet. black water in tub and shower. thanks mom-in-law. I think I will send her the bill. read more

Mike, the owner of Snappy Rooter, was the only one who could confidently give me a quote on the phone for the job of unclogging the kitchen sink. His quote was less than half of the other plumbers I called. One would have charged me $49 for just showing up to diagnose the problem and then give me an estimate on the cost of the job. Mike was very punctual, showing up at 11am for a time window of between 11am and 1pm that was my appointment. He had to cut out the improperly installed plastic pipes under the kitchen sink to access the clogged pipe with the snake. The clogged pipe was under the slab! Then he had to replace the pipes under the sink and make sure they did not leak. He charged me only an extra $30 for parts (new plastic pipes), no additional labor charge than what he quoted on the phone. He was very personable and courteous and he took pains to avoid tracking dirt on the carpet. read more
