I have been a customer of snack n pack since i was a child. I love getting their pepperoni balls, and I usually get tornado fries. today I ordered via door dash for lunch. I cannot find an option to add a side of ranch, so I called the store. they refused to give me a side of ranch because they couldn't charge me for it. I had to go through DoorDash. I asked how much ranch could be and they said $1 or if it's to go it is $2. if you are so greedy that you can't give a patron who just spent $25 at your restaurant a side of ranch for fries they are getting from you, then you are too greedy for me. small businesses are supposed to be appreciative. customer loyalty is supposed to be a priority. this restaurant needs to humble themselves because $2 for ranch is nuts! read more

The food is great but giving 3 stars due to staff needing some training & the prices are a bit high. A note about the staff: waitress putting cups under her arm to carry to refill just get us a new cup! Unprofessional and otherwise seemed rather frazzled for some reason. Breakfast prices: two omelets and two coffees was just over $20. Lunch: a hoagie, fries and soda was $16. Portions are average. read more

Been avoiding leaving a review for a long time because I always want to give it another chance but it's clear that the service here is horrible. Everyone needs fired and start from a new. I called and they said they were open for 2 more hours and then when I called back 5 min later the phone was off the hook for the rest of the night. A different time the waitress asked us if we knew what we wanted to order as soon as we sat down without menus after delivering our food (which was good) she kept going to the rest room to "powder her nose" to the point that we had to go find her outside while she was smoking so we could pay our bill. You may not be worried financially but have some pride in your business. read more

Although I get food from here often, I've only had 2 things: the patty melt, and the crispy chicken salad. Now, I'm not a picky eater, but I battle myself every time I order from here because the patty melt is banging, but I have a huge boner for the chicken salad. Knowing these two items are as good as they are makes it tough to order something different, even though I know it'll be damn good too. The service is fantastic as well. Always quick (15-20min) even if I've called right around the lunch rush, and everyone is always very polite and friendly. You can't really beat the prices either! New ownership has made some disappointing changes. First, there is no more "pack", as they no longer carry a liquor license. Second, we ordered "jumbo" wings, and they were just regular sized chicken wings, although the price is comparable to other nearby places that actually have jumbo wings. Those are small details however compared to the last issue, when the check arrived and we paid with a credit card. They decided to pass a 4% credit card surcharge onto their customers. This place used to be a place we went to often, but with these new practices, we won't be back. read more

I have a real love hate with this place. I've lived about 5 minutes from it for a majority of my life so to say I've been here a lot is an understatement. I've tried just about everything on the menu and some days it's good and some days it's not... just depends on who's working I guess. It's your typical bar food and the staff is hit and miss as well. Parking lot was nearly empty at dinner time on a Friday, and full of craters. Came in to buy a few six packs, since there aren't many beer options in Butler. No one is at the counter, but as soon as I walked in, where the beer cave is located, I could hear someone in the kitchen screaming the f-word repeatedly. Um, OK? I guess it doesn't bother me personally, but it would be unsettling if I were in the dining room with kids. It also took about five minutes for someone to bother manning the front register. Finally found some beer I want after wandering around. None of the six packs have prices listed. Neither did anything in the mix and match fridge. I bought them anyway. They were extremely overpriced. Giant Eagle would have been cheaper, but unfortunately the GE in Butler doesn't sell beer. I took the beer to my car and realized there's a visible layer of dust on the bottles. No thanks, guys. Not coming back. read more

Feb, 9, 2019 (LONG) Snack n pack has become nothing but a complete disappointment After giving this place multiple chances lately Because it is one of my favorite place to go, I will never go back unless something changes drastically. 1) I waited over half hour to get my drink while everyone else had theirs, she had forgotten mine but never came back 2) my family and I waited over an hour for our food. This place was not busy there was only 1 other table in the dining room 3) upon receiving our food it was Luke warm at best, even better the fries that came with our food were ice cold ( I have had Iced tea come out warmer than these Fries) 4) I asked for new fries for our meals being as they were not edible I let the rest of it go I just wanted new fries at the least. She had no issue with this but forgot and never brought our new fries out 5) The shredded lettuce that came with my parents Fish dinner smelled so bad that my mother could only smell and had to dispose of it before even trying to eat her food 6) A side order of wings came 15 minutes after our food (yes I know wings take longer but we had already waited an hour for our food) 7) not to make assumptions but I'm about to I'm 99.9% sure our waitress was on "something" and I am also 99.9% a co worker from the back and her did a "pass" out in the open behind the counter in the dining room ( of course they looked around to make sure no one was watching but surprise someone was watching! 8. This place is completely filthy and has been for a very long time but now the shelves are empty it is much more noticeable. 9) after standing in line so our waitress and a customer can go back and fourth about a to go order was to the least annoying (just fix the freaking order) Snack n pack is a staple of butler but yet the owner does not seem to care about her customers and is running this place into the ground. So my husband and I ordered from snack and pack last night Thursday the 16th and we ordered 55$ worth of food and had an 11$ tip ready. But ended up only giving 6 bc our food was 2 hours late and it was cold. They are normally pretty good about delivery but this time it was horrible. The past two times we had breakfast here, we had good food with a low-key and pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, this time was different and we won't go back. First, overall, the food was too greasy including our omelette and home fries. Next, the spinach omelette was almost inedible - it seemed to be made with canned spinach (gross) instead of fresh, and the omelette had an overall bitter flavor which we couldn't pinpoint but it seemed like it came from rancid cooking oil, maybe? Next, the ketchup from the bottle sitting on the table had a sour fermented taste so we grabbed the bottle from the table next to us. That bottle was sticky from top to bottom as though it hadn't been wiped off in a long time. Lastly, when we came into the restaurant there was some embarrassing bickering among employees about whether we should be seated immediately or wait. The food was excellent. Thank GOD! It made up for the HORRIBLE waitress and cashier. We had to get our own menus after sitting for nearly 15 minutes while the waitress was smoking outside. She was very rude and never smiled. It was impossible to get refills, that would have got in the way of the waitresses smoke breaks. Not a single dirty plate cleared. When we got our bill, the waitress said she forgot to charge us for our drinks, and did not feel like adding it to our bill. So, the owner lost money over her laziness. $10 of free drinks. Then she cried about how bad her tips were. I felt like telling her to get a new job because she sucked as a waitress. Cashier was just as mean, no smiles, no greetings. This place is under new ownership and all I can say is "Wow!" They remodeled the inside and the service could not have been friendlier. The food was fantastic! They don't have a liquor license, so no beer, which is a downside. But they do offer breakfast now, which I'm looking forward to trying after this meal. Haven't found anywhere else that does them as well. I wish I could to save the trip. The other apps are solid as well but really how can one screw up cheese sticks and the like?
