My wife and I are smiling widely today as we admire the great work SMS Painting provided to our home this past week. Firstly, they had some very difficult work to do with our chimney. Through old age and woodpeckers, there were several pieces of wood and siding that need replacing and painting. I will attach a photo to show you our chimney but as you can see, it is pretty high and the ground is not level. I was concerned....but the workers reassured me that they got this. And they did. We still felt compelled to offer up our prayers for their safety...thank you, Lord. Secondly, because we asked them to seal/stain our deck, they first had to pressure wash it. They did a fabulous job doing that as well....and not everyone you inquire about wants to pressure wash a deck. But SMS did it and did it well indeed. Lastly, the seal/stain of our deck completed the work we required. Again, hopefully the photos speak a thousand words. All three of the workers were on top of this as well-mission accomplished. Happy customers. Final thoughts: this was all made possible by our initial meeting with Field Manager, Serge. When we met with him to go over what we wanted done, what this will cost us, and when it could be done, Serge's warm personality and professional manner really impressed us. He made us want to give money to his company, and make us feel good in doing such. Guess what? We did and we do. Speaking about money, my wife always gets estimates from several sources...trust me, SMS is very competitive and won't gauge you like some companies try to. They were recommended by several families on our community Facebook website, and now we are recommending them on our website as well. I will also be recommending SMS on Yelp and Google as well because people just need to know SMS is good in their work, fair in price, and definitely dependable in everything else. 100% recommend SMS for all your painting needs. We obtained a quote for painting the exterior as well as several rooms in our house. The quote was extremely reasonable for the scope of work, and everything was handled professionally and with an exquisite attention to detail. Repairs were required on the exterior, and now you can't even tell there was ever a problem. The interior also had some minor repairs in order to paint, including scraping off old wallpaper border. I trusted SMS painting in my home to provide me with quality interior painting, Instead, I received the worst paint job that I've ever had. The paint job looked okay until the lights were on, and you were focused on the painting and that's when it was clear that the prep work and the painting was unsatisfactory. You could clearly see where the application of paint was uneven on the walls and ceiling. Also, the trim and doors which were sprayed had a lot of areas where too much paint was applied which caused the paint to run, also the trim was painted the same color and they simply fail to paint most of it. They broke a couple of items one of which they attempted to hide by putting it inside a cabinet. Many areas of my hand scrapped hardwood floors were ruined due to the young lady that was tasked with removing the paint used a chemical that damaged the finish, paint was also spilled on the hardwood floors in a bedroom which ruined them. I'm very disappointed at the paint job. the more that I look at it the more that I see that's wrong. What a nightmare. I will have to contract another company to correct this awful paint job. read more

12/10 would recommend! Every aspect of our experience with SMS Painting LLC was fantastic. I reached out to 3 local companies for an extensive exterior paint project that required a fair amount of siding and rotted wood replacement. Serge was quick to respond to my inquiry and provided a thorough and educational walk-around. Out of the 3 companies, SMS Painting had by far the lowest estimate (thousands lower than the other 2 options), was the only one who used upgraded paint (SW Resilience), and were incredibly easy to communicate and schedule with. At first I was worried it was too good to be true, but it truly wasn't! They were able to start 2 weeks out from the estimate, and completed our project in 3 business days. I was incredibly impressed by the paint crew; they were very respectful, they were on time every single day, they finished every evening at a reasonable hour (6pm, which was great for us because we have 2 kids under 3), and they were fast without compromising quality. My house looks brand new! Serge and his crew did a fantastic job. After prepping the exterior wood siding, a few rotten board were found. The crew did a great job removing the bad wood and expertly replacing the siding. The color match is perfect. What a nice crew! They showed up on time, were very polite and considerate of their surroundings. Everything was put back the way it was and they did a great job cleaning up.
