I explained my struggles with anxiety, and she was more knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding than any professional I've worked with before. She holds no judgment, just compassion and guidance to healing. I've had trouble sleeping for years, and Kassidy took the time to really listen, educate me, and support me in a way that felt deeply personal. She has such a thoughtful understanding of what it's like to be a woman dealing with anxiety, and that made all the difference. I came back today just to see her again and thank her for the help she gave me. It is such a relief to find someone who truly cares, understands the suffering that comes with anxiety, and genuinely wants to help. Kassidy is an absolute blessing, and the Herb Bar is lucky to have her.

Conscious Kitchen ATX is one of those rare places that actually lives up to its name. The moment…read moreyou walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you - calm, grounding, and intentional in a way that's hard to find in a city moving as fast as Austin. The food is revolutionary. Every dish reflects a deep commitment to holistic nourishment, using techniques and methods that stay true to their mission. In a city full of "healthy" options, this is the cleanest and most thoughtfully sourced food I've come across in a long time (no compromises and no shortcuts) What really sealed it for me was the staff. Incredibly warm and hospitable. The kind of team that makes you feel like a guest rather than just a customer. I left feeling joy and wellness, not just full. I hope more people discover this place. Austin is lucky to have it.

Pre-packaged meals and drinks are available to grab from the refrigerators as well if you are just running by. If not, there is a small indoor seating nook with tall seating. I didn't love the Brilliant Brain as I could taste the stevia, and the desserts we tried were ok. The blueberry lavender cheesecake was heavy on the lavender. I will return to try others.

We went on a Saturday night and it was very well lit, although the deli offerings looked a little bit sad. Service was standard Whole Foods behavior with self check out, seating outside and in the area to dine or take your food out to go! This is a bit of a trek for us to go to but we are loyal WF fans and enjoyed exploring this spot!

I'm grateful to have a store close enough to my house that delivery is available. The one thing I can say (having shopped at this store for over a decade) is the staff provides the most amazing customer service. Stellar! I recently placed an order to get a few specialty food items to enjoy on the holidays solo. [NOTE: When you shop through Amazon Prime any items shopped as "unavailable" are replaced by an Amazon automatic algorithm and you literally only have 90 seconds to accept or deny via text. Not the store's fault, but very annoying.] On this particular order, the algorithm replaced a meat product with a dessert. Hilarious. Knowing the time restrictions, I immediately called the store. I had called late the previous evening to make sure they had plenty of the product in stock and was assured they did. I was told that there was nothing they could do, as the order had already closed. I kindly asked to be escalated to an e-commerce rep. Kai (and other staff) successfully found the item I desperately wanted for the occasion and added it to my order. :) For any other person, and especially during any other time of year, it probably wouldn't have been a big deal at all. To me this year, during this time, it was and is. So thank you so much Kai et al for helping me make the best time of the holiday season that I planned for myself. Joy to the world! Sometimes the smallest things mean the most. Cheers!

PERFECT?! Intriguing! The linguistics alone sold me. 20% of your daily recommended protein. Ingredients that I UNDERSTAND. That I would actually cook with. Very little sugar, gluten free... basically a protein bar that is way more delicious and lacks any weird shit I've never heard of. When I visited Whole Foods the other day, they were giving free samples of a protein bar. I countered with, "But have you tried The Perfect Cookie?" And began an uncharacteristically promotional rant. I think I convinced her. Yes, these facts are interesting but OH MY GOD. The flavor! I adore Grandma's Cookies (the brand) and this tastes EXACTLY like Grandma's.. but I don't feel horrible when I eat five. So dense and soft and decadent. I've tried all three flavors (macadamia nut and white chocolate, chocolate chip, and peanut butter) WAY too many times in the month since I've discovered this bliss and they are all fantastic. Why you gotta make cookies seem so harmless and good for me? THIS JUST ISN'T RIGHT. The HEB 20% off coupon isn't helping either.

I have not tried the cookies but the Oatmega Bars are awesome. When I don't have time for a sit down meal post workout I will occasionally pick up an Oatmega Bar from either Snap Kitchen or MyFit Foods. I usually cannot stand the chalky meh taste of "healthy" bars or they have more calories than I want. While I am not a fan of how their Dark Chocolate Peanut bar tastes, the Vanilla Almond is heavenly and the Dark Chocolate Mint tastes just like a Girl Scout thin mint cookie. All the bars are 190 calories, have 14 grams of protein, gluten free, have antioxidants from green tea and are loaded with omega 3s. Some of the ingredients include grass-fed whey protein, organic brown rice, organic raisins, non-GMO sunflower lecithin but warning to the vegetarians it does contain fish oils. They do not have a storefront but you can purchase a box online. They are also carried at some HEBs, Central Market, Fresh Plus, and I have seen them at some of the Snap Kitchens and MyFit Foods locations.
