In a hurry, I paid more for some methyl B-12 at WFM. A month later, when I was out, I made a trip to Vitamin Shoppe. Their inventory is diverse and deep, so I asked for help in finding what I needed. I found the staff to be most helpful in that regard, showing me my options. I settled on the store brand methyl B-12, which was on a BOHO sale at the time of my visit. As a bonus, the store offered some free fitness magazines, but I was told that at least one of them had some great tips and recipes. I don't know that I'll source all of my vitamin needs here in the future, but, for the specialty items, I certainly will. And I'll keep my eyes open for opportunities to do more business with Vitamin Shoppe.

I needed quite a few dairy items of course so buying everything I need to bake a cake which is a banana cake I need all the ingredients. Of course a lot of the items that I needed was in stock and I was grateful for that the only bad thing is that I needed the vanilla for this particular cake. So I went ahead and purchased vanilla extract that was higher priced which is fine with me. When I walk down the aisles I see that everything is cleaned mopped everything is orderly which is kind of rare especially in this location. But this time everything was cleaned up people were stalking the shelves and very kind staff that worked the night shift. This is one of the reasons I really like this store because it carries so much items and laundry products. Of course meat is a lot higher in this store now I do know that Randalls carries great sirloin steaks for a lot less. Nowadays it seems like there's a new CBD shop opening every other day - and that's on top of the…read more"hemp trucks" routinely parked each night in areas such as East 6th (meaning next to various food trucks), where I live - but their selection for the most part isn't great. A lot of them also sell products of dubious quality, quite a few of which have turned out to be largely faked. Since I know a ton of people who have various sleep or anxiety issues, I'm always on the lookout for CBD shops that aren't lackluster. I'm happy to report this is definitely one of those places. I only wish I'd known about it sooner: I'm simply not in that part of Austin that often. And while it's on a somewhat nondescript part of Burnet, the shop itself is easily the nicest I've seen *anywhere* in Austin. It's very nicely designed and thoughtfully laid out. I know CBD American Shaman has other locations (I assume on a franchise model), but at least based on photos I've seen of the others, this one seems nicer than most. It also easily has the biggest selection I've seen anywhere in or near Austin - meaning of *quality* brands that are plainly professionally produced, not the possibly-to-probably fake stuff sold at other places. I was impressed that they seemed to have everything, or nearly so, actually in stock! And, again, it's well laid-out: I definitely get how a place like this can feel overwhelming to a newbie, but the owner definitely knows his stuff and can walk you through, say, the differences between D8 & D9, or CBD & CBN, or even the still somewhat new THCa variant. Finally, it's all available in myriad forms: topicals, edibles, smokables, and drinkables - including CBD for some pets. (And probably a few I'm forgetting.) And despite the unusually high caliber of design & product, Capital CBD is a great value; I've seen other places that charge quite a bit more, particularly for Hometown Hero products.
