My family of 4 stopped in for an ice cream and let's just say while the service was good, the product was totally unsatisfactory! Three of us ordered waffle cones with 1 scoop and I ordered a cake cone with one scoop. The scoops were tiny, especially for a total price of $38.20! I could've lived with it and not even concerned myself with this review but as we walked back to our Airbnb, it became apparent that the product was inferior as the cones were all stale. Today I woke up wanting a good smoothie. I don't know why because it normally is not my thing. When looking for options this brand kept coming up. That gorgeous picture of the three smoothies they had out with the bright colors looked so good. I knew I wanted a good refreshing fruit smoothie. The store was so cool looking. It was different and bright inside. I loved it. This was my first time here. The menu was posted by the desk. I appreciate that. This store does not take bills larger than 20$ that was the second sign I saw. I was a little lost ordering at first. You know when the person working the desk is used to the usual crowd's orders and is just waiting for you to say what you want type of thing. I wanted a fresh fruit smoothie. The proteins and other add-ons were not so important to me. I asked for assistance and got little. I ended up with a spinach and pineapple smoothie. I watched him make it. It was a scoop of this and that. It wasn't as fresh as I hoped. It tasted good. I could still taste some of the powder mixture. I didn't like that so much. I came in to get a smoothie the owner was talking to someone from the fitness place in the plaza.. she looked at me Didn't smile, didn't say just a minute.. nothing... when she finished with the lady she was talking to she went in the back and Didn't return she didn't send anyone out to help me she just left... someone eventually saw me through the glass in the door and she looked surprised and then she left... a few moments later another girl came out and she did help me.. she was nice and my smoothie was made correctly but I think the owner dropped the ball and sets the tone... This was the rudest customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I live nearby and was excited to try the new smoothie king. I walked in to order a smoothie and the restaurant was empty. The only person working was rinsing some dishes turned around saw me and turned back around to continue with the dishes. I stood at the register for three minutes, and even said "good morning". She continue to ignore me and rinse dishes. I want support a business like this, so left without ordering. I will never come back to this store again. This was 10 AM on November 14. Horrible service. Came at around 5pm 2/20 (yesterday) and me and my friend ordered two smoothies. Nobody was in the place it took them almost 10-15 minutes to make our two smoothies.
