The transaction showing you charged me 740 dollars and 24 cents. For nothing! Gonna be needing that money back!

Food was fine. Gotta 2 meat plate with pecan cobbler for desert cost 27.13. Not a bad deal right?! After I got home that evening I got an alert from my bank where I was charged another 740.24. And I have yet to have it resolved and no one has got back with me to resolve the situation. So at this point my lunch has cost me 767.37 very annoyed by this.

Just opened tonight great food just like all the locations. They did a good job being there first night. It's great to have them in Tuttle

Worst bbq I've ever had !!! The meat is extremely dry with an incredible lack of flavor. They make you pay up front as well...probably because they know it sucks.

Quality barbecue at a good price. Friendly staff eager to help. Well worth the drive from the surrounding area for some good barbecue.

Very disappointing. Out of half the items on menu. Staff was very confused and unsure. Wish I had known before I drove so far.

The hostess and 2-3 waitresses went over and spent about 20 minutes petting the dog and visiting with this young man. I think he was there to see his girlfriend, who I believe was the hostess. When he left with the dog, I didn't see any of the employees wash their hands. All of the employees were very young girls. Maybe this is okay with other people, but it's not okay with me. I have a huge problem with this, and unless it is addressed here, I won't be back. New ownership has clearly taken their eye off of customer service. The previous owner would have flipped her lid if something like that happened. I don't know who this kid is, and I don't know why his female friend thought it was okay for a dog to be hanging out in the waiting area, but it isn't okay. They need to tighten up the ship if they want me to be back. I've been coming here almost every Friday for almost 20 years, back to when they were in the old location. Unless I get a response from ownership here that this has been addressed, I won't be back. Before you start, it wasn't a service dog. It was a hound that he was holding in his arms. Looked like a beagle. He came back later without the dog to visit with the hostess some more. This isn't okay, and it needs to be addressed.

I'm always searching for that hidden gem -- the kind of place you only hear about through the…read moregrapevine. Ken's Steak & Ribs in Amber, OK is exactly that place. From Oklahoma City it's less than an hour drive, and before long you know you've left city life behind. As the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover -- and the same applies here. From the outside the building is pretty modest, but once you step inside you immediately get that cozy, homey feeling. Another unique feature: the restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9:00 PM, and there are no menus. Your server simply tells you the options: * 8 oz or 12 oz Sirloin * Prime Rib * Rib Dinner * Chicken * Smoked Sausage * Salad Bar * Baked Potato, Sweet Potato, or Fries In my opinion, this is a classic approach -- keep the menu simple so the food and experience can shine. Based on reviews I had read on Facebook and Yelp, the advice was to arrive early or expect a line. Since this was our 20th anniversary dinner, we arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited comfortably in the parking lot. Good move -- we were seated right when the doors opened at 4:30. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and quaint, giving it a relaxed small-town steakhouse vibe. Our server Virginia greeted us quickly, took our drink order, and we both ordered the 12 oz sirloin with baked potatoes. The salad bar is simple but well done. One detail I loved: refrigerated salad plates -- in my opinion that's the only proper way to serve a side salad. The offerings included iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded carrots, cucumbers, chives, croutons, and dressings like blue cheese, French/Catalina, and ranch. They also offer fried okra and pinto beans, which adds a nice Oklahoma touch. Instead of rolls, each diner receives a barbecue rib to start the meal -- now that's a unique and delicious idea. Our steaks arrived shortly after. I ordered mine medium rare, my wife went with medium rare plus, and both were excellent. The first bite had that unmistakable mesquite flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. Honestly, we probably didn't need the 12 oz steaks -- neither of us finished them. Could I have? Sure. But why be miserable? The meal was outstanding and exactly what we were hoping for on a special night. The only small disappointment was that there are no dessert options, but that's hardly a deal breaker. Final thoughts: Ken's Steak & Ribs is absolutely worth the trip. It takes a little planning because of their limited hours, but if you're looking for a classic Oklahoma steakhouse experience, this place delivers. We'll definitely be back.

They open at 4:30 and there were just a few tables left. The venue is in an old vintage building so common across small town Oklahoma. It's definitely casual with a very relaxed atmosphere. There is no menu and the offerings are limited: prime rib, sirloin steak and ribs. There is a wonderful salad bar. The salad is cold, as are the plates. On the salad bar is fried Okra and brown beans. They also offer a complimentary rib for each diner. The rib was very good. I ordered the sirloin. It was cooked to order and was flavorful. Sirloin is not a cut I would order if given options. Wish they had filet, T-bone and ribeye on the menu. Jan ordered the prime rib. It was nice and she enjoyed it. Texas Toast is served with the meal. It was nice to do something different. We enjoyed the meal. The hospitality was exceptional. The service very good. The prices are moderate. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.

I'm a big bbq lover and have had bbq in several states and different styles over the years. I grew up in the Carolinas where Whole Hog Pulled Pork is king , lived in Texas for a couple years , lived in Las Vegas for 35 years where we had several bbq places of different regional favorites ( Kansas City , Memphis , Texas , Carolina ) , I've also been to Memphis , Tennessee , Georgia , Alabama , Mississippi , the list goes on. The first time I came in I had the 2 Meat Plate with Moist Brisket , Pulled Pork , Sweet Brisket Beans , Deviled Egg Potato Salad , Roll , Sweet Tea , and Peach Cobbler. The Brisket had a nice smoke ring , but just okay flavor. I liked it better with the Thick Bbq Sauce. Pulled Pork was a little smoky and a little dry , but okay and I liked it better with the Sweet Bbq Sauce. Deviled Egg Potato Salad was right on the money. I love bbq beans , but these Sweet Brisket Beans missed the mark. Peach Cobbler was the worst I've ever had , so disappointed. Sweet Tea could've been better so the next two times I came in I did Dr Pepper. The Second Time I came in I wanted a nice burger and usually bbq places have good burgers. I got the Double Stack Cheeseburger , Fries , Georgia Mustard Sauce , Pickles , Water , and Dr Pepper. My waiter asked me if I wanted to try the new Georgia Mustard Sauce and I said of course. He said he likes to dip his Fries in it. It's very good and out of all their sauces my favorite. I told him next time I will get the Pulled Pork and use it for that and it will fit it perfectly. The burger was pretty good , maybe cooked just a little too much and I like a Medium burger. It was good size with lots of good green lettuce , tomato , and cheese. I got a side of mayonnaise for it. The Fries were fresh and pretty good. The third time I came in I got the Pulled Pork , Deviled Egg Potato Salad , Jalapeno Sweet Corn , Roll , Pickles , Georgia Mustard Sauce , and Dr Pepper. The Pulled Pork with the Georgia Mustard Sauce is a Winner ! The Jalapeno Sweet Corn is really good also , I would recommend it over the beans. Deviled Egg Potato Salad is very good also. The Roll was really soft and good. Pickles are good and of course you can't go wrong with Dr Pepper. Each time I came in the place was clean and the service was very good. They also have a salad bar and free ice cream near the exit. I want to try more items of course to include the Pork Ribs and the Giant Beef Rib. In Las Vegas there was a guy that had an Asian Fusion Bbq place and it had the best Dinosaur Sized Beef Rib I've ever had , so we will see how Swadley's compares to it. The only thing is the Swadley's one is over $10 more than I paid for the ones in Vegas which is kind of hard to believe , you would think it would be cheaper in Oklahoma.

This is to tell you how bad the Cobbler is! We had Apple and Cherry that tasted terrible. Both were all breading or soft crust. Not really sweet or taste of sugar on the crust either. Don't waste your money. Also called and talked to manager due to time date on container as in attached picture. Made 7-1 so Three days old. He said it was good all day on 7-3. I'm guessing taste is bad no matter when it was made.
