We were quickly welcomed by the front counter ordering team - when you first come in, you can check out the menu, and we were offered beverages while we selected dinner. We picked the three meat special with two sides, and it was enough to share for my wife and myself. The food was prepared quickly, and the servers deliver the food by calling out the customer's name and bringing it to the table. While it seemed a bit unconventional, it made a whole lot more sense than handing people table numbers as happens in many other quick serve restaurants...it actually added a little charm to the experience. All of the barbecue (ribs, chicken, pulled pork) was absolutely delicious, as was the mac and cheese. I never needed to ask for a drink refill, since the iced tea came in what felt like a quart-sized cup. Pricing was absolutely reasonable, averaging less than $20 per person all in for dinner. While we didn't have room for dessert, they do have a few items, and I'll have to swing back by in the future for some of their bread pudding. For delicious food, friendly service/staff, great pricing, I highly recommend Brisky's.

I was also impressed by how many gluten-free options they offer. Even their po' boy can be battered with rice flour. Our waiter explained that the chef is gluten-free and that they are very mindful of guests with celiac disease, including separating food preparation when needed. That level of care is a huge plus. Compared with the previous location in the historic area, the new dining room is more spacious with most tables having at least one side with banquet seats. Parking is so much easier, and I think the food quality is better and more consistent than it used to be. This was our second visit to the new location and each time the food and service have been amazing. As always it's a great place for vegetarians and vegans with most items on the menu having vegetarian or vegan options. There is no shortage of great seafood and meat options too. They have local meat and seafood on the menu. There are also lots of gluten free options. We were celebrating our anniversary and the manager and our server were so nice and accommodating. There is a lot of outdoor seating under old live oak trees which will be amazing in the fall and spring. In August at least at lunchtime it would be far too hot to sit outside. For guests visiting from out of town, this is a great lunch stop before or after visiting the Alligator Farm!
